In this paper, the negative Polya-Eggenberger distribution has been introduced by compounding negative binomial distribution with beta distribution of I-kind which generates a number of univariate contagious or compound (or mixture of) distributions as its particular cases. The distribution is unimode, over dispersed and all of its positive and negative integer moments exist. The difference equation of the proposed model shows that it is a member of the Ord's family of distribution. Some of its interesting properties have been explored besides different methods of estimation been discussed. Finally, the parameters of the proposed model have been estimated by using a computer programme in R-software. Application of the proposed model to some data, available in the literature, has been given and its goodness of fit demonstrated.

다변량 금융시계열의 변동성분석을 다변량 기법인 정준상관분석(canonocal correaltion analysis)을 이용해 분석하였다. 변동성의 특성상 계수들이 비음(non-negative)인 정준상관분석, 즉, non-negative and sparse canonical correlation analysis (NSCCA)를 이용해 보았다. 본 논문은 다변량 시계열의 변동성 커브에 대해 연구하고 있으며 제시된 방법론을 이변량 주식자료분석을 통해 예시해 보았다.

We systematically investigated the negative-refraction effect for both TE and TM polarizations in annular photonic crystals. Since two polarization waves are excited in different bands, they result in different refractive angles, and so polarization beam splitters can be made of annular photonic crystals. It was found that, in comparison to normal square-lattice air-hole photonic crystals, annular photonic crystals have a much wider common frequency band between TE-1 and TM-2, which is quite beneficial to finding the overlap between the negative-refraction regions belonging to TE-1 and TM-2 respectively. Further analyses of equifrequency surfaces and the electric-field distribution of annular photonic crystals with different parameters have not only demonstrated how the filling factor of annular cells affects the formation of the common negative-refraction region between TE-1 and TM-2, but also revealed some ways to improve the performance of a polarization beam splitter based on the negative-refraction effect in an annular photonic crystal.

A new reset waveform with negative ramp pulse was proposed. Comparative experiments between the negative and positive waveforms were performed. During reset period, IR distributions and luminance of black and white conditions were measured with the 42-inch XGA PDP module. The negative waveform improved contrast ratio about 15.4 ~ 22.5 % than the positive waveform by lowing the black luminance in reset period. Z bias (= Vbb) of the positive waveform was 27 V higher than the negative waveform.

If is interested and create rule between it in item that association rules buys, by negative association rules is interested to item that do not buy, it is attempt to do data Maining more effectively. It is difficult that existent methods to find negative association rules find one part of rule, or negative association rules because use more complicated algorithm than algorithm that find association rules. Therefore, this paper presents method to create negative association rules by simpler process using Boolean Analyzer that use dependency between items. And as Boolean Analyzer through an experiment, show that can find negative association rules and more various rule through comparison with other algorithm.

In this study, focusing of ultrasonic Lamb wave by negative refraction with mode conversion from antisymmetric to symmetric mode was investigated. When a wave propagates backward by negative refraction, the energy flux is antiparallel to the phase velocity. Backward propagation of Lamb wave is quite well known, but the behavior of backward Lamb wave at an interface has rarely been investigated. A pin-type transducer is used to detect Lamb wave propagating on a steel plate with a step change in thickness. Conversion from forward to backward propagating mode leads to negative refraction and thus wave focusing. By comparing the amplitudes of received Lamb waves at a specific frequency measured at different distance between transmitter and interface, the focusing of Lamb wave due to negative refraction was confirmed.

Purpose - This study aims to find out what impacts large retailers' behaviors appearing when they promote the strengthening of their market dominating power in the trade relations with small and medium suppliers or in the market can have on consumers. Research design, data, methodology - This study analyzed negative information (news) on large retailers (Lotte Mart, E-Mart and Homeplus) based on the monthly data over the past five years from 2008 to 2012 and also analyzed the correlation between dependent variables that are likely to affect sales through large retailer economic index, Results - This study conducted a correlation analysis on the time lag of the factors that have an impact on the negative information and sales of large retailers in order to analyze how consumers respond to the choice of large retailers' store (store sales) when they perceived negative information about the un- ethical behaviors of large retailers. Conclusions - Unfair and negative information on large retailers appeared significant for the hypothesis that sales will be affected by the image of large retailers and change of consumer attitudes.

C-kit-negative gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are uncommon, and there have been few reports about the diagnosis and treatment of c-kit-negative GISTs in the stomach. We report the case of a patient who was diagnosed with a huge and atypical GIST in the stomach. The GIST was completely resected and finally diagnosed as c-kit-negative GIST based on immunohistochemical staining of tumor cells, which were negative for CD117 and CD34 and positive for Discovered on GIST-1 (DOG1). C-kit-negative GISTs could be treated by complete resection and/or imatinib, which is the same treatment for c-kit-positive GISTs.

This letter proposes a low-jitter DLL-based clock generator with two negative feedback loops. The main negative feedback loops suppress the jitter of DLL. The additional negative feedback loops suppress the delay-time variance of each delay stages. Both two negative feedback loops in a DLL results in suppressing the jitter of clock signal further. Measurement results of the DLL-based clock generator with two negative feedback loops fabricated in a one-poly six-metal $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process show 5.127-ps rms jitter and 47.6-ps peak-to-peak jitter at 1 GHz.

We investigated numerically the evolutions of several chemical species which are important for film growth and particle generation in the pulsed $SiH_4$ plasmas. During the plasma-on, the $SiH_x$ concentration increases with time mainly by the generation reaction from $SiH_4$, but, during the plasma-off, decreases because of the hydrogen adsorption reaction. During the plasma-on, the concentrations of negative ions increase with time by the polymerization reactions of negative ions and those become almost zero in the sheath regions because of the electrostatic repulsion. During the plasma-off, the concentrations of negative ions decrease with time by the neutralization reactions with positive ions and some negative ions can diffuse toward the sheath regions because there is no electric field inside the reactor. The polymerized negative ions of higher mass can be reduced successfully by using the pulsed plasma process.
