  • This article analyzes the relationship between the privacy attitudes of MyData users and the four dimensions of privacy cynicism (distrust, uncertainty, powerlessness, and resignation) as to privacy protection intentions through a structural equation model. It was examined that MyData user's internet skills had a statistically significant negative effect on 'resignation' among the privacy cynicism dimensions. Secondly, privacy risks have a positive effect on 'distrust' in MyData operators, 'uncertainty' in privacy control, and 'powerlessness' in terms of privacy cynicism. Thirdly, it was analyzed that privacy concerns have a positive effect on the privacy cynicism dimensions of 'distrust' and 'uncertainty', with 'resignation' showing a negative effect. Fourthly, it was found that only 'resignation' as a dimension of privacy cynicism showed a negative effect on privacy protection intention. Overall, MyData user's internet skills was analyzed as a variable that could alleviate privacy cynicism. Privacy risks are a variable that reinforces privacy cynicism, and privacy concerns reinforce privacy cynicism. In terms of privacy cynicism, 'resignation' offsets privacy concerns and lowers privacy protection intentions.

  • The purpose of this study is to synthesize research findings on the relationship between parenting efficacy and the variables related to it, as well as to produce results using meta-analysis. The following questions guide this study : Which variables are frequently conducted in research related to parenting efficacy? What is the effect size of each variable? The 65 studies whose results are analyzed in this paper were collected via a search for investigations focusing on 'parenting efficacy'. The studies were used for meta-analysis in which eleven variables were selected. The results of the analysis indicate that a large effect size is produced by the parenting stress in a negative direction. A higher than medium effect size occurs on the basis of parenting beliefs in a negative direction. A higher than medium effect size is also caused by the father's involvement in child care and social support. A medium effect size is produced on the basis of children's temperament, and a small effect size is the result of the mother's academic background, parenting knowledge, and parent's income. There is no relationship between parenting efficacy and children's gender.

  • This study was conducted about the effect of Shihogesikungang-tang on the central nervous system and cardiovascular system for the investigation of its clinical effect based on the Oriental medicinal references. The results of this study were summerized as follows; Analgesic activity as evaluated by the writhing syndrome in mice was significantly noted. A decrease effect of the spontaneous movement as estimated by wheel cage method, muscle relaxant effect as evaluated by the rotor rod method and the prolonged effect of sleeping time induced by thiopental-Na were significantly shown in mice. A antipyretic activity in febrile rats induced by the endotoxin was recognized. Anti-inflammatory effect in carrageen-induced paw edema in rats was significantly noted. Negative inotropic action on the isolated heart of frogs was noted. A vasodilative action in rabbits peripheral blood vessels and hypotension in anesthetized rabbits were remarkably recognized.

Further, we tried to test the moderating effect of Islamic work ethics (IWE) in the relationship of Personality traits with Job satisfaction. Convenience sampling was used in defining sample as in Pakistan there is no data base which provides information regarding number of employees. Due to moderating variable the data has been collected from respondents who identify themselves as Muslim. To collect data from respondents Self-administered, close-ended questionnaires and e-questionnaire were used in this study and respondents were targeted in the normal working environment. Correlation and regression analysis was used to analyze the data statistically. The results of study indicated that neuroticism exhibits significant negative effect on job s atisfaction. Also, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness showed positive effect on job satisfaction. Whereas, extraversion exhibits no effect on job satisfaction and IWE has a negative effect on job satisfaction. However, the output indicates that IWE do not act as moderator in the relation of agreeableness and conscientiousness with job satisfaction moderation effect of IWE is observed between the relationship of neuroticism, extraversion and openness to experience with job satisfaction.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic ripple effect(ERE) of logistics industry by construction of Trans-Korea Railway (TKR) and present policy measures to minimize the economic loss of South Korea (SK). Research design, data and methodology: As the analysis method, exponential smoothing was used for demand forecasting, Input-Output analysis was used to estimate the economic ripple effect coefficient, and scenario analysis was used to an efficient way to invest in TKR to minimize SK's economic losses. Results: 1) the production(logistics fares) of TKR for 10 years after its completion is about 11.42 trillion won in positive relations, and 26.89 billion won in negative relations. 2) the ERE of SK in positive relations is 24.32 trillion won in production inducement effect, 8.1 trillion won in value-added inducement effect, 3.54 trillion won in import inducement effect, and 70,930 persons in employment inducement effect. But the ERE was insufficient in the negative relations. 3) SK's efficient investment method is providing materials and equipment by SK and building the TKR by North Korea in positive inter-Korea relations. Conclusions: For the successful operation of TKR, international cooperation, legalization and stable peace settlement on the Korean Peninsula are required.
