The Filtered-x Least Mean Fourth Algorithm for Active Noise Control and Its Convergence Analysis (능동 소음 제어를 위한 Filtered-x 최소평균사승 알고리듬 및 수렴 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose the filtered-x least mean fourth (FXLMF) algorithm where the error raised to the power of four is minimized and analyze its convergence behavior for a multiple sinusoidal acoustic noise and Gaussian measurement noise. Application of the FXLMF adaptive filter to active noise control requires to estimate the transfer characteristics of the acoustic path between the output and the error signal of the adaptive controller. The results of the convergence analysis of the FXLMF algorithm indicate that the effects of the parameter estimation inaccuracy on the convergence behavior of the algorithm are characterized by two distinct components : Phase estimation error and estimated gain. In particular, the convergence is shown to be strongly affected by the accuracy of the phase response estimate. Also, we newly show that the convergence behavior can differ depending on the relative sizes of the Gaussian noise and the convergence constant.

  • In this paper, we propose a new filtered-x least mean fouth (LMF) algorithm where the error raised to the power of four is minimized and analyze its convergence behavior or a multiple sinusoidal acoustic noise and Gaussian measurement noise. Application of the filtered-x LMF adaptive filter to active noise cancellation (ANC) requires estimating of the transfer characteristic of the acoustic path between the ouput and error signal of the adaptive canceller. The results of the convergence analysis of the filtered-x LMF algorithm indicates that the effects of the parameter estimation inaccuracy on the convergence behavior of the algorithm are characterized by two distinct component . Phase estimation error and estimated again. In particular , the convergence is shown to be strongly affected by the accuracy of the phase response estimate. Also, we newly show that convergence behavior can differ depending on the relative sizes of the Gaussian measurement noise and convergence constant.

  • Recently the power supply equipments have tendency to take multiple feedback loop paths. In this paper, the state space averaging technique is applied for the analysis of flyback type current mode control circuit. We made real converter for the gurantee of stable output characteristic and proper design of feedback circuit. The validity of proposed method is verified from test results. The improvement of stability is confirmed by sinusoidal signal injection method with isolated transformer. It is known that phase margin is sufficient and gain crossover frequency $f_c$, is nearly 1/5 of switching frequency $f_s$, from the experimental result with frequency response analyzer.

  • 단일 로봇을 이용한 물체의 운반은 제어대상이 하나이기 때문에 제어가 쉽다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 로봇의 크기에 비해 물체의 길이가 길어지거나 부피가 커지고 무게가 증가할 경우, 물체의 균형을 유지하기가 힘들고 로봇의 속도가 감소하는 등의 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 페트리넷의 그래픽적인 모델링 방법을 이용하여 전체 작업을 모델링하여 로봇의 작업 상태를 쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며 명령체계상에서 발생할 수 있는 오류를 사전에 제거하려 하였다. 또한 시스템을 분산형 구조로 설계하여 시스템을 관리하는 별도의 시스템을 설정하지 않는 대신 퍼지 제어기를 이용하여 두 로봇의 협조 작업을 통해 물체를 운반할 경우 일어날 수 있는 애매한 상황에 대한 문제를 수학적인 모델링이 필요하지 않은 퍼지 제어기의 특성을 이용해 해결하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 8비트 마이크로 컨트롤러를 이용한 제어기를 여러 개를 다중 접속하여 구성한 분산형 방재 시스템을 제시하였다. 방재 시스템은 워크스테이션 또는 PC등의 호스트 시스템에 의하여 제어되며 호스트 시스템에 다수의 소형 제어기가 공통 통신 선에 의하여 연결된다. 각 제어기는 서로 다른 주소를 가지며 호스트 컴퓨터는 명령어 패킷에 특정 제어기의 주소를 첫 바이트로 실어 공통 통신 선으로 전송한다. 명령어 패킷의 주소에 해당하는 제어기는 명령어 패킷을 수신하여 입력상태를 호스트로 전송하고나 명령어에 따라 필요한 구동 출력을 발생하고 호스트로 자신의 주소를 포함한 응답 패킷을 전송한다. 서로 다른 주소를 이용하여 열 개의 제어기를 공통 통신 선으로 다중 접속함으로 분산형 방재 시스템을 구현하였다. 현재 방재 시스템의 동향은 분산형 방식으로 옮겨가는 추세이며 선로의 절약, 설치, 중설의 간편함과 함께 빌딩 자동화 시스템과 쉽게 연동하여 운영될 수 있다.

A Cascaded Hybrid Multilevel Inverter Incorporating a Reconfiguration Technique for Low Voltage DC Distribution Applications

  • A cascaded hybrid multilevel inverter including a reconfiguration technique for low voltage dc distribution applications is proposed in this paper. A PWM generation fault detection and reconfiguration paradigm after an inverter cell fault are developed by using only a single-chip controller. The proposed PWM technique is also modified to reduce switching losses. In addition, the proposed topology can reduce the number of required power switches compared to the conventional cascaded multilevel inverter. The proposed technique is validated by using a 3-kVA prototype. The switching losses of the proposed multilevel inverter are also investigated. The experimental results show that the proposed hybrid inverter can improve system efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness. The efficiency of proposed system is 97.45% under the tested conditions. The proposed hybrid inverter topology is a promising method for low voltage dc distribution and can be applied for the multiple loads which are required in a data center or telecommunication building.

  • In this paper, parallel control method that enables coordinating operations of multiple mini ice storage air conditioner is proposed based on LonWorks system. The proposed parallel control method is a kind of master/slave control method based on LonTalk network communication. In the control method, master controller leading whole system operations is determined by date to avoid the disproportion of outdoor unit operations. In addition to the above, duty shift control method is proposed to avoid redundant operations of outdoor units and to equalize the operation frequencies of them. Through some simulation tests, the proposed parallel control method and the duty shift control method are evaluated and the efficiencies of them are validated by comparing with existing methods.

  • In this study, as the preliminary step for developing an unmanned vehicle to deliver a container-box, we designed and implemented Automatic Guided Vehicle(AGV) Simulator for the purpose of Port Facilities Automation. It is preferable to research the intelligent AGV for delivery all day long. For complementing AGV simulator driving, we used multiple-sensor systems with vision, ultrasonic, IR and adapted the high-speed wireless LAN that satisfies the IEEE 802.11 Standard for bi-directional communication between main processor in AGV and Host computer. Here, we mounted on bottom frame in AGV Pentium-III processor, which combine and compute the information from each sensor system and control the AGV driving, and used the 80C196KC micro-controller to control the actuating and steering motors.

  • A high power U.P.S system utilizing the parallel connection of low power U.P.S is developed. For the purpose of elimination the circular current between U.P.S.s, a digital circuit is employed. Furthermore a double phase synchronization and an interphase reactor are used to eliminate the circular current and the voltage ripples caused by the system parameter unbalances of parall connected U.P.S.s. The digital controller is implemented with ADSP21061 as aspect of a functional convenience.

  • The parallel operation system of multiple UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) is used to increase power capacity of the system or to secure higher reliability at critical loads. In the parallel operation of the two UPSs, the load sharing control to maintain the current balance between them is a matter of consequence. In this paper, a highly precise load sharing controller is proposed and implemented for the parallel operation system of two UPSs. After that, a good performance of the proposed method is verified by simulation in the parallel operation system with two UPSs.
