In this paper, a multi-adaptive filter is proposed for removing EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from EEG measured in the frontal lobe and the feedback output control method is implemented for biofeedback. The multi-adaptive filter has been implemented on the TMS320C6711 DSP system and the feedback output control algorithm has been realized by calculating the ratio of alpha wave on the TMS320C31 DSP system with real time performance. Through the experiment using the implemented multi-adaptive filter and feedback output controller, we demonstrate that the proposed adaptive filter effectively removes EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from the measured EEG in the frontal lobe and the feedback algorithm controls the level of stimulation by the ratio of the alpha wave.

Cargo tracking issue on train transportation is challenging area because of long distance haulage, theft, terror attack and customer service. This paper aims at evaluating various cargo tracking systems in terms of cost and technology. The contents of this paper consist of the research trend of cargo tracking system in the railroad transportation and reviewing of technical alternatives in cost and service side. GNSS and RFID are reviewed as location tracking technology, Internet and Satellite technology like INMASAT and Low Earth Orbit are also reviewed as communication infrastructure. This paper selects cost and service factors in two alternatives of GNSS-Satellite and RFID-Internet, among GNSS-Internet, GNSS, Satellite, RFID-Internet, RFID-Satellite and evaluate each alternative in terms of cost and service. In a result, in terms of cost, RFID-Internet type is superior to GNSS-Satellite type, but in service GNSS-Satellite type is preferred to RFID-Internet in point of area coverage and service coverage.

Ga-doped and Al-doped ZnO thin films were fabricated via a sol-gel technique and electrical and optical properties of the films were investigated. Film deposition was performed by spin coating at 4000 rpm for 30 s on $SiO_2$ glass substrate FE-SEM was used to obtain the surface morphology images and the film thickness Four-point probe and UV-VIS spectrophotometer were used to measure the sheet resistance and the optical transparency, respectively.

Triadenum breviflorum (Wallich ex Dyer) Y. Kimura in Nakai & Honda (Hypericaceae), previously known only in northeast India, China and Taiwan, was found in a few wetlands of Jeju Island in 2008. Additionally, some images online of T. breviflorum suggest that it exists in other places on the Korean peninsula but that it has been misidentified as Triadenum japonicum. This species is distinguished from the latter by white petals, inflorescence from nodes 6-11, linear to narrowly elliptic leaves, and an attenuated base. The local name Huin-kkot-mul-go-chu-na-mul implies a white flower rather than the flesh-pink color of T. japonicum. The morphological characteristics of the species are provided with photographs of the habitat.

For statistical microarray data analysis, clustering analysis is a useful exploratory technique and offers the promise of simultaneously studying the variation of many genes. However, most of the proposed clustering methods are not rigorously solved for a time-course microarray data cluster and for a fitting time covariate; therefore, a statistical method is needed to form a cluster and represent a linear trend of each cluster for each gene. In this research, we developed a modified hierarchical mixture of an experts model to suggest clustering data and characterize each cluster using a linear mixed effect model. The feasibility of the proposed method is illustrated by an application to the human fibroblast data suggested by Iyer et al. (1999).

Bowlesia incana Ruiz & Pav., a new invasive alien plant in Korea, was found in Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City. This species is characterized as being similar to the genera Hydrocotyle Tourn. ex L. and Centella L. However, it differs morphologically from these two genera in leaves, flowers, and fruits, as well as stellate pubescence growing on the whole plant. In Korea, Bowlesia incana Ruiz & Pav. is recorded for the first time in this study. A morphological description, distribution map, and illustrations based on the Korean materials collected are presented.

For the psychophysical experiment of tactile perception of shapes, experimental system consists of vibrator, tactile stimulation array, measurement and control system is designed and prepared. The psychophysical experiment for the tactile perception of shape is carried out by the estimation of the subject group. Through the experiment the threshold of tactile perception to multi-stimuli with some line shape is obtained. Also the appropriate tactile stimulus intensity and frequency of the tactile stimulation array to recognize arbitrary shapes effectively are derived and discussed.

Apo, holo, native-type of lactoferrin showed a similar pattern of circular dichroism(CD) spectra. Lactoferrin appeared to interact more easily with negatively charged liposome than neutral liposome. Holo-type of lactoferrin showed the highest degree of leakage, whereas apo-type of lactoferrin showed the lowest level of leakage. Holo-type lactoferrin could more easily interact with phospholipid liposomes than apo-type lactoferrin, when used as an artificial membrane.
