In this paper, we propose multiple human tracking with an moving stereo camera. The tracking process is based on mean shift algorithm which is using color information of the target. Color based tracking approach is invariant to translation and rotation of the target but, it has several problems. Because of mean shift uses color distribution, it is sensitive to color distribution of background and targets. In order to solve this problem, we combine color and depth information of target. Also, we build human body part model to handle occlusions and we have created adaptive box scale. As a result, the proposed method is simple and efficient to track multiple humans in real time.

Currently, the lack of equipments for the medical practice and education made it impossible for the people in medical institution to carry out suitable experiments for observing human bodies. In this paper, the authors embodied three dimensional images and moving pictures for the human skeletal structure, digestive organs, cardiovascular system and their processes over the internet framework. The three dimensional images and moving picture made it possible for the general people as well as the specialists to observe and obtain informations with regard to the human body. specially, the authors realized a framework for visualizing the human bodies in three dimensional images, via which a detailed and realistic architecture for the human body and its organs tan be obtained. The system developed in this paper can be used in the practice and education of the people engaged in medical fields.
For this study, four male university Taekwondo players were randomly chosen, between the weight categories of 60Kg and 80Kg. Their side kicks (yeop chagi), which are part of foot techniques, were kinematically analyzed in terms of the time, angle, and angular velocity factors involved with the kicks through the three-dimensional imaging. The results of the analysis are as fellows. 1. Time factor The first phase(preparation) was 0.48sec on average, accounting for 60% of the entire time spent; the second phase(the minimum angle of the knee joint) was 0.21sec on average, taking up 26% of the whole time spent; and the third phase(hitting) was 0.11sec on average, representing 14% of the entire time spent. 2. Angle factor In the first phase(preparation), rotating their bodies along the long axis, the players bended their hip and knee joints a lot, by moving fast in the vertical and horizontal directions, in the second phase(the minimum angle of the knee joint), the players continued to extend their bodies along the vertical axis, while pronating their lower legs and bending their hip and knee joints a lot to reduce the radius of gyration, and in the third phase(hitting), they extended their knee joints greatly so that the angle movements of their lower bodies shifted to circle movements. 3. Angular velocity factor In the first phase(preparation), the angular velocity of the hip and knee joints increased. while moving horizontally and rotating the body along the long axis; in the second phase(the minimum angle of the knee joint), the angular velocity increased by bending the hip and knee joints fast to reduce the rotation radios; and in the third phase(hitting), the angular velocity was found to have increased, by rotating the body along the long axis to increase the angular velocity and shifting the angular momentum of the pronated knee joint to the circular momentum.
Zebrafish (Danio rerio) has been more widely used to study pharmacology. Oxytectracycline (OTC) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and works by interfering with the ability to produce essential proteins of bacteria. The aim of this study was to identify the effects of exposure to OTC on behavioral changes or endocrine response in zebrafish. The behavioral effects of exposure to OTC (50, 100 or 200 mg/l) were characterized in several novelty-based paradigms such as the novel tank or open field test in zebrafish. Moreover, to investigate effects of exposure to OTC on endocrine response, we measured whole-body cortisol level using cortisol ELISA kit. As results of novel tank test, duration in top and immobile duration were significantly increased by the exposure to OTC in a concentration-dependent manner (p<0.05). In addition, moving distance, highly mobile, velocity and zone transition were significantly decreased by the exposure to OTC in a concentration-dependent manner (p<0.05). As results of open field test, the exposure to OTC increased immobile duration significantly (p<0.05). However, moving distance, mobile duration and velocity were significantly decreased by the exposure to OTC in a concentration-dependent manner (p<0.05). Besides, the exposure to OTC elevated whole-body cortisol levels in zebrafish. These results suggest that the exposure to OTC may induce chemical stress in zebrafish.

In this study, we aim to converge a technology for analyzing the hydraulic circuit of a loading arm with an- other one for analyzing multi-body dynamics by utilizing analysis software SimulationX. Further, this study intends to overcome the limitations of the existing technology for analyzing a hydraulic circuit with a variation at the rotation center of the moving mass and the difficulty of incorporating the behavior in a gravity field. First, the specifications of the hydraulic circuit components were reflected in an analysis model to secure reliability. Hydraulic circuit modeling was then performed using a single analysis model with a verified reliability. Subsequently, the multi-body system (MBS) model of the loading arm was formed. Finally, the analysis model of the hydraulic circuit and the MBS model were converged to check if the circuit analysis result was exactly reflected in the MBS model. The convergence analysis model has development cost-saving effect because it is capable of predicting the dynamic behavior of an object without the prototype.
Human tracking is a requirement for the advanced human-computer interface (HCI), This paper proposes a method which uses a component-based human model, detects body parts, estimates human postures, and animates an avatar, Each body part consists of color, connection, and location information and it matches to a corresponding component of the human model. For human tracking, the 2D information of human posture is used for body tracking by computing similarities between frames, The depth information is decided by a relative location between components and is transferred to a moving direction to build a 2-1/2D human model. While each body part is modelled by posture and directions, the corresponding component of a 3D avatar is rotated in 3D using the information transferred from the human model. We achieved 90% tracking rate of a test video containing a variety of postures and the rate increased as the proposed system processed more frames.
For free surface flow problem, a high-order spectral/boundary element method is adapted as an efficient numerical tool. This method is one of the most efficient numerical methods by which the nonlinear gravity waves can be simulated and hydrodynamic forces also can be calculated in time domain. In this method, the velocity potential is expressed as the sum of surface potential and body potential. Then, surface potential is solved by using the high-order spectral method and body potential is solved by using the high-order boundary element method. Using the combination of these two methods, the free surface flow problems of a submerged moving body are solved in time domain. In the present study, lifting surface theory is added to the former work to include effects of lift force. Therefore, a new formulation for the basic mathematical theory is introduced to contain the lift body in calculation.

There exist two difficulties in the nonlinear wave-body problems. First is the abrupt behavior near the intersection point between the body and the free surface, and second is the far field treatment. In this paper, the far field treatment is considered. The main idea is the Taylor series expansion of free-surface geometry and the application of F.F.T. algorithm. The numerical step is as follows. The velocity potential is expressed by the Green's theorem. and the solution is obtained by iteration method. In the iteration stage, the expressions by the Green's theorem are transformed to the convolution forts with the expansion of free surface by the wave slope. Here F.F.T. is applied, so the computing time can be of O(Nlog N) where N is the number of unknowns. The numerical analysis is carried out and the results are compared with other results in linear floating body problem and nonlinear moving pressure patch problem, and good agreements are obtained. Finally nonlinear floating body radiation problem is carried out with computing time of O(Nlog N).

A two-dimensional linear method has been developed for the motion and the second-order steady force arising from the hydrodynamic coupling between waves and currents in the presence of a body of arbitrary shape. Interaction between the incident wave and current in the absence of the body lies in the realm beyond our interest. A Fredholm integral equation of the second kind is employed in association with the Haskind's potential for a steadily moving source of pulsating strength located in or below the free surface. The numerical calculations at the preliminary stage showed a significant fluctuation of the hydrodynamic forces on the surface-piercing body. The problem is approximately solved by using the asymptotic Green function for $U^2{\rightarrow}0$. The original Green function, however, is applied for the fully submerged body. Numerical calculations are made for a submerged and for a half-immersed circular cylinder and extensively for the mid-ship section of a Lewis-form. Some of the results are compared with other analytical results without any available experimental data. The current has strong influence on roll motion near resonance. When the current opposes the waves, the roll response are generally negligible in the low frequency region. The current has strong influence on roll motion near resonance. When the current opposes the wave, the roll response decreases. When the current and wave come from the same direction, the roll response increases significantly, as the current speed increases. The mean drift forces and moment on the submerged body are more affected by current than those on the semi-immersed circular cylinder or on the ship-like section in the encounter frequency domain.
