알루미나 기판에 스크린 프린팅된 Ag(Ta,Nb)O3 후막의 유전특성 및 초고주파 특성에 대한 연구 (An Investigation on the Dielectric and Microwave Properties of Ag(Ta,Nb)O3 Thick Films on the Alumina Substrates)

  • Perovskite niobates and tantalates have been placed on a short list of functional materials for future technologies. This article was investigated ferroelectric materials $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film. In this study, we have fabricated the $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film on the $Al_2O_3$ substrates by screen printing method. The $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1,150$^{\circ}C$, 2 hr. The electrical properties of $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film were investigated at 30~100$^{\circ}C$.

Characteristics of Nitrobenzene Degradation by Mycobacterium chelonae Strain NB01

  • A bacterial strain NB01, isolated from wastewater, was found to utilize nitrobenzene (NB) as the sole source of nitrogen, carbon, and energy. The strain was classified as a member of a high G+C Gram-positive group and identified as Mycobacterium chelonae based on an analysis of its 16S rRNA gene sequence. The strain grew on NB with a concomitant release of about 63% of the total available nitrogen as ammonia, suggesting a reductive degradation mechanism. The optimal pH and temperature for degradation were PH 7.0-8.0 and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. The cell growth was retarded at NB concentrations above 1.8 mM. The degradation of NB followed Michaelis-Menten kinetics within the tolerance range, and the $K_m$ and maximum specific removal rate for NB were 0.33 mM and $11.04\;h^{-1}$, respectively.

Nb-25 at%Al 혼합분말의 기계적 합금화 거동 (Alloying Behavior of Nb-25 at%Al Powder Mixtures by Mechanical Alloying)

  • To investigate the phase transformation behaviors of mechanically alloyed Nb-25 at%Al powders, the mixed Nb-25 at%Al powders were mechanically alloyed in SPEX 8000 Mixer/Mill. Mechanical alloying(MA) time was varied between 0.5 hour and 72 hours. The phase formation behaviors of these mechanically alloyed powders were examined using X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and differential thermal analysis(DTA). Appreciable amorphization started from 6 hours of MA. The powders mechanically alloyed for 10 hours were in almost amorphous phase. DTA results showed that the powders mechanically alloyed for 12 hours had a strong exothermic peak about$600^{\circ}C$, whereas the powders mechanically alloyed for 6 hours had two exothermic peaks. The first peak was found to be due to the stress relief effect and the second one due to the formation of$Nb_{3}Al,Nb_{2}Al and Nb_{2}C$phases by crystallization.

Zr, Zircaloy-4, Zr-Nb 합금의 미세조직 및 재결정 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recrystallization Behavior and Microstructure of Zr, Zircaloy-4 and Zr-Nb Alloys)

  • Zr 합금의 재결정 거동 및 미세조직 변화에 미치는 열처리 온도 및 시간의 영향의 조사하기위하여 순수 Zr과 Zircaloy-4, Zr-0.88n-0.4Nb-0.4Fe-0.2Cu, Zr-1Nb 합금을 냉간가공한 후 $400^{\circ}C$~$900^{\circ}C$에서 각각 30분~5000분 동안 열처리하였다. 열처리 온도에 따른 Zr합금의 경도, 미세조직 및 석출물 특성을 미소경도기, 광학 현미경 및 투과 전자 현미경을 이용하여 조사하였다. 냉간 가공채는 $400^{\circ}C$에서 $600^{\circ}C$ 범위에서 재결정이 일어났는 데 합금원소가 증가함에 따라 재결정온도가 상승했고 결정립 성장이 억제되었다. 그리고 합금원소 증가에 따른 경도증가 영향이 재결정 이후에도 지속되었다. 열처리 온도 및 시간에 비례하여 재결정 이후 결정립 크기는 증가한 반면 경도변화는 상대적으로 미미하였다. Fe나 Cu가 Zr에 첨가될 경우 회복중 경도증가가 수반되는데, 이는 회복중 생성과 관련이 있는 것으로 사료된다.

$OH^-$ 흡수밴드에 의한 $LiNbO_3$ 단결정의 격자결함에 관한 연구 (A study on the lattice defects in $LiNbO_3$ single crystal by crystal by $OH^-$ absorption band)

  • LiNbO_3$ 단결정의 광학소자 광도파관 등의 응용을 위하여는 빛의 조사에 따라 굴절률이 변하는 광손상을 극복하여야 한다. 이러한 광손상 극복은 LiNbO_3$ 에 MgO를 첨가한 단결정의 성장과 산처리를 통하여 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 LiNbO_3$ 의 광손상 극복 기구를 이해하기 위하여, FT-IR을 이용하여 LiNbO_3$ 단결정에 MgO 첨가와 산처리가 발생시키는 격자결함의 변화를 OH- 흡수밴드를 통하여 간접적으로 관찰하였다. 또한 액체 헬륨을 이용한 온도강하시 생기는 격자결함의 관찰과 산처리한 시편의 광택연마와 열처리에 따른 격자결함으 조사하였다. MgO 첨가는 LiNbO_3$ 격자내 $Mg_{Nb}^{2+}$ 결함을 발생시켜 광손상 저항을 증가시키며, 산처리는 결정표면의 산소층에 $H^+$이온이 침입하여 격자결함을 발생시키며, 이 격자결함은 $400^{\circ}C$이상에서 열처리하면 $H^+$가 결정내부로 확산하여 들어감을 확인하였다.

$1-xBiNbO_4-xZnNb_2O_6$ 세라믹스의 저온소결 및 유전특성 (Low-temperature sintering and dielectric properties of the $1-xBiNbO_4-xZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics)

  • Low-temperature sintering and dielectric properties of the $1-xBiNbO_4-xZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics (x=0.3, 0.5, and 0.7) with 10 wt% zinc borosilicate (ZBS) glass was investigated as a function of the substitution of $ZnNb_2O_6$ with a view to applying this system to LTCC technology. The all composition addition of 10 wt% ZBS glass ensured a successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. The the amount of $ZnNb_2O_6$ on $ZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics increased the $Q{\times}f$ values, but it decreased the sinterability and dielectric constant due to the higher $Q{\times}f$ value and sintering temperature of $ZnNb_2O_6$ than that of $ZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics. The increase of $ZnNb_2O_6$ content from 0.3 to 0.7 in the $1-xBiNbO_4-xZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics with 10 wt% ZBS glass sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ demonstrated 30~20 in the dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$), 3,500~4,500 GHz in the $Q{\times}f$ value.

(1-x)$BiNbO_4-(x)ZnNb_2O_6$ 세라믹스의 저온 소결 및 유전 특성 (Low-temperature sintering and dielectric properties of the (1-x)$BiNbO_4-(x)ZnNb_2O_6$ ceramics)

  • In this study, the microwave dielectric property variations of (1-x)$BiNbO_4-(x)ZnNb_2O_6$ composites (x=0.3, 0.5 and 0.7) with 10wt% zinc borosilicate(ZBS) glass was investigated as a function of the substitution of $ZnNb_2O_6$ with a view to applying thes system to LTCC technology. The all composition addition of 10wt% ZBS glass ensured a successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. In addition, a small amount of $Bi_2SiO_5$ as the secondary phase was observed in the all composition. The substitution of $ZnNb_2O_6$ on the $BiNbO_4$ composites increased the $Q{\times}f$ values, but it decreased the sinterability and dielectric constant due to the high sintering temperature and low dielectric constant of $ZnNb_2O_6\;than\;BiNbO_4$ ceramics. The increasing of $ZnNb_2O_6$ content from 0.3 to 0.7 in the (1-x)$BiNbO_4-(x)ZnNb_2O_6$ composites with 10wt% ZBS glass sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ demonstrated 28.1~15.6 in the dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}_r)$, 5,500~8,700GHz in the $Q{\times}f$ value.

기계적합금화로 제조된 Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb 합금에서 PCA로서 H2O의 역할과 시효석출거동 (The Role of H2O as PCA and the Precipitation Behavior in Mechanically Alloyed Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb Alloy)

  • The effect of use of $H_2O$ as PCA(process control agent) to prevent the carbon contamination during mechanical alloying process and the precipitation behavior in Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb bulk alloy after aging were investigated. NbC and $Cr_2O_3$ were formed during mechanical alloying and consolidation processes in the Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb alloy in which methanol($CH_3OH$) was added as PCA. Formation of NbC in this alloy decreased the amount of Nb dissolved in the Ni matrix. The use of $H_2O$ as PCA in Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb alloy prevented the formation of NbC and increased the hardness. The increase of hardness in this alloy was attributed to the increased amount of Nb dissolved in the Ni matrix. After aging treatment for 20 hours at $600^{\circ}C\;and\;720^{\circ}C$ of Ni-20Cr-20Fe-5Nb bulk alloy in which $H_2O$ added as PCA, ${\gamma}"$$(Ni_3Nb,\;tetragonal)\;and\;{\delta}\;(Ni_3Nb,\;orthorhombic)$ precipitates were formed, respectively. The precipitation temperatures of ${\gamma}"$ and ${\delta}$ in this bulk alloy were lower than those in commercial IN 718 alloy. It seemed that the lower precipitation temperatures for ${\gamma}"$ and ${\delta}$ in this bulk alloy than in commercial IN 718 alloy were due to severe plastic deformation during mechanical alloying.

SrWO$_4$가 첨가된 (Sr$_{1-x}$Bax)(Mg$_{1/3}$Nb$_{2/3}$)O$_3$의 마이크로파 유전특성 (Microwave Dielectric Properties of (Sr$_{1-x}$Bax)(Mg$_{1/3}$Nb$_{2/3}$)O$_3$ with SrWO$_4$ addition)

  • SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3의 마이크로파 유전특성에 관하여 조사하였다. 관찰된 조성영역에서 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3과 Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3은 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3고용체를 형성하고 SrWO4의 첨가는 고용체의 소결성을 향상시켜 소결온도 155$0^{\circ}C$에서 상대밀도 97% 이상을 얻었다. 소결한 시편의 EDS분석결과, SrWO4의 첨가량이 많은 시편에서 2차상이 존재하는 것을 알수 있었다. 순수한 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3에 SrWO4를 0.01 mole첨가하여 1550~1$600^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 시편의 유전특성은 $\varepsilon$r 30, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$ au$f -23 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다. 0.01 mole SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 고용체의 유전율과 온도계숙가 x에 따라 점차적으로 계속 증가하였고 Q$\times$fo는 x$\leq$0.25에서 x에 따라 감소하고 x$\geq$0.3에서 다시 증가하였다. (Sr0.65Ba0.35)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3+0.01SrWO4의 조성을 갖는 시편에서 $\varepsilon$r 34.4, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$\tau$f 0 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다.

Ti-30Ta-(3~15)Nb 합금에 HA/Ti 복합 코팅한 표면의 교류임피던스 특성 (A.C. Impedance Properties of HA/Ti Compound Layer coated Ti-30Ta-(3~15)Nb Alloys)

  • A.C. impedance properties of HA/Ti compound layer coated Ti-30Ta-($3{\sim}15$)Nb alloys have been studied by electrochemical method. Ti-30Ta binary alloys contained 3, 7, 10 and 15 wt% Nb were manufactured by the vacuum furnace system. And then specimen was homogenized at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 24 hrs. The sample was cut and polished for corrosion test and coating. It was coated with HA/Ti compound layer by magnetron sputter. The non-coated and coated morphology of Ti alloy were analyzed by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), energy X-ray dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) and filed emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM). The corrosion behaviors were investigated using A.C. impedance test (PARSTAT 2273, USA) in 0.9% NaCl solution at $36.5{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. Ti-30Ta-($3{\sim}15\;wt%$)Nb alloys showed the ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ phase, and $\beta$ phase peak was predominantly appeared in the case of increasingly Nb contents. The microstructures of Ti alloy were transformed from needle-like structure to equiaxed structure as Nb content increased. From the analysis of coating surface, HA/Ti composite surface uniformed coating layer with 750 nm thickness. The growth directions of film were (211), (112), (300) and (202) for HA/Ti composite coating on the surface after heat treatment at $550^{\circ}C$, whereas, the growth direction of film was (110) for Ti coating. The polarization resistance ($R_p$) of HA/Ti composite coated Ti-alloys were higher than those of the Ti and HA coated samples in 0.9% NaCl solution at $36.5{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. Especially, corrosion resistance of Ti-Ta-Nb system increased as Nb content increased.
