보건진료 전담공무원의 다문화대상 보건의료서비스 제공실태와 다문화 인식 조사 (Health Service Delivery and Attitudes toward Multi-cultural Clients of Community Health Practitioners)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate health service delivery and attitudes, toward multi-cultural clients amongst community health practitioners (CHPs). Methods: A survey was conducted among 242 CHPs from December 10-22, 2015. The collected data were analyzed using chi-square test, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS 18.0. Results: General awareness of multi-culturalism varied significantly by CHPs age and language ability. Additionally, utilization of services in accordance with the location of community health centers (CHCs) was significantly higher in rural areas than urban areas CHCs in post-partum maternal & neonate care giver service (in maternal child health), management of health educational programs and management of physical exercise (in implementing healthy life style) and networking resources in & outside of CHCs (in management of chronic disease). Conclusion: CHPs deliver health-care services to multi-cultural clients, but have not received sufficient training or education to serve these clients effectively. CHPs who received multi-cultural and foreign language training had more positive experiences with multi-cultural clients. This supports the needs for developing educational programs to enhance multi-cultural understanding amongst CHPs.

간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Multi-cultural Acceptance of Freshmen in Nursing Colleges)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 수준을 파악하고 이에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 W 시 소재 K 대학 간호학과 1학년 학생 410명을 대상으로 2021년 3월 1일- 28일까지 설문조사하였고, 오픈소스 통계패키지 R을 이용하여 빈도, 신뢰도 분석, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, Multiple regression을 시행하였다. 연구결과 간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 수준은 평균 77.36점으로 다소 높은 다문화 수용성 능력을 가지는 것으로 나타났고, 다문화수용성 관련 요인의 영향을 분석한 결과 한국인 인정요건(𝛽=0.34, p<.001), 이주민에 대한 지각된 위협 인식(𝛽=0.29, p<.001), 다문화 교육 경험(𝛽=0.14, p<.001), 다문화 교육 적정 연령 인식(𝛽=0.20, p<.001)은 유의미하였다. 이러한 결과에 따라 간호대학생의 다문화 관련 정규 교육과정 및 프로그램을 개발하고 적극적으로 활용해야 할 필요가 있다.

어린이집 재원 다문화 가정 영아의 양육 현황과 어려움 및 지원요구 (Present Status, Difficulties and Support Needs of Multi-cultural Families Raising Children under 3 Years Old Enrolled at Child Care and Education Centers)

  • Objective: This study intended to analyze parenting characteristics, difficulties and support needs of multi-cultural families that had children under 3 years old, in order to develop their supporting resources. Methods: This study performed semi-structured interviews with 7 mothers from multi-cultural families that had their young children enrolled at child care and education centers in Gyeonggi Do. The interview data transcribed were analyzed using the successive contents analysis, and led to 4 themes and 12 sub-themes. Results: First, the mothers from multi-cultural families were married without understanding the Korean language and culture. Second, the multi-cultural mothers didn't properly respond to their children's needs in interaction and language aspects. As a result, the multi-cultural support centers and child care and education centers gave help to them. Third, in the view of the difficulties facing mothers, parenting problems caused by the lack of information concerning child education, the biased burden of parenting, and the different parenting values of Korean families were all expressed by the mothers. Fourth, regarding support needs, providing individual professional support for children and child-raising support for mothers, customized language and employment support for mothers and parenting education for fathers and family education on multi-culturalism are needed. Conclusion/Implications: Suggestions for decreasing the difficulties facing multi-cultural families that had children under 3 years old were discussed.

21세기 뷰티디자인의 미학적 접근 -한국 미의식을 중심으로- (Aesthetical Approach of Beauty Design in the 21st Century -Focus on Korean Aesthetics-)

  • This study is to find the interpretation of Korean aesthetics with emotional, relative, synthetic thinking in the ambiguity of characteristics of multi-culturalism and ambivalence in contemporary beauty design. Beauty design incorporates makeup and hair design to complete the total images with clothing in fashion shows and Korean aesthetics based on Korean religion and art that include the symbolism of humor, irregularity, moderation, harmony, unification, and emptiness. This study analyzes 864 works of make-up and hair design from 2001 S/S to 2009 F/W to understand the beauty design to summarize the natural, eclectic, classic, poor, humor, and decadent tendencies. The characteristics of aesthetics sense of Beauty Design are summarized as artless naturalism, integrate pluralism, de-constructive deviation, and temperate poverty.

결혼이민자 가족을 위한 임파워먼트 기반의 사회복지실천 연구 (Social Work with Marriage Based Immigrant Families: an Application of Empowerment Approach)

  • 본 연구는 결혼이민자 가족이 직면하고 있는 다양한 도전에 대해 사회복지실천현장의 효과적인 접근방법으로 임파워먼트 접근의 틀을 제시하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 첫째, 결혼이민여성의 프로필과 지원서비스현황을 파악하고, 둘째, 적응관련 쟁점을 정리하였다. 셋째, 적응쟁점을 개인과 가족 관계, 지역사회 관련 및 사회문화 관련으로 구분하고, 임파워먼트 기반 사회복지실천 접근의 내용을 각각의 쟁점별로 거시 중도 미시적 수준에서 논의하였다. 결혼이민자 가족을 위한 차별화된 접근은 다문화역량과 밀접한 관계에 있다고 보고, 사회복지사 자신과 사회복지기관, 지역사회의 문화적 편견에 대한인식과 다문화 지식 및 기술의 개발 필요성을 지적하였다. 끝으로 다문화역량 확보에 대한 사회복지학계와 실천현장의 대응에 대해 논의하였다.

  • A lot of designers are adopting a mixed imitation as techniques of cretion because cultural boundary and structure of meaning in the era of post-modernism are collapsed and dissolved. I raise up a question mark to how can genuine and creative designers can be identified at this epoch when we are today familiar with the trend of informationalization, opening and globalization. Characterisitics of multi-culturalism and compromising blending are meshed with appearance of a theory of disorganization and consumer-driven economic activity of multi-national enterprises in the age of post capitalism. Accordingly it can be said that designers are leaning upon public and consumeroriented pattern rather than pursuing a creative cultural production. With mass media in rapid advancement and public culture in father dissemination, mass production and mass re-production became a natural cultural phenomenon strengthen ing its root. Creative designers somewhat slow and limitative in pace of adaption to rapid changing society amid such social backgrounds and flooded information are coming to dead-end of wall. A mixed imitation as techniques of creation is a result of borrowing, duplicating or re-combining of existing things because the mixed imitation is equivalent to borrowing, copying, compilation and recombination of well-known artworks, motive, diverse people's cultural features, image, techniques and the likes. It is too delicate thing for one to definitely distinguish such cultural phenomenon from either one as creative work or a plagiarized work. Looking into the facts as they are, we should recognize the designers limitation in their creative works by means of the mixed imitation. thus we can have a view upon them from a criticizing standpoint against the designers creation and imitation. On the other hand, when we look at things how the mixed imitation appears in the fashion as a piece of culture, we can understand something of the contemporary designers. I try to find a significance in seeking out a method of approaching to creative fashion designers direction in future times.

모더니즘의 비판적 수용 (Kim Soo-Young and the Critical Reception of Modernism in Korea)

  • The concept of "modernism" has always posed problems in definition from the beginnings of "early-modernism" to our age of post-modernism and multi-culturalism. And yet, the concept has been consistently aligned with the search for new paradigms of thinking about "modernity" as the age experiences it. In this sense, this study tries to explain the meaning of the term "modern," why it still matters in the study of literature, and how to apply it to the examination of Kim Soo-Young′s poems. Kim is one of the leading poets who understood the importance of modernism in the development of Korean modern poetry. But, despite his dedication to the western literary style and modernism, Kim also attempted the renewal of traditional Confucian thought in his poems. The result of such efforts can be seen in poems such as "Difficulties of Confucius ′Everyday Life," in which Kim tries to juxtapose the ancient life of Confucius with life in a much-westernized modern Korea. Another poem "Grass" shows his eagerness to transform traditional eastern aesthetics into a new mode of thinking that encompasses both the influence of the west and changes in 20th-century Korea. Through the study of Kim′s poems in relation to the critical reception of modernism in Korea, we can conclude the following: that Kim led the modernist movement in Korea; that modernism still matters in post-modern Korean literature; and that, because Kin tried to bring together the ideas of western modernism and traditional Confucianism, his poetry not only spoke to his own time but speaks also to our multi-cultural age.

부모참여형 다문화 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영과정에 대한 질적 사례 연구: 초등학교 저학년 자녀를 둔 결혼이민자 가정을 중심으로 (Qualitative Case Study on the Development and Management of Parent Participation education Program - for Multi-cultural Parents with Children in early elementary School -)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생 저학년 자녀를 둔 다문화 부모가 부모교육의 개발과 진행과정에 참여함에따른 부모교육의 개발 및 운영과정을 살펴보고, 프로그램의 성과 및 성과요인을 살펴보고자하였다. 이를 위해 프로그램 개발 및 운영과정에 대한 사례연구를 수행하여 심층면접, 문서자료 검토 등의 방법을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 다문화 부모교육은 프로그램 기획, 진행, 종결의 3단계로 진행되었으며, 진행단계마다 부모들의 참여를 통해 의견을 반영하는 과정으로 운영되었다. 다문화 부모교육 프로그램의 성과로는 '부모로서의 성장', '새로운 다문화 형성', '지지체계 형성' 이라는 3개의 상위범주와 8개의 하위범주로 나타났다. 또한 성과 도출요인으로 '당사자 주도형 프로그램 개발', '부모 참여형 프로그램의 구성과 운영', '유연한 집단운영구조의 활용', '당사자 및 연구진, 운영진 간 긴밀한 상호교류와 소통' 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 향후 실천현장에서 효과적인 다문화 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

디올 패션 하우스 디자인의 아이덴티티 연구 - 폰 갈리아노 디자인을 중심으로 - (The Study on the Design Identity of Dior Fashion House - Concentrating on John Galliano -)

  • The following study from the perspective that the identity of a brand is determined by the creative work of the designer, will review the design identity of fashion house, which have maintained a basic concept of couture house until recently. For this purpose, first, the concepts of fashion house and identity could be examined, and then the design identity of both the past couture designer and the present house designer could be comparatively analyzed. This study focused on John Galliano of Dior, and was carried out under the method of document study and case study. Based on this, the analytic results of the design identity of fashion houses are as follows. The design identity of fashion house, which has its origins in the past couture house, appears from the house characteristics, design characteristics and the design image. The original design identity of Dior House seems to be feminism and elegant extravagance, which naturally models the body line of women into diverse lines. The new design identity of Dior House by Galliano, while reflecting wit and fantasy, at the same time is expressed as sexy and romantic elegance which attempts to express the beauty of modern women. The pursue of chic elegance, which is the characteristic of early Dior design, have changed into avant garde and unique designs with tendencies of multi-culturalism due to the most recent house designers. Finally, Dior house design has successfully maintained the master of handcrafted quality based on craftsmanship, the history from the house archive, and the modern trends appropriately added by the creativity of Galliano.

학술 연구 논의에서 발생하는 귀화식물의 부정적 인식과 문화적 배제 (Cultural Exclusion and Negative Perception related to Naturalized Plants Derived from Academic Discussion)

  • This study suggests that some of the negative arguments related to naturalized plants raised in academic discussions are unreasonable through an analysis of trends in the academia's research on naturalized plants in South Korea. A total of 117 academic papers related to "naturalized plants" on the Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS) website were re-classified by space, the number of vascular plant species, the number of naturalized plant species, naturalization index (NI), and urbanization index (UI). Correlation between human interference and naturalized plant distribution, and between sizes of conservation areas and naturalized plant distribution were analyzed. According to the results, while there was a tendency between urban population and UI ($r^2$ = 0.70, p = .000), the number of visitors in national parks had no relation to either the NI or the UI (r = 0.028 and r = 0.013, respectively). Likewise, there was no correlation between national parks or conservation areas and naturalized plant distribution (r = 0.014, r = 0.17, respectively). The average NI and the UI of forest areas were approximately twice as low as those of national parks. In estimated regression equation, when one hypothesizes that the entire 4,952 taxa of plants growing in South Korea, the number of naturalized plants, combining paleo-naturalized plants and neo-naturalized plants, amounted to 2,398 taxa, 48.43%. In the academia, Korean Endemic Plants are less than one quarter of 4,952 taxa. Such results signify that, contrary to discussions in the academia, it is meaningless to distinguish between naturalized plants and native plants. In certain aspects, academic discussions on naturalized plants in Korea have proceeded in a manner similar to cultural exclusion by mono-culturalism in a multi-cultural environment.
