  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to delineate the effects of organizational injustice on negative behaviors of employees with the mediating effects of trust. Methods: A survey was conducted among 550 nurses in 11 departments of 3 hospitals located in the Pohang area. Data were analyzed using frequency, descriptive statistics. correlation coefficients, regression analysis. Results: Procedural injustice (${\beta}$=-.48, p<.001) had the greatest negative effect on organizational trust, followed by interactional injustice(${\beta}$=-.15, p<.001) and distributive injustice(${\beta}$=-.14, p<.001). For supervisor trust, both procedural (${\beta}$=-.11, p=.006) and interactional (${\beta}$=-.63, p<.001) injustice had a negative effect. While supervisor trust (${\beta}$=-.28, p<.001) had greater negative effects on organizational negative behaviors of nurses compared to organizational trust (${\beta}$=-.21, p<.001), supervisor trust (${\beta}$=-.29, p<.001) had negative effects on personal negative behaviors but organizational trust had no significant effect on personal negative behaviors. Conclusion: To reduce the negative organizational behaviors of nurses, an organizational effort is needed to reduce procedural injustice by introducing fair organizational management and to reduce interactional injustice through formal or informal communication channels between supervisors and nurses.

  • On the Inherent (non-) Negativity of Negative Sensitive Items. This paper explores the idea that Korean Negative Sensitive Items, which are better viewed as Negative Concord Items (NCIs) (Kim 2001, 2006, Watanabe 2004), should not be construed as inherently negative in spite of the fact that NCIs are able to appear as an elided form without the presence of a negative licenser. Among several diagnostics, which are designed to draw syntactic and semantic distinctions between traditional Negative Polarity Items (NPIs) and NCIs employed in previous studies, the ability of an NCI to appear as a fragment answer raises the question of whether the negativity of NCIs is inherent or not. Contrary to Kim (2001, 2006) and Watanabe (2004), who are in favor of the inherent negativity of NCIs, I claim that non-negative Korean NCIs still need contentful negation to be licensed, and therefore their ability to appear as a fragment answer should be considered as a matter of ellipsis, in support of Giannakidou (2000, 2006). The main argument will be strengthened by the fact that Korean NCIs do not express negative meaning themselves, and that double negation readings are not allowed no matter how many NCIs occur simultaneously.

  • In the school mathematics, the negative numbers have been instructed by means of intuitive models(concrete situation models, number line model, colour counter model), inductive-extrapolation approach, and the formal approach using the inverse operation relations. These instructions on the negative numbers have caused students to have the difficulty in understanding especially why the rules of signs hold. It is due to the fact that those models are complicated, inconsistent, and incomplete. So, students usually should memorize the sign rules. In this study we studied on the didactical phenomenology of the negative numbers as a foundational study for the improvement of teaching negative numbers. First, we analysed the formal nature of the negative numbers and the cognitive obstructions which have showed up in the historic-genetic process of them. Second, we investigated what the middle school students know about the negative numbers and their operations, which they have learned according to the current national curriculum. The results showed that the degree they understand the reasons why the sign rules hold was low Third, we instructed the middle school students about the negative number and its operations using the formal approach as Freudenthal suggest ed. And we investigated whether students understand the formal approach or not. And we analysed the validity of the new teaching method of the negative numbers. The results showed that students didn't understand the formal approach well. And finally we discussed the directions for improving the instruction of the negative numbers on the ground of these didactical phenomenological analysis.

  • In school mathematics, the negative numbers have been instructed using the intuitive models such as the number line model, the counting model, and inductive-extrapolation on the additionand multiplication and using inverse operation on the subtraction and division. Theseinstructions on the negative numbers did not present their formal nature and caused the difficulty for students to understand their operations because of the incomplete function of the intuitive models. In this study, we tried to improve such problems of the instructions of the negative numbers on the basis of the didactical phenomenological analysis. First of all, we analysed the nature of the negative numbers and the cognitive obstructions through the examination about the historic process of them. Second, we examined hew the nature of the negative numbers were analysed and described in mathematics. Third, we explored the improving directions for them on the ground of the didactical phenomenological analysis. In school mathematics, the rules of operations using the intuitive models of the negative numbers have been Instructed rather than approaching toward the nature of them. The negative numbers have been developed from the necessity to find the general solution of equations. The study tries to approach the operations instructions of the negative numbers formative]y to overcome the problems of those that are using the intuitive models and to reflect the formative Furthermore of the negative numbers. Furthermore, we examine the way of the instruction of the negative numbers in real context so that the algebraic feature and the real context should be Interactive.

  • The aim of this study is to fill gaps in emerging empirical evidence and negative electronic word of mouth (NeWOM) in repurchase intention (RI) moderated by the roles of social network sites (SNS) and company mitigation response (CMR). This type of research is descriptive. The sample used in this study is online consumers who buy energy drinks, based on the questionnaire obtained by 145 respondents. Based on the results of testing the estimation of the structural equation model, it was found that the negative variable brand experience sharing had no significant effect on NeWOM; the negative variable electronic reviews had a significant effect on the electronic word of mouth variable, the negative variable electronic reviews had a significant effect on the negative electronic variable word of mouth, the variable intensity of the use of social networking sites can strengthen the direction of the causal influence between the negative variables sharing brand experiences on negative electronic words of mouth. The variable social networking sites usage intensity can strengthen the direction of the effect of causality between negative electronic review variables on negative electronic word of mouth, the negative brand experience sharing variable does not have a significant effect on the repurchase intention variable.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-compassion and binge eating and to examine the mediating effects of negative affect and negative urgency. To validify this hypothesis, 441 college and graduate students were measured self-compassion, negative affect, negative urgency, and binge eating. For the collected data, SPSS(23.0) and AMOS(23.0) were used for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and analyzing the structural equation model. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the correlation analysis showed significant correlations among self-compassion, negative affect, negative urgency, and binge eating. Second, in the relationship between self-compassion and binge eating, negative affect and negative urgency showed serial mediating effects. This means that for college and graduate students, the promotion of self-compassion can reduce binge eating behavior by sequentially reducing negative emotions and negative urgency. Finally based on these results, practical applications of self-compassion in the treatment of binge eating behavior were proposed.

  • In this paper we define extended negative quadrant dependence which is weaker negative quadrant dependence and show conditions for having extended negative quadrant dependence property. We also derive generalized Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern uniform distributions that possess the extended quadrant dependence property.

  • In this paper, we study a family of continuous bivariate distributions that possesses the negative quadrant dependence property and the generalized negatively quadrant dependent F-G-M copula. We also develop the partial ordering of this new parametric family of negative quadrant dependent distributions.
