Research and Analisis for the qualities of chest films of emergency cases were completed in order to produce a valuable one of diagnostic necessity. It is resulted as follows; 1. Among the 3,505 cases of chest films, 47% of them was poor conditioned the reason was fowned as of unsuitable exposure. 2. It become the same condition when we increased 11.4% of KVp in full exhalation compare with the full inhalation of erect position and 20% after full exhalation and 4.3% after full inhalation in supine position. The result was that no difference between prone position and supine position was fowned. 3. When respiration volume is different, proper control of KVp is extremely needed.

Recently, the necessity of establishing the way to diagnose the aging of insulation materials and to predict of insulation breakdown become important. The purpose of our work are to investigate the treeing phenomena with a artificial needle shape void by the charge of partial discharge and acoustic emission pulse in each phase angle area at the same time. We have analyzed the ${\Phi}-Q-n$ pattern and the insulation diagnosis of the samples using statistic operators such as charge magnitude and A.E pulse factor, skweness, kurtosis, G,C. Therefore, the relation between the charge of partial discharge and A.E pulse will be helpful and efficient to predict the breakdown just before the breakdown occure.

A flat plate-column connection is susceptible to brittle punching shear failure, which may result in the necessity of shear reinforcement. In previous, experimental tests were performed to study the capacity of slab-column connections strengthened with various shear reinforcement, and the capacity of the specimens with lattice reinforcement are superior to the others. In present study, to study for effects of details of lattice reinforcement, experimental studies was performed. Main parameters are the amount of lattice shear reinforcement, arrangement of lattice and the effect of flexural re-bar. And capacity of the specimen with small amount of lattice reinforcement was higher than the capacity of other shear reinforcement.

Knowledge-based Service Industry is an industry that creates added value through the production, processing, and use of knowledge. Comparing to other service industries, it is innovation-oriented business endeavors having the characteristics that exert the great influences on other fields. Meanwhile, however, research efforts thereof are yet insignificant. In this study, we analyzed the innovation performance of architectural design office which creates knowledge services, having raised the necessity of innovation of the design office. The innovation performance were classified according to the extent of efficiency of the architectural design office making use of DEA-Tier analysis, and, for those architectural design offices that showed significant differences in efficiency, we presented the case studies of the firms that were substantial benchmarking targets from short, medium, and long-term perspectives.

Firefighters are exposed to extreme stress and risk owing to the nature of their work. This can lead to psychological burnout, and work overload can result in lethargy and depression. This study aims to analyze the mediating effect of depression on the impact of heavy workloads on psychological exhaustion among firefighters. We conducted a survey among firefighters in various regions of Korea to analyze the levels of work overload, depression, and psychological burnout. The analysis yielded the following results. First, work overload, depression, and psychological exhaustion showed positive correlations. Second, the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between work overload and psychological exhaustion was verified. This study confirms the necessity of the systematic management of psychological exhaustion by addressing the mediating role of depression in the context of heavy workloads. This study is expected to serve as foundational data for policy measures aimed at reducing the burden on firefighters, and maintaining their mental health.

This study provides the empirical results of the customers' necessity and intentions of purchasing weather index insurance using survey of asking the customers' recognition about weather insurance. In this article, we discovered that not only the customers' past experience of loss but also the extent of damage and the effects that change in weather would have on their firm are positively related to an intention to purchase weather index insurance. In addition, the level of premiums was significantly higher for the highly-intended group of willing to purchase weather index insurance than the comparison group.

This study aims to analyze the causal relation between identity and school adaptation of multicultural family children, starting from necessity of empirical research considering insufficient preceding research. To achieve the purpose of the research, this study implemented empirical analysis regarding the causal relation between factors of self-identity and school adaptation. As a result, factors of self-identity implies significant effect on school regulations, while factors of school adaptation partially have an effect on school class and relations with a teacher and friend. Based on the result of verification, this study emphasizes teachers' effort as well as comprehensive and practical development of an educational program to help children from multicultural family establish the right self-identity for settling into school life. Moreover, the limitation of this study and future research direction is presented.

A rapidly aging Korean population highlights the importance of investigating the actual state and needs of clothing for the elderly to provide basic information for a future senior industry. This paper surveyed clothing purchasing behaviors. The sample of this survey consisted of 210 females aged 55 over who live in Dajeoun and Nonsan. The data were analyzed by using SPSS. The major findings are as follows. First, most elderly women have bought the ready-made clothes in local markets. Second, the major consideration of clothing purchasing behavior was the possibility of outdoor wearing and color. They were satisfied with ready-made clothes because of the convenience to buy, design, and the necessity of the clothing brands for aged people. Third, they preferred pure cotton or mixed cotton even though they possessed the mixed cotton or synthetic fiber in clothing materials. Respondents preferred the feeling, heat-retaining property, and absorptiveness in textiles. The result indicates the demand for various material applications of functional textiles for elderly women.

In previous fire accident of railway car, the fatality was relatively high by toxic gas poisoning cause of closed space. So the necessity of quantifying toxic gas in combustion gas was recognized and then, FT-IR spectroscopy was introduced for real-time analysis of mixed gases and stimulated analysis of the concentration of several gases. Thus, in this study, absorption bands using FT-IR were obtained by each component of combustion gases for interior materials of railway car such as flooring materials and moquette seat. And then the sample spectra were compared with the spectra of NO, $NO_2$, $SO_2$ reference gases, we could obtain some identical peaks of them.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of donors on the necessity of making improvements in accounting information system. Along with the increasing size and number of activities of nonprofit organizations, many people are more and more interested in their organizational efficiency and transparency. Accordingly, researchers and policy makers have focused on how to improve accounting information system and how to monitor nonprofits to efficiently obtain and use resources. We thus aim to provide some useful insights by analyzing the opinions of donors regarding the display of nonprofit statements, accounting system, and the intention of donation. Using survey data obtained from 263 respondents, we find that displaying functional expenses is considered to enhance the usefulness of financial reports. We also find that the filing and disclosure of financial reports is considered to be necessary. Respondents also require external audits, but not to the same extent as disclosure. Finally, respondents have a positive attitude toward making future donations.
