평소 학습과 시험 상황에서 초등학생의 인지 전략과 메타인지 전략의 사용 (The Use of Cognitive and Metacognitive Strategies of Elementary School Students in the Learning and Testing Situations)

  • 본 연구에서는 초등학생들의 평소 학습과 시험 상황에서의 인지 전략 및 메타인지 전략 사용을 성취 수준, 동기 수준 및 성에 따라 비교하고, 이들 전략과 학업 성취도, 동기와의 관계를 분석한 후 학업 성취도에 대해 설명력이 큰 학습 전략을 조사하였다. 성취도 상위 집단 학생들은 평소 학습에서 인지 및 메타인지 전략을 하위 집단에 비하여 더 많이 사용하였으며, 시험 상황에서는 인지 전략의 사용을 하위 집단보다 더 많이 하였다. 학습 동기 수준이 높은 학생들은 평소 및 시험 상황에서 인지 전략과 메타인지 전략을 하위 수준의 학생들보다 더 많이 사용하였다. 여학생이 남학생에 비하여 평소 학습에서 전략 사용을 활발히 하는 반면 시험 상황에서는 인지 및 메타인지 전략 사용에서 성차가 없었다. 학업 성취도 및 동기와 이들 학습 전략들과의 상관은 모두 유의미하였다. 중다회귀분석 결과, 평소 학습에서 사용하는 인지 전략이 학업 성취도에 대한 가장 큰 설명력을 지니는 것으로 나타났다.

개념분석 전략에 관한 문헌고찰 연구 (A Review Study on the Strategies for Concept Analysis)

  • Purpose: Concept analysis is an essential part of theory development in nursing. Thus, many strategies or methods of concept analysis have been suggested in nursing literature. However, in Korea, only limited strategies were utilized, without much consideration on a wide range of strategies in choosing a method that coincides with the characteristics of each concept to analyze The purpose of this article was to propose various strategies for concept analysis. Method: A literature review method was used. Result: Ten methods of concept analysis were identified in the literature, and they were evaluated for advantages and limitations, In addition to the method by Walker and Avant and a hybrid model, more advanced strategies, such as triangulation method, critical analysis and the feminist approach were introduced and described in detail. The examples used in each concept analysis method were presented in table to provide the extent of utilization of each method. Conclusion: This article provides a wide range of strategies in identifying, clarifying, or elaborating a concept. It might help in choosing a method that best fits the concept to analyze, thus enhancing quality of concept analysis research.

농촌관광마을 경쟁전략 (A Qualitative Research on Competitiveness Strategies for Rural Tourism Destination)

  • Competitiveness strategies has been associated in the tourism literature as a crucial factor for the success of tourist. The study aims to explore the competitiveness strategies for tourism destinations by conducting in-depth interviews with probe questions. Thirteen community enterprises' managers in rural tourism communities were interviewed with a semi-structured interview questionnaire for one or two hours. From the interview data, eight themes in two dimensions were identified as competitiveness strategies of rural community enterprises in rural Korea. Differentiation strategies consist of new product development, service improvement, brand image improvement, advertise and public relation, and concentration. Cost leadership dimension includes cost reduction, increasing benefit, and long-term investment. The findings of this paper implicate the underlying the competitiveness strategies from managers' perspective.

서비스 부문의 기술혁신목적별 정부 지원제도의 활용도 분석 연구 (Data Mining for the Effectiveness of Government Support Strategies for Technology Innovation in Service Sectors)

  • In today's competitive global environment, technological innovation is an important issue. Many countries are devising national level strategies to further strengthen industrial capacity in support of innovative companies. South Korea is no exception, and multiple strategies are in place to aid innovative development in the private sector. This study postulates that such national level strategies are applied differently depending on the innovation goal pursued by the service sector in Korea. We use data mining methods to test such research hypothesis. Factor analysis is used for clustering of various service companies, while association rule is used in finding the relationship per each cluster. The results show that national level strategies are underutilized and unequally distributed. This may be attributed to the disparity between the demand and needs of the private sector and the opinion of the government, which lead to underutilized and indistinguishable strategies.

  • Within the article, strategic guidelines for the modernization of microeconomic systems are identified. Modernization levels of the potential implementation are formalized for enterprises: contractile, extensive technical, technological, progressive, adaptive, steady, intensive, creative, absolute and leader modernization. This allowed to specify the directions and tasks of the enterprise modernization at different management levels. Accordingly, the conditions and criteria for selecting resource tools are set. It is proved that the strategies of the potential modernization of enterprises must be carried out at four main management levels: first, at the enterprise level; secondly, for a particular type of product / service; third, by functional directions of modernization of separate spheres of the enterprise activity or responsibility, fourth, at the level of structural units of the enterprise. It is substantiated that in the processes due to the activation of the potential modernization, the resources are transformed into the results of the innovation implementation and the investment strategies modernization. A system of tasks for the corporate strategies implementation in order to modernize microeconomic systems has been formed. Key vectors of the activation determine the nature and properties of investment resources and necessary innovations to enhance the modernization potential. Therefore, the system of innovation and investment strategies' modernization, based on the vector and resource provision of the modernization process, is specified:

  • This paper is aimed to evaluate the communicative competence of Korean EFL learners through the Discourse Completion Tasks(DCT) analysis. The present study has three purposes. The first purpose is to analyse English textbooks on the basis of thanking strategies, apologizing strategies, and requesting and offering strategies presented in Aijmer(1996). The second purpose is to analyse the discourse completion data collected from Korean middle school students and university students. The third one is to suggest the discourse syllabus model for the 8th national curriculum in Korea.

과제 및 기질에 따른 유아의 스트레스 대처 전략 (A Study of Preschooler's Stress Coping Strategies Depending on Task and Temperament)

  • This study investigated 3- and 5-year-old preschoolers' stress coping strategies depending on tasks, and whether preschoolers' stress coping strategies in each task depended on their temperament types. Subjects were 96 3- and 5-year-old preschoolers selected from three day-care centers in Seoul, Kounggi. A Parent Temperament Questionnaire for preschooler was used, and the coping strategies which each preschooler showed in task with perceived controllable, task with perceived uncontrollable were recorded by a video camera. Preschoolers' stress coping strategies recorded by a video camera were transcribed and analyzed according to the categories the researcher generated. Data were analyzed by paired t-tests and t-tests. As a results, there was a significant differences in preschoolers' stress coping strategies depending on the tasks and a significant temperament type difference in the preschoolers' stress coping strategies in each task.

프로그램 교육목표 개선을 위한 수행문제분석 및 추진전략 수립 (Performance Problems Analysis and Establishment of Action Strategies for Program Educational Objective Improvement)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze performance problems in establishing and improving program educational objectives (PEO) and to set up action strategies for the civil engineering program at the A university. To fulfill the purpose, according to the typical needs analysis model, research problems were defined, current conditions and desired conditions were identified, discrepancies and their reasons were examined, and action strategies were derived. Current conditions and desired conditions were identified by analyzing the A civil engineering program's self study report, conducting surveys and interviews with constituents. After the discrepancies and the reasons were examined, performance problems and field force analysis were conducted to draw short term and long term action strategies to improve PEO. Short term action strategies were to announce PEO to current students, to hold faculty seminars to establish and to improve PEO, to renew the list of constituents regularly, to composite an annual milestone, to define roles of the committees, and to enforce educational opportunity toward industrial advisory board members. For the long term strategies, improvement and documentation of PEO assessment system, collection and analysis of constituents' suggestions, establishment of effective accreditation support system, and arrangement of compensation system for the faculties who are in charge of engineering education accreditation responsibility.

위기 상황에의 대처 전략을 통한 초등교사들의 과학에 대한 인식론적 신념 연구 (An Investigation of Elementary School Teachers' Epistemological Beliefs about Science on the Bases of Their Strategies for Coping with Critical Incidents)

  • In this study, we examined the types and the characteristics of elementary school teachers' strategies for coping with critical incidents in science classes. Teachers' epistemological beliefs about science were then investigated on the bases of the types of their coping strategies. The teachers (N=107) in 23 elementary schools were asked to respond to an open-ended question about the critical incidents they had experienced in science classes and how to cope with them. Seven types of coping strategies were identified as follows: avoiding, reinterpretation, adjusting, prevaricating, justifying, exploring, and explaining. Among them, adjusting and justifying were the major strategies. In order to classify teachers' epistemological beliefs about science, their coping strategies were grouped into four categories such as transferring facts, constructing facts, transferring meanings, and constructing meanings. The results indicated that most teachers still possessed traditional epistemological beliefs about science. The potential of critical incidents as a probe for revealing teachers' epistemological beliefs about science is discussed.

ADHD 유아에 대한 일반유아의 성별 상호작용 전략 탐구 (An Inquiry into Typically Developing Children's Interaction Strategies with Young Children with ADHD According to Gender)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction strategies used by typically developing boys and girls in their dealings with young children with ADHD in free play situations in inclusive classes. This was done in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the meaning of their interaction strategies. The subjects were 52 typically developing children (comprising 27 boys, 25 girls) and 3 young children with ADHD. The findings were as follows : First, the overall frequency of interaction strategies with the young children with ADHD was greater among the young female children (n = 372) than the young male children (n = 298). Second, when the utterance strategies of the male and female children were sub-categorized, both the male children (79.5%) and the female children (57.0%) mostly made use of avoidance strategies, one of the typical withdrawal strategies. Third, the interaction strategy of control represented 42.0 percent and as such was identified as the most prevalent interaction strategy utilized by the young male children studied. In the case of the young female children, obliging strategies were the most common interaction strategies representing 33.1 percent of the total used. In the light of the findings yielded from this study, some educational recommendations are provided.
