Information needs of users have been examined both generally and as they pertain to particular types and formats of information. Barriers to information have also been investigated, including those which are situational and also across certain domains and socioeconomic contexts. Unified studies concerning both information needs and barriers are needed. Both are likely always present in any given interactive search situation; further, users' attempts to satisfy their own individualized information needs will likely encounter barriers of some sort. The present study employed a survey method to collect users' perceptions of video information needs and barriers as part of recent video search situations. Findings from this analysis establish a unified framework, based on the themes emerging directly from the responses of users, and present the suitability and benefit for informing future designs and evaluations of user-centered interactive retrieval tools.

This study endeavors to provide basic data for healthcare policy development by identifying factors that influence the unmet healthcare needs of the elderly with chronic diseases. The study utilized data from the 2017 Korean National Survey on the Elderly, and analyzed 9,117 elders afflicted with more than 1 chronic disease. We determined that 851 (9.3%) elders experienced unmet healthcare needs from hospital & clinical treatment, and 1,469 (16.1%) elders experienced unmet dental treatment. 'Economic difficulty' was the most common reason expressed by 425 (49.9%) elders for unmet healthcare needs from hospital and clinical treatment, and by 1,066 (72.6%) elders for dental treatment. Furthermore, unmet healthcare needs in hospital and clinical treatment were affected by various factors, including spouse, education, self-rated health status and exercise, whereas unmet healthcare needs in dental treatment were affected by factors such as spouse, education, medical aids, self-rated health status, smoking, and exercise. Based on the research results achieved, we propose a necessity to establish healthcare policies that consider the influencing factors, and help resolve the unmet healthcare needs of the elderly with chronic diseases.

Purpose: This study was done to compare educational needs for discharge after thyroid cancer surgery between patients and nurses. Methods: The participants were 107 patients who had thyroid cancer surgery and 70 nurses who have had experience of taking care of patients with thyroid cancer surgery at P hospital in Busan. The researcher reviewed the literature and conducted a preliminary survey to develop a questionnaire. Results: Although there was no significant difference in total perceived nursing discharge educational needs after thyroid cancer surgery between patients and nurses, both had a high level of nursing educational needs for discharge. The degree of patients' needs was higher than nurses in areas of dietary management after discharge and the degree of nurses' needs was higher than patients in the other areas. Although the first ranking area of educational needs was medication management for both patients and nurses, dietary management after discharge was the second ranking for patients and operation site and complication management was those for nurses. Conclusions: As the patients had different educational needs from the nurses, nurses need to focus on the patient's educational needs and provide relevant information. Educational programs should be developed and applied to post-surgical thyroid cancer patients.
Objectives: Individuals' self-reported unmet needs are an important indicator of heath care of their society. Using data from the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) Cycle 1.2, we examine unmet needs for mental health care in Canada and discuss its implications to health education. Results: The most frequently reported reason for unmet needs was barriers to acceptability issues, which stem primarily from lack of knowledge of mental health, negative attitudes towards mental disorder, and mistrust of mental health professionals. Unmet needs for mental health care appeared an especially serious issue among the young. Also, individuals who reported unmet needs tended to have some ill health behavior such as illicit drug use that could be their coping mechanism. On the other hand, emotional and informational support factors have shown an important mitigating effect on unmet needs. Conclusions: These findings of unmet needs pose a major challenge to health education. To effectively address unmet mental health care needs, it is recommended that the focus of relevant policies and programs should be on enhancing a multi-level mental health education strategy including efforts on individual, environmental and professional level education.

Methods Survey questionnaire was produced by referring to the previous recognition survey studies for clinical KMDs. The survey questionnaire was composed 18 questions regarding the current status of clinical care for GD, clinician's knowledge level about GD, and other details that clinicians use during practice. The survey was conducted from January 2021 to March 2021. An online survey was conducted on 101 KMDs from the association of pediatrics of KM. Results According to the survey, 96 respondents (40.3%) said the causation of GD without growth hormone deficiency needs to be included in CPG. 96 (23.5%) of the respondents wishes to utilize percentile in diagnosis and evaluation of the growth assessment. 24.7% of the clinicians were using the herbal medicine treatment. Currently, when treating with KM for GD, herbal medicine (100%) is the most widely used, followed by acupuncture (77.6%), and moxibustion (36.7%). In terms of a complex treatment, growth therapy efficacy (26.8%) is shown to be the most important factor to consider and needed to be included in CPG for the complex treatment, and diet (22.3%) is also considered to be important in GD. Conclusions In this study, we were able to understand the clinical KMDs' perception of GD, knowledge level, and the requirements in the CPG. The results of this study will provide the basic data for development of CPG for GD.

Average score of for HIV/AIDS patients' spiritual needs was 108.67: More specifically, 37.80 in the needs of love and interest, 42.35 in the needs of seeking meanings and purposes, and 28.51 in the needs of wanting to be forgiven. 3. The purpose of this study is to identify the content of programs that fathers require and their needs with regard to the implementation of such programs. This research was conducted using survey questionnaires. The subjects of the study are fathers with children aged between seven and nine. A total of 688 subjects were selected from 800 samples. The survey on the needs for educational programs for fathers reveals that the respondents have more than average interest in each program. The needs of the content of programs vary. depending on the income levels and fathers' jobs. They prefer to take less than a month-long program where they meet a total of 4 times. They prefer taking the program during weekdays and want to have a class with less than 20 people. We should diversify objectives and education content of parental education so that individuals can choose the program they need and actually apply what they have teamed in real life.
