본 논문에서는 2.4, 3.5, 5.2 GHz의 대역에 맞추어 스위칭 동작을 하는 다중 대역 저잡음 증폭기를 CMOS 0.18 um 공정을 이용하여 설계하였다. 제안된 회로는 스위칭 트랜지스터를 이용하여 입력단에서는 트랜스 컨덕턴스, 게이트-소스 캐패시턴스를 조정하고, 출력단에서는 캐패시턴스를 조정하는 방식으로 다중 대역 입출력 정합을 이루었다. 제안된 저잡음 증폭기는 각 스위칭 트랜지스터의 동작 상태에 따라 2.4, 3.5, 5.2 GHz 대역에서 제안된 회로는 입출력단에서 각각 14.2, 12, 11 dB의 이득과 3, 2.9, 2.8의 잡음 지수 특성을 갖는다. 다중 대역 저잡음 증폭기는 1.8 V의 공급 전압에 대해서 4.2~5.4 mW의 전력을 소비한다.

본 논문은 다중출력 전원 시스템을 위한 새로운 구조의 영전류 스위칭(ZCS, Zero Current Switching) LLC 공진형 Post-regulator를 제안한다. 기존의 LLC 공진형 컨버터는 정밀한 다중 출력을 얻기 위해 추가의 비 절연형 DC/DC 컨버터가 요구되었고, 이는 전력 변환 효율 감소 및 제조 원가 상승의 단점을 갖고 있다. 제안된 Post-regulator는 각 정류 다이오드 및 전력 스위치의 내압 및 전류 스트레스가 작고, 부피가 큰 고가의 비 절연형 DC/DC 컨버터의 추가 대신 1 개의 보조 스위치만으로 구현되므로 구조가 간단하고, 저가격화에 유리하다. 또한, 제안된 Post-regulator의 모든 전력 스위치는 영전류 스위칭이 가능하므로 EMI 특성이 우수하며 스위칭 손실을 최소화 할 수 있다. 최종적으로 본 논문에서 제안된 전원 시스템의 동작 원리 및 타당성을 검증하기 위하여, 영전류 스위칭 LLC 공진형 Post-regulator의 실험 결과를 제시한다.

The blocking probabilities of nx64Kb/s multi-slot calls are generally much higher than that of single slot calls. In order to improve these blocking probabilities of multi-slot calls, we propose a scheme which searches the different numbers of time slots for different types of calls. We analyze the performance of our scheme in a double-buffered time-space-time switching network which accommodates multi-slot calls as well as single-slot calls. The proposed method yields the reduced blocking probabilities, the increased traffic handling capacity and teh reduced CPU processing load, compared with those of the conventional methods.

본 논문에서는 S-대역 위성/지상 겸용 다중빔 위성통신시스템에 적용을 위한 효율적인 기저대역 패킷 스위치 설계 방안을 제시하기 위하여 설계 요구사항과 고려사항들을 분석하고 기존의 기저대역 패킷 스위칭 기법들의 요소기술과 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 위성 기저대역 패킷 스위치의 설계 요구사항 정립을 위하여 기저대역 패킷 스위치의 요구기능, 시스템 규격, 통신서비스 종류와 성능요구사항을 분석하였고, 기존의 레이어-2 및 레이어-3 패킷 스위치 특성, 스위칭 프로토콜 특성, 패킷 스위치 구조 특성들에 대한 비교 분석 결과를 기반으로 MPEG 기반의 레이어-2 위성 기저대역 패킷 스위치의 하드웨어 설계 방안을 제시하였다.

This paper proposes an adaptive mode switching algorithm between two strategies in multiple antenna cellular networks:A single-user mode and a multi-user mode for the broadcast channel. If full channel state information is available at the base station, it is known that a multi user transmission strategy would outperform all single-user transmission strategies. In the absence of full side information, it is unclear what the capacity achieving method is, and thus there are few criteria to decide which of the myriad possible methods performs best given a system configuration. We compare a single user transmission and a multi user transmission with linear receivers in this paper where the transmitter and the receivers have multiple antennas, and find that neither strategy dom inates the other. There is instead a transition point between the two strategies. Then, the mode switching point is determined both ana lytically and numerically for a multiple antenna cellular downlink with correlation between transmit antennas.

멀티 홈 무선 네트워크에서 멀티 채널의 사용은 무선노드의 채널 간섭 및 채널 경쟁을 줄임으로써 네트워크 성능을 향상시킨다. 최근 이를 위한 다양한 기법들이 제안되고 있다 특히 하이브리드 인터페이스 할당 방식을 사용하는 MCR(Multi channel routing protocol)은 간단한 채널 할당 방법을 통해 채널 간섭을 줄여주는 대표적인 라우팅 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 MCR의 링크 계층에서 사용하고 있는 채널 스위칭 알고리즘의 문제점을 지적하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 방안으로 트래픽 부하를 고려한 채널 스위칭 알고리즘인 LCS(Load-aware channel switching) 방안을 제안한다. LCS에서는 이웃 노드의 큐 상태 정보를 수집하여 네트워크 트래픽 상황을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 최선의 채널을 선택한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션과 테스트 베드 실험을 통해 LCS의 성능을 시험한다. 시험 결과 LCS를 적용한 MCR이 기존의 채널 스위칭 알고리즘 보다 향상된 성능을 보였다.

The clamp mode Zero-Volatge-Switched Multi-Resonant-Converter(ZVS-MRC) is proposed. In the converter, the performance of the conventional ZVS-MRC is improved by clamping the drain-to-source voltage of the power switch using a soft switching nondissipative active clamp network. The analysis for each stage of the converter operation modes is presented and is verified by experiments.

Using the general switch management protocol on a multi-protocol label switching network, we present an efficient method for handling handovers. The proposed method directly changes an established path into a new path for supporting a handover. Our investigation reveals the effects of the proposed scheme and demonstrates that this method significantly reduces signaling costs and delays.

A new multi-step voltage source inverter is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme is composed of the double-connected 12-step inverter with an auxiliary circuit. The auxiliary circuit includes two voltage dividing capacitors, two switching devices and a low KVA autotransformer. The resultant system is shown to be a 24-step inverter suitable for large scale SVC applications in which the PWM method can not be employed. The design parameters are derived from the analysis of voltages and currents by means of switching functions. The simulation results verify the proposed concept.

The Classical multi-server heterogeneous queuing system can be more generalized by using the concept of the switching rules. The descriptions of these systems, the relations among the state probebilities at the various points of interest, and comparisons with the single-server system will be presented. Instead of using the imbedded markov chain we set up the simultaneous equations for the state probabilites by the supplementary variable method.
