빛과 신명의 생태시학 -박두진의 자연시 연구- (Ecological Poetics of Light and Sinmyeong A Study on Park Dujin′s Nature Poems)

  • Park Dujin has written the nature poems through his keen sense for light and the emotion of Sinmyeong(the excited and enthusiastic mind) from his early poetry to his later poetry. His poetic emotions, with the periods of his composition of poems, are expressed in the juxtaposition of the waiting for something or the existential agony with the devout faith. But he has pursued tile monistic nature through the emotion of light and Sinmeoung. Therefore all his poems are characterized as the nature poems which expose the artistic wholeness transcending the ideology and spirit of his times. Up to the present, Korean ecological poems have been absorbed in examining and criticizing the crisis for the environmental pollution and the destruction of ecosystem. Therefore Korean ecological poems could not get out of the dualistic ecological consciousness of the opposing environment confronting between man and nature. The ecological peculiarity in Park Dujin's nature poems is not the level of the man-oriented environment or bioecology but the monistic nature which man and nature are unified. This fact can be said to be caused by the approach to the objects on the basis of the sense for light and the emotion of Sinmyeong which perceive the transcendental nature.

  • 1. Objectives This research is purposed to find Lee Je-Ma's thought on Inclination of Mind(心慾) and Nature & Emotion(性情), through summarizing sentences related to Inclination of Mind(心慾) and Nature & Emotion(性情) proposed in the chief writings on Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 2. Methods It was researched bibliologically with Lee Je-Ma's chief writings such as "Gyukchigo (Draft on Inquiring the Properties of Things, 格致藁)", "Dongyi Suse Bowon Sasang Chobongyun(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)" "Dongyi Suse Bowon (Longevity and Life Preservation in Oriental Medicine, 東醫壽世保元)". 3. Results and Conclusions (1) Lee Je-Ma's Mind(心) is the dimension of the Great Absolute(Taegeuk,太極), and is related with Benevolence-Righteousness-Propriety-Wisdom(仁義禮智) (2) Human being is classified Taeyangin(太陽人), Taeumin(太陰人), Soyangin(少陽人), Soeumin(少陰人) by SungLi(性理), and The Mean(鄙人), TheWeek(薄人), The Avaricious(貪人), The Sycophantic(懦人) by JungYok(情慾) in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. (3) Nature & Emotion(性情) of Sorrow-Anger-Joy-Pleasure(喜怒哀樂) is divided into two function. One is native function related with SungLi(性理), the other is acquired function related with JungYok(情慾). Also all two native and acquired function is related with Benevolence-Righteousness-Propriety-Wisdom(仁義禮智). (4) The Mean(鄙人), The Week(薄人), The Avaricious(貪人), The Sycophantic(懦人) may be defined as the state of Inclination of Mind(心慾) of Taeyangin(太陽人), Taeumin(太陰人), Soyangin(少陽人), Soeumin(少陰人) by function of acquired Emotion(情).

사상의학(四象醫學)의 병인(病因)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察) (The Study on the Chronical Concept of Etiology in Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM))

  • 1. Objectives This research was proposed to find out the chronical concept of etiology in Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM). 2. Methods The related contents of etiology were selected in Je-Ma Lee's literatures such as "Donguisusebowon-SaSangchobongyun(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)"(DSS), "Donguisusebowon-GabObon(東醫壽世保元甲午本)"(DGO), " Donguisusebowon-ShinChukbon(東醫壽世保元辛丑本)"(DSC), and the research was written in order ro find out the chronical change of etiologic concept in SCM. 3. Results and Conclusions The chronical concept of etiology in SCM was as follows : There were comments that the cause of diseases was the imbalanced nature and emotion(性情偏急), the fault of human relationship(人事), and alcohol-sex-wealth-power(酒色財權) in DSS, and the imbalanced nature and emotion, exopathogen(外感), and endopathogen(內觸) in DGO In the last, the causes of disease was set to the imbalanced nature and emotion in DSC.

  • 1. Objectives The purpose of this case is to report that a Soeumin patient with cognitive disorder from traumatic head injury needed to be managed with the consideration of the difference of Nature and Emotion(性情). 2. Methods To evaluate the patient's cognition disorder and mental state, we performed the MMSE(Mini-Mental State Examination) and the MMPI(Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory). and he was diagnosed as Soeumin and treated by Kwakhyangchungki-san(藿香正氣散) mainly. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) In this case, we observed specifically-biased Nature and Emotion(性情) of Soeumin like ‘恒欲處而不欲出’, ‘恒欲爲雌而不欲爲雄’, ‘喜別人之助己也’. ‘喜好不定’, ‘不安定之心’ (2) The management of Soeumin with cognitive disorder from traumatic head injury is that he or she should live together his or her family, and have an active manner with a generous and broad-minded mental attitude. (3) A therapist must give a patient mental support and inspire him or her with courage. (4) The deviation of Nature and Emotion(性情) should be taken into consideration when we manage the patient with cognitive disorder from traumatic head injury.

  • Objectives : This study aimed investigation of mutual relation to a psychosomatic disorder and Sasang Constitutinal Medicine. Results : 1. A view of the body and mind, Sasang Constitutinal Medicine is similar to Mind-Body Medicine that a thought of the mind is the central idea. But a viewpoint of the mind to Sasang Constitutinal Medicine is based on Confucianism idea 2. The Nature and Emotion(性情)-a symbol of Happiness, Anger, Sorrow joy(喜怒哀樂) show a characteristic of man relate to an attack of a disease also take a disease itself. But Mind-Body Medicine recognize an attack of a disease caused only by the mind. 3. Sasang Constitutinal Medicine emphasize the care of health by respective The Nature and Emotion(性情) to the treatment and prevention of disease and drug therapy is an assistant. This is similar to an important meaning at psycho therapy-suggestive therapy, autogenic training, relaxation training etc in Mind-Body Medicine. Conclusions : Therefore, Sasang Constitutinal Medicine's clinical use in aspect of psychiatry, must to study human nature regard to korean traditional thought-Confucianism idea

율곡철학(栗谷哲學)에 있어서 '마음'의 문제 (The Issue of Mind in Youlgok's Philosophy)

  • 율곡의 마음에 대한 논의는 '심성정의일로설(心性情意一路說)'과 '기발이승일도설(氣發理乘一途說)'로 대변된다. 심성정의일로설(心性情意一路說)은 두 의미를 지닌다. 첫째, 마음과 본성 감정 의지는 각각 별도의 존재가 아니라, 하나의 마음에 속하는 여러 차원의 양상들이라는 것이다. 둘째, '인심과 도심, 본연지성과 기질지성, 사단과 칠정' 등을 각각 이원적으로 대립시키지 않고 일원적으로 통합시켰다는 것이다. 기발이승일도설(氣發理乘一途說)은 이(理)의 규범성과 기(氣)의 능동성이라는 관점에서 마음과 본성 감정의 관계를 설명한 것이다. 율곡은 기(氣)(마음)는 '발(發)하는 작용의 주체'이고, 이(理)(성(性))는 '마음의 작용을 통해 발현되는 내용'이라 하였다. 이렇게 마음의 작용을 통해 본성이 발한 결과를 감정이라 한다. 율곡의 '이승(理乘)'은 '기(氣)를 주재한다(기(氣)의 표준이 된다)'는 의미와 함께 '기(氣)에 의해 실현된다'는 의미를 지닌다. 요컨대 마음은 본성을 실현하는 주체이지만, 또한 마음의 작용은 본성에 의해 규제되고 있다는 것이다. 이처럼 이(理)(본성)의 규범성과 기(氣)(마음)의 능동성을 동시에 주목하는 것이 율곡철학의 특징이었다.

  • The present study examined internal environment where the size of internal organs (廳服大小) of Taesoeumyang persons (太少陰陽人) is decided focused on nature and emotion (性情), taking note that there is a difference between the parts triggering the rise and fall (升降) of the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure (哀怒喜樂之氣) of nature and emotion(性情) and the parts expressing the results. Because nature energy is incoming energy (順動之氣), it infuses energy to parts where the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure reaches and, as a result, forms relatively large-size organs (偏大之臟). When the energy of the four internal organs is produced, the soul, spirit, mind and life (神靈魂?) of the internal organs, which are triggered by outgoing energy, are consumed and as a result emotion is produced at parts where the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure reaches. It forms relatively small-size organs (偏小之臟). This study examined the process, focused on the direction of the energy of the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure moving up straight, moving up diagonally, moving down diagonally and moving down straight.

사상의학(四象醫學)에서 기(氣)는 어떤 의미를 가지는가? (What is the Meaning of Qi in Sasang Constitutional Medicine?)

  • 1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to find the kinds & meaninings of Qi in Lee Je-Ma's writings. 2. Methods We analyzed Lee Je-Ma's writings which contain the related contents of Qi's kinds & meanings 3. Results and Conclusions 1) There are distinctive Qi features of $sorrow{\cdot}anger{\cdot}joy{\cdot}pleasure$(哀怒僖樂) which are different from one of seven mode emotions(七情) in ${\ulcorner}$Gyukchigo(格致藁)${\lrcorner}$. 2) When $Water{\cdot}grain's$ Qi(臟氣) is the base of the human's Qi, $Nature{\cdot}emotion's$ Qi(性${\cdot}$情氣) is managing. And $Lung{\cdot}Spleen{\cdot}Liver{\cdot}Kidneys's$ Qi(肺脾肝腎氣) is the representative concept resulted by the complex operation of $Water{\cdot}grain's$ Qi(水穀之氣) and $Nature{\cdot}emotion's$ Qi. Each Qi stands for its protensity as follows ; Lung's Qi for extrorse propensity of Yang(Z), Spleen's Qi for upward propensity of Yang(陽), Liver's Qi for introrse propensity of Eum(陰), Kidneys's Qi for downward propensity of Eum(陰). 3) Jang's Qi is more important than medicine's Qi and medicine's Qi has a limitation about recovering jang's Qi. So that it is very important to take care of one's mind. 4) Controling mind Qi is controling Nature & emotion's Qi. Thus controling mind Qi si the best plan for jang's Qi and controling with medicine's Qi is the next policy. 5) Qi influences all aspect of personality, disease, application of medicines and ordinary symptoms. So that Qi is the kernel of the Sasang Constitutional Medicine.

  • New paradigm of modern society today - environmentally sound and sustainable development - led to the attempt on the introduction of natural elements in various spaces by people's interest in the quality of life. As one of the distinguished space marketing in designing the outer space of resort, this plan attempts to limit artificial boundary within open scenery, thus creating nature within nature - interior theme garden. In addition, this plan is aimed to obtain location property of inner garden through limited boundary, to promote the identity of resort by endowing it with new values in space and to form emotion care garden and culture garden for users. The plan has proceeded under the following concepts. 1) Differentiation from outer space has been made by creating a theme garden with unique theme garden - landscape elements and an attempt have been made to increase the values of interior garden through the introduction of new species of plants and the state-of-the-art facilities. 2) Emotion care garden - The garden has been created to get emotion purified systematically within nature and let people take a rest and enjoy their spare time. 3) Culture garden - The garden has been planned where culture could be created through various experience activities as a space with education and entertainment by providing a variety of interesting elements.

부모상위정서철학이 학령기 아동의 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향: 아동의 정서조절능력의 매개효과 검증 (The Influence of Parental Meta-Emotion Philosophy on Children's Social Competence: The Mediating Effect of Children's Emotion Regulation)

  • This study created a structural model of the influence of paternal and maternal meta-emotion philosophy and children's emotion regulation in terms of their social competence and confirmed the nature of the relationship among the variables. For the purpose of this study, data was collected, targeting 363 children in the $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ elementary school grades from schools located in Seoul. The main results of this study were as follows: First, both paternal and maternal meta-emotion philosophy had an influence on children's emotion regulation and emotion dysregulation. Next, paternal and maternal meta-emotion philosophy did not appear to have a significant influence on children's social competence in a direct manner. The complete mediation effect of emotion regulation in regards to the influence of paternal and maternal meta-emotion philosophy upon children's social competence was confirmed. It was also found that parental meta-emotion philosophy had an influence upon children's social competence in an indirect manner through children's emotion regulation in the period of middle childhood.
