When examining current process of object tracking and search, objects were tracked by extracting them from image that was inputted through fixed single camera and objects were recognized through Zoom function to know detailed information on objects tracked. This study proposed system that expresses information on area that can seek and recognize object tracked as augmented reality by recognizing and seeking object by using multi camera. The result of experiment on proposed system showed that the number of pixels that was included in calculation was remarkably reduced and recognition rate of object was enhanced and time that took to identify information was shortened. Compared with existing methods, this system has advantage of better accuracy that can detect the motion of object and advantage of shortening time that took to detect motion.
Background: Inspection of livestock farms using surveillance cameras is emerging as a means of early detection of transboundary animal disease such as African swine fever (ASF). Object tracking, a developing technology derived from object detection aims to the consistent identification of individual objects in farms. Objectives: This study was conducted as a preliminary investigation for practical application to livestock farms. With the use of a high-performance artificial intelligence (AI)-based 3D depth camera, the aim is to establish a pathway for utilizing AI models to perform advanced object tracking. Methods: Multiple crossovers by two humans will be simulated to investigate the potential of object tracking. Inspection of consistent identification will be the evidence of object tracking after crossing over. Two AI models, a fast model and an accurate model, were tested and compared with regard to their object tracking performance in 3D. Finally, the recording of pig pen was also processed with aforementioned AI model to test the possibility of 3D object detection. Results: Both AI successfully processed and provided a 3D bounding box, identification number, and distance away from camera for each individual human. The accurate detection model had better evidence than the fast detection model on 3D object tracking and showed the potential application onto pigs as a livestock. Conclusions: Preparing a custom dataset to train AI models in an appropriate farm is required for proper 3D object detection to operate object tracking for pigs at an ideal level. This will allow the farm to smoothly transit traditional methods to ASF-preventing precision livestock farming.
The conventional hand-crafted features used to track objects have limitations in object representation. Convolutional neural networks, which show good performance results in various areas of computer vision, are emerging as new ways to break through the limitations of feature extraction. CNN extracts the features of the image through layers of multiple layers, and learns the kernel used for feature extraction by itself. In this paper, we use the feature map extracted from the convolution layer of the convolution neural network to create an outline model of the object and use it for tracking. We propose a method to adaptively update the outline model to cope with various environment change factors affecting the tracking performance. The proposed algorithm evaluated the validity test based on the 11 environmental change attributes of the CVPR2013 tracking benchmark and showed excellent results in six attributes.

This paper proposes a novel forward vehicle tracking algorithm based on the WMIL(Weighted Multiple Instance Learning) equipped with a particle filter. In the proposed algorithm Haar-like features are used to train a vehicle object detector to be tracked and the location of the object are obtained from the recognition result. In order to combine both the WMIL to construct the vehicle detector and the particle filter, the proposed algorithm updates the object location by executing the propagation, observation, estimation, and selection processes involved in particle filter instead of finding the credence map in the search area for every frame. The proposed algorithm inevitably increases the computation time because of the particle filter, but the tracking accuracy was highly improved compared to Ababoost, MIL(Multiple Instance Learning) and MIL-based ones so that the position error was 4.5 pixels in average for the videos of national high-way, express high-way, tunnel and urban paved road scene.

The robustness and reliability of vision algorithms is the key issue in robotic research and industrial applications. In this paper robust real time visual tracking in complex scene is considered. A common approach to increase robustness of a tracking system is the use of different model (CAD model etc.) known a priori. Also fusion or multiple features facilitates robust detection and tracking of objects in scenes of realistic complexity. Voting-based fusion of cues is adapted. In voting. a very simple or no model is used for fusion. The approach for this algorithm is tested in a 3D Cartesian robot which tracks a toy vehicle moving along 3D rail, and the Kalman filter is used to estimate the motion parameters. namely the system state vector of moving object with unknown dynamics. Experimental results show that fusion of cues and motion estimation in a tracking system has a robust performance.

We propose an active color model based method for tracking motions of multiple human using a networked multiple-camera system in IoT space as a human-robot coexistent system. An IoT space is a space where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors(color CCD cameras for example), are distributed. Human beings can be a part of IoT space as well. One of the main goals of IoT space is to assist humans and to do different services for them. In order to be capable of doing that, IoT space must be able to do different human related tasks. One of them is to identify and track multiple objects seamlessly. In the environment where many camera modules are distributed on network, it is important to identify object in order to track it, because different cameras may be needed as object moves throughout the space and IoT space should determine the appropriate one. This paper describes appearance based unknown object tracking with the distributed vision system in IoT space. First, we discuss how object color information is obtained and how the color appearance based model is constructed from this data. Then, we discuss the global color model based on the local color information. The process of learning within global model and the experimental results are also presented.
'Gesture' except for voice is the most intuitive means of communication. Thus, many researches on how to control computer using gesture are in progress. User detection and tracking in these studies is one of the most important processes. Conventional 2D object detection and tracking methods are sensitive to changes in the environment or lights, and a mix of 2D and 3D information methods has the disadvantage of a lot of computational complexity. In addition, using conventional 3D information methods can not segment similar depth object. In this paper, we propose object detection and tracking method using Depth Projection Map that is the cumulative value of the depth and motion information. Simulation results show that our method is robust to changes in lighting or environment, and has faster operation speed, and can work well for detection and tracking of similar depth objects.
This paper proposes a method of avoiding obstacles and tracking a moving object continuously and simultaneously by using new concepts of virtual tow point and fuzzy danger factor for differential wheeled mobile robots. Since differential wheeled mobile robot has smaller degree of freedom to control and are non-holonomic systems, there exist multiple solutions (trajectories) to control and reach a target position. The paper proposes 'fuzzy danger factor' for obstacles avoidance, 'virtual tow point' to solve non-holonomic object tracking control problem for unique solution and three kinds of fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic controller is policy decision controller with fuzzy danger factor to decide which controller's result is more valuable when the mobile robot is tracking a moving object with obstacles to be avoided.

In this paper, we propose a method for classifying and tracking objects based on information of multiple users obtained using RGB-D cameras. The 3D information and color information acquired through the RGB-D camera are acquired and information about each user is stored. We propose a user classification and location tracking algorithm in the entire image by calculating the similarity between users in the current frame and the previous frame through the information on the location and appearance of each user obtained from the entire image.
Multi-Object trajectory modeling is a major challenge in MOT. CenterTrack tried to solve this problem with a Heatmap-based method that tracks the object center position. However, it showed limited performance when tracking objects with complex movements and nonlinearities. Considering the degradation factor of CenterTrack as the dynamic movement of pedestrians, we integrated the EKF into CenterTrack. To demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method, we applied the existing KF and UKF to CenterTrack and compared and evaluated it on various datasets. The experimental results confirmed that when EKF was integrated into CenterTrack, it achieved 73.7% MOTA, making it the most suitable filter for CenterTrack.
