A Study on Data Remote Control of DNC Network (DNC Network을 통한 Data Remote Control에 관한 연구)

  • At present, some evolutional system has been used to promote the efficiency of the DNC(Direct Numerical Control) Controller. However, these are many inconvenience to this operator because it lacks harmony in interaction between the computer and the NC(Numerical Control). Also, there are some controversial poults when data error occurs at the Data Input/output. According1y, this thesis explores a new Data Remote Control System. In this study, the NC Controller of the DNC network has to Bet full data by removing data error in this system. In this system, the main merits are easy manufacturing and the convenience of Data Input/output. That is, remote control of the NC machine tool is possible without mutual interaction between the computer and itself.

  • In this study, it is developed the interactive DNC(Direct Numerical Control) system, in using RS-232C cable and auxiliary computer, through the diagnosis of planning process and information evaluation. this DNC system recognize the Manufacturing planning and control it. This DNC system has a different notation. It can be done by an operator who hasn't knowledge about personnel computer. It is operated with automatic planning and measurement tec. by operator, using part program on the NC(Numerical Control).

  • This paper presents the study on the development of a DNC, system IPIS(Interactive Plant Information System)/DNC, which can manage NC machines and robots as a distributed control method in the machine. processing factory. The IPIS/DNC system is composed of a host computer, satellites and NC machines. A set of software modules are developed on the host computer and the satellites separately. By modularizing each functions of the IPIS/DNC system and using multi-taking method, the functions such as NC program management, NC program distribution, and shop monitoring can be performed on the host computer, and the functions such as NC program transfer to the NC machines, and NC program editing can be performed on the satellites. A Relational database which is linked with job scheduling system is used for IPIS/DNC system.

  • The present so many systems are used by evolution of Program to expel DNC(Direct Numerical Control) Network Infra for many CNC Controller. However, these systems is an inefficiency side in case of mutual connection at a long distance between Server Computer and Machining center Also, the machining center have so many controversial points in data transmission-receiver from the NC data server. So, this thesis well constructed the remote control system from CNC(Computer Numerical Control) Controller to CAD/CAM Server Computer. This system have some kinds of merits. Firstly. the machining center's user can easily use the saved NC data transmission from the CAD/CAM Server Secondly, the remote control is possible without the mutual conversation between the CAD/CAM Server and the machining center.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of post processor for Numerical control programing which prepare control paper tape of NC machine. The post processor that we developed reflects modular program design methodology to improve flexibility about variety NC machine. Also, the designed post processor is able to link with general NC system as APT(Automatically programing tools) system or general CAD/CAM system.

  • NC (Numerical Control) code for the tool path needs to be generated efficiently for machining of free form pockets with arbitrary wall geometry on a three axis CNC machine. The unified rough and finish cut algorithm and the tool motion is graphically simulated in Part 1. In this paper, a grid based 3D navigation algorithm simulated in Part 1 for generating NC tool path data for both linear interpolation and a combination of linear and circular interpolation for three-axis CNC milling of general pockets with sculptured bottom surfaces is experimentally performed and verified.

  • This paper presents a new method for the optimization of feed rate in sculptured surface machining. A NC verification model based on Z-map was utilized to obtain chip load according to feed per tooth. This optimization method can regenerate a new NC program with respect to the commanded cutting conditions and the NC program that was generated from CAM system. The regenerated NC program has not only the same data of the ex-NC program but also the updated feed rate in every block. The new NC data can reduce the cutting time and produce precision products with almost even chip load to the feed per tooth. This method can also reduce tool chipping and make constant tool wear.

  • This paper presents a new NC machine performance test and calibration system. In order to measure NC machine erros in simpler, and less time-comsuming way, some indirect measuring systems such as circular disk system and double ball bar system have been developed instead of laser interferometer. But these indirect measuring systems have shown their limits in identifying each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value. Therefore, we developed an unique NC machine error measurement system which provides a simple measuring process like other conventional indirect methods and still can indentify each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value.
