A Study on a Mutual Win-Win Growth Strategy for Korean Supermarkets

  • Purpose - This study suggested a practical model for super supermarkets (SSMs) and small- and medium-sized stores to grow together. Super centers expanded their business. However, after the retail distribution law was revised in 2009, mutual cooperation between large and small enterprises resulted in social issues and people raised the issue of profitability. Research design, data, and methodology - This study investigated cases of regulation over distribution in Japan, France, and other countries to reveal implications and recommendations. Results - This study demonstrated how SSM and middle and small supermarkets could grow together by franchising and using cooperative society law. Franchising was a mutual growth model whereby the franchiser provided franchisees with large enterprise systems and utilities while franchisees could provide the franchiser with local information. They could thus build trust in each other to facilitate a mutual growth model. Further, the voluntary franchise system's model facilitated the mutual growth model. Conclusions - This study demonstrates that the franchise system and cooperative society could constitute an ideal model whereby large enterprises and middle and small stores could rely upon each other and grow together.

  • 1980년대 선진국에서 대두된 내생적 지역재발정책에 따라 우리 나라에서 1990년대 이후 활발하게 추진되고 있는 산학연지역컨소시엄사업, 지역협력연구센타사업 등 주요 지역협력형 지역개발사업의 효과여부에 대한 평가방법을 탐색하고자 한 본 연구의 주요 내용은 다음과 같다. 현대과학기술의 협력연구 필요성과 지역개발의 방향을 접목시켜 지역협력형 지역개발의 개념정립을 시도하고, 주요 사업의 현황을 검토하고 그러한 사업에 대한 전문가들의 의식조사를 실시하여 협력연구의 유형, 대학과 기업, 관청사이의 협력연구 현황과 문제점 인식의 차이 등을 도출하여 평가의 일환으로 적용하고자 하였다. 또한 협력사업을 주 대상으로 평가체계와 평가요소를 정리하고자 하였으며 현행 주요사업의 평가방법과 의식조사 내역을 바탕으로 평가방법의 향후방향을 고찰하였다.

한.양방 협진의 실태 및 문제점과 나아가야 할 방향 (The Problems of Cooperative Medical System of Oriental and Western Medicine and Their Solutions)

  • The Korean system of health and medical care has been organized with both Oriental and Western medical sciences. To get complete clinical treatment results is not possible with only one-sided medical care, therefore we need to formulate an interdisciplinary plan for better health care, that is to say our ultimate purpose is the cooperative medical care for the promotion of social welfare and health. Hereupon, I made a searching inquiry into the present condition of cooperative medical care and its problems and also took a consideration into the medical state of other countries like China. Japan and North Korea where the Oriental medical care is used. The results of this investigation are as follows. There are some problems in both Oriental and Western(general) medical care, such as a lack of mutual confidence, a severance of interdisciplinary study, a shortage of professional human resources and so on. There also used to be problems of the system such as, the responsibility of medical care, the double charge for medical treatment, the governmental passive participation and policy, the private-oriented study system and so on. The solutions of these problems are that the mutual understanding and coexistence between both Oriental and Western medical sciences should be preceded and the interdisciplinary study, identified terminology and cooperative medical specialists would be necessary. Furthermore, the government has to seek some policies and legislation for the cooperative medical system and needs to support the public research institutes and centers of the cooperative medical care. After all, we have to train the cooperative medical specialists for the mutual aid of both Oriental and Western medical sciences and the government also has to support it with some policies and legislation for the better medical care system.

원주지역에서의 유기농업 활동과 협동조합 역할과의 관계 연구 - Delphi Technique을 활용한 인식조사 - (A Study on the Relationship between Organic Agriculture Activity and Cooperatives Role in Wonju - Utilizing Delphi Technique -)

  • This study started with two questions. The first question is 'Why does organic agriculture want to be linked with cooperative?' The second is 'What is the characteristics of the mutual relationship between organic agriculture and cooperative?', especially in Wonju. Up to now, there have been various kinds of discussion about cooperation between organic agricultural campaign and cooperative in Wonju. But there are few concrete data showing what role cooperative plays in the cyclical process of production-distribution-consumption of organic agriculture. Thus, we conducted a survey applying the Delphi technique to the 35 organic agricultural specialists active in Wonju. First, small-scale family farm producers established a social economic cooperative network in around 2003 to perform 'the activities of innovators' through forming an organization. Producers moved from the stage in which they were supported one-sidedly by consumers to the stage where they could 'lead' cooperation. Each farm organization built a vertical integration, and horizontal cooperative systems with other farm organizations. But, practical cooperative activities have remained in the doldrums. They tend to show trends deviating from the principles of organic agriculture and cooperative. Second, the relationship between producers and consumers in Wonju can be described as 'producer-consumer cooperative type'. In Wonju, the producers' organization is not a sub-contractor which simply deliver organic agricultural products to producers' cooperative, but is an equal subject which creates its own value chain. The cooperative (cooperative organization) leads distribution and consumption of organic agricultural products and mutual communication. But, the closeness between producers and consumers has got loosened. And, it is problematic that the proportion of local food consumption in Wonju is very low. There is a very strong tendency to ride the central distribution system of producers' cooperative coalition. Consequently, it is necessary for producers' cooperatives in Wonju to run a local food distribution system based on the 'cooperative system among cooperatives'.

  • In recent years, lots of researches on autonomous mobile robot have been accomplished. However they focused on environment recognition and its processing to make a decision on the motion, And cooperative multi-robot, which must be able to avoid crash and to make mutual communication, has not been studied much. This paper deals with cooperative motion of two robots, 'Meari 1" and "Meari 2 " made in our laboratory, based on communication between the two. Because there is an interference on communication occurring in cooperative motion of multi-robot, many restrictive conditions are required. Therefore, we have designed these robot system so that communication between them is available and mutual interference is precluded, and we used fuzzy interference to overcome unstability of sensor data.of sensor data.

  • 본 논문에서는 카오스 이동 로봇에서의 상호 협조 제어를 위한 동기화 기법을 제안하였다. 카오스 이동 로봇에서의 상호 협조 제어를 위한 동기화를 이루기 위하여 장애물을 가진 경우와 장애물을 가지지 않는 경우에 있어서 결합 동기 이론과 구동 동기 이론을 적용하였으며 두개의 로봇에서 동기화가 이루어짐을 확인하였다.

A Method to Avoid Mutual Interference in a Cooperative Spectrum Sharing System

  • This article proposes a spectrum sharing method which can avoid the mutual interference in both primary and secondary systems. The two systems make them a priority to use two single-dimension orthogonal signals, the real and imaginary pulse amplitude modulation signals, if the primary system is not in outage with this use. A secondary transmitter is selected to be the primary relay and the active secondary source to perform this. This allows a simultaneous spectrum access without any mutual interference. Otherwise, the primary system attempts to use a full two-dimensional signal, the quadrature amplitude modulation signal. If there is no outage with respect to this use, the secondary spectrum access is not allowed. When both of the previous attempts fail, the secondary system is allowed to freely use the spectrum two whole time slots. The analysis and simulation are provided to analyze the outage performance and they validate the considerable improvement of the proposed method as compared to the conventional one.

  • As we have said major contents in the background of inducing Mutual Credits, Agricultural Cooperatives' Mutual Credits are absolutely necessary to the development of rural community. In real aspects, since it has been introduced, Mutual Credits have contributed greatly to the rural prosperity, as we have studied in the actual state of Mutual Credits. But with the advent of WTO system, both the international situation of open-trade policy and the domestic one of free banking and deregulation were rapidly going on at the same time, there by Mutual Credits' business has been threated by them. So Mutual Credits had to seek some programs for development in order to solve the hard situation. Several points on development programs of Mutual Credits are as follows: (1) Realization of scale of economy by the way of M&A among small primary cooperatives (2) Development of new financial products for raising funds safely (3) Management-rationalization by automatic systems like cash dispenser and telebanking (4) Variation of business area (5) Enforcing economy-business part besides Mutual Credits' one among cooperative businesses (6) Government's successive support.
