Web-based Servo Motor Controller Design with Real-time Micro Embedded Operating System

  • In this paper, we design and implement remote servo motor control system with real-time micro embedded operating system. The system, where controller and camera image grabber are mounted, handles control commands transmitted from a remote PC web browser. A hard real-time servo motor driver running on the real-time micro embedded OS and then a digital control application which confirms precise sampling time intervals is constructed. Frame grabber images transmitted from camera are saved in a image data format to view on remote PC web browser.

  • In this paper. we have simulated the transient stability of power system with motor loads. In study of power system stability, modelling of motors is required for the system with large concentrations of motors. Therefore the dynamics attributable to motors are usually the most significant aspects of dynamics characteristics of system loads. A synchronous motor is modelled as a dynamic load. We investigate the effect of synchronous motors of Kwang Yang network with three phase fault.

  • In this paper, a simulation system, which is almost same with the real motor-mechanical control system, is established. The real system is identified by using the data from DSP(TMS320F240). The RLS(Recursive Least Square) algorithm is used for the identification and MATLAB Simulink program is used for simulation. The exact simulation system obtained by using the proposed method is very useful for analysis and design of motor-mechanical control systems.

  • Motion control system using motor generally consists of 2 inertio system, motor inertio and load inertio linked with flexible coupling. In the case of direct drive motor control, the effect of coupling inertio decrease the precision performance. The study is about semiclosed control scheme of the system and experimental setup. To compensate the effect of coupling inertio, semiclosed control system by disturbance observer is employed. The simulation result is shown.

스텝모터의 진동 저감을 위한 마이크로 스텝 구동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Micro Stepping Drive to Reduce Vibration of Step Motor)

  • In this study, We use microstep control to reduce vibration of step motor. Microstep control of step motor is usually thought of as an extension of conventional step motor control technology. The essence of micro stepping is that we divide the full step of a step motor into a number of substep called microstep and cause the stepmotor to move through a substep per input pulse. In ideal case, by controlling the individual phase currents of a two-phase step motor sinusoidally we can get uniform torque and step angle. But due to the nonlinear characteristics of the step motor, we need to compensate current waveform to improve the over-all smoothness of the conventional micro stepping system. We implement digital Pulse Width Modul- ation (PWM) driver to drive step motor and microphone was used for detecting vibration. Driver enables speed change automatically by increasing or decreasing micro stepping ratio which we call Automatic Switching on the Fly. To compensate the torque harmonics, neural network is applied to the system and we found compensated optimal input current waveform. Finally we can get smooth motion of step motor in a wide range of motor speed.

  • 기존의 선형 이송 시스템은 구동원으로 서보 모터를 사용하고 있다. 서보 모터의 회전 운동을 직선 운동으로 변환하기 위해서는 기계적인 동력전달 장치가 필요하며, 이는 위치 오차의 발생이나 주기적인 시스템의 유지보수의 필요성 등의 문제점을 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 단위 체적당 추력비가 기존의 모터에 비해 우수한 횡축형 선형전동기를 이용하여 LCD 공정에 사용되는 인덱서(indexer) 시스템의 선형 추진부에 적용하는 연구를 수행하였다. 실험결과 횡축형 선형전동기는 가속능력, 최대속도 및 위치결정 정밀도 등에서 인덱서 시스템에 적용하기에 적합한 것을 검증하였다.

  • The basic equations of a doubly-fed long-stator linear motor for a shuttle-based railway system are established. They show which degrees of freedom exist for controlling the motor. The ratio of stator and rotor current proves to be an important parameter in determining the design of motors, converters and mechanics.

  • 산업 전반에 걸쳐 유도 전동기는 필수적인 요소로 그 비중이 매우 크다. 이에 수반하여 유도 전동기의 고장은 단지 유도 전동기라는 전기기기에 국한되는 것뿐만 아니라 진동기의 다른 부분에 영향을 미치거나 다른 고장을 유발하는 원인이 되기도 한다. 이는 산업 시스템의 신뢰성을 실추시키는 악영향을 수반한다. 따라서 이를 예방하기 위한 여러 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업 전반에 걸쳐 널리 사용되고 있는 유도 전동기의 고장을 자동 판별하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템의 고장진단 방법은 고정자 전류를 취득하여 이를 웨이블릿 분석하여 그 신호의 특징을 추출한다 이렇게 추출된 신호의 특징을 신경망을 사용해서 자동 판별하게 된다. 유도 전동기의 고장의 대부분을 차지하는 3가지의 고장을 모의 고장 유도전동기를 사용해서 시험하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 3가지의 유도 전동기의 고장을 간단한 장비로 진단을 수행하여 신뢰도 높은 고장 진단 시스템을 제안하였다.

  • The next generation domestic high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for motor speed control. Nowadays, inverter driven induction motor system is widely used. However, recently PMSM drives are deeply considered as a alternative candidate instead of an induction motor driven system due to their advantages in efficiency, noise reduction and maintenance. The next-generation high-speed train is composed of 2 converter units, 4 inverter units, and 4 Traction Motor units. Each motor is connected to the inverter directly. In this paper, the effects of IPMSM parameter variation to the system operation characteristics of the multi inverter driven high speed train system are investigated. The parallel connected inverter input-output characteristics are analyzed to the parameter mismatches of the IPMSM in 1C1M control using Matlab/Simulink, then the reliability of the simulation results are verified through experimental results.

  • This paper presents a study on DSP(TMS320F240) controller design for multi-axes transportation system using BLDC servo motor. This BLDC servo motor controller was realized with DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and IPM (Intelligent Power Module). The multi-axes transportation system needs torque, speed, position control of servo motor for variable action. This paper implements those servo control with vector control and space vector modulation technique. As CPU of controller DSP(TMS320F240) is adopted because, it has PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) waveform generator, A/D(Analog to Digital) converter, SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface) port and input/output port etc. The controller of multi-axes transportation system consists of 3-level hierarchy structure that main host PC manages three sub DSP system which transfer downword command and are monitoring the states of end servo controllers. Each sub DSP system operates eight BLDC servo controllers which control BLDC servo motor using DSP and IPM Between host system and middle digital signal processor communicate with RS-422, between main processor and controller communicate with SPI port.
