한국 청소년의 체중인식과 체중조절행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Korean Adolescents' Body Weight Perceptions and Weight Change Efforts)

  • Purpose: This research was performed to investigate Korean adolescents' body weight perception, appropriate weight change efforts, and factors that influencing these efforts. Methods: The data were obtained from 68,136 adolescents, aged 12~18 years from the 2007 Third Korean Youth' Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. Descriptive statistical analysis and odds ratio were calculated by logistic regression. Results: The distribution of the body mass index differed in boys and girls. The accuracy of body weight perception was shown in the order of the underweight (91.6%), overweigh t (73.3%), normal weight (55.4%), obesity (41.3%) groups. Adolescents with high perceived economic status tended to have a high prevalence of accuracy of body weight perception. The distribution of appropriate weight change efforts according to the actual body mass index showed that girls were trying to lose weight more than boys. The results of a logistic regression analysis regarding appropriate weight change efforts showed differences according to gender, perceived economic status, mother's educational level, and family affluence scale. Conclusion: Appropriate body weight perception and change management plans are needed for Korean adolescents. In addition, active weight change programs have to be established in the adolescents' living environments, such as schools.

학교급식이 초등학생의 식행동에 미친 영향에 대한 아동과 어머니의 인식 비교 (A Comparison of the Perceptions of Children and Their Mothers of the Effects of School Lunch Programs on Children's Dietary Behaviors)

  • 본 연구에서는 초등학교 아동과 어머니를 대상으로 학교급식이 아동의 식행동에 미치는 영향을 조사ㆍ비교하여 초등학교에서의 바람직한 급식지도와 학교급식의 균형적인 목적 달성을 위한 식생활교육 방향 설정에 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제시하고자 초등학교 6학년생 425명 (남자 215명, 여자 210명)과 어머니 412명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과, 학교급식은 초등학생들에게 식사에 대해 바른 이해를 도모하며 편식교정에 효과적이고 간식 섭취에 긍정적인 효과를 보였다. 또한 학교급식을 통하여 초등학생들은 바람직한 식생활태도와 식사예절을 지니게 되었으며 아동의 식생활 위생 관리에도 효과적이었다. 그러나 간식 섭취 (간식의 시기, 간식으로 적합한 식품의 선택과 적절한 양), 아침 식사 반드시 하기, 식사중 책이나 텔레비전 시청하지 않기, 어른이 드신 후 식사하기 등 가정에서의 식사와 관련이 큰 항목들에 있어서는 ‘급식 후에도 여전히 그렇지 않다’는 의견이 다른 항목에서보다 많아 이에 대한 보다 세심한 지도가 필요하며 특히 바람직한 식습관 형성과 올바른 식사 방법 지도에서 학교급식이 효과를 거두기 위해서는 가정과 연계한 지속적인 지도가 있어야 하겠다. 학교급식이 아동의 식행동에 미치는 효과는 아동성별간이나 어머니의 직업 유무에 따라서는 단지 몇 항목을 제외하고는 차이가 없었으나 아동과 어머니간에는 2개 항목을 제외한 모든 항목에서 차이를 보였으며 아동보다 어머니들이 학교급식이 아동의 식행동에 미치는 영향에 대해 더 긍정적이었다. 이는 최근의 어머니들은 과거에 비해 아동의 식생활교육에 대해 학교교육에 대한 의존도가 높아졌다는 것을 의미한다. 결론적으로 학교급식은 어릴 때부터 아동들의 잘못된 식행동을 바로 잡아 신체적, 정신적인 성장 발달의 정상화를 이루고 보다 좋은 식습관을 형성시키는 데 도움을 준다고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 성장기 아동의 식생활 습관이 성인기의 건강에까지 영향을 미친다는 점을 고려하여 앞으로 영양사 뿐 아니라 초등 교사들도 학교 급식을 하나의 교육활동으로 간주하여 보다 적극적 인 자세로 지도에 임할 필요가 있다고 생각되며 이러한 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 가정과 연계한 지도도 이루어져야 할 것이다.

외조모의 긍정적 양육행동과 어머니의 자기분화 및 긍정적 양육행동이 학령 후기 아동의 자아개념에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Maternal Grandmothers' Positive Parenting Behavior and Mothers' Self-Differentiation and Positive Parenting Behavior on Self-Concept in Late Childhood)

  • Objective: This study examined the effects of maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior and mothers' self-differentiation and positive parenting behavior on self-concept in late childhood. Methods: A total of 341 $5^{th}$- and $6^{th}$- grade elementary school children and their mothers participated in the study. Children were surveyed regarding perceptions of their mothers' positive parenting behavior and their own self-concept. Mothers responded to questionnaires regarding both positive parenting behavior of their mothers and their own self-differentiation. The data were analyzed using SEM. Results: Maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior had an indirect effect through mothers' self-differentiation and positive parenting behavior on children's self-concept. Mothers who perceived positive parenting behavior in their mothers in their childhood showed positive parenting behavior (as perceived by their children), and those children reported a higher level of self-concept. Mothers who perceived their mother's parenting behavior in their childhood more positively reported a higher level of self-differentiation, and those mothers showed more positive parenting behavior (as perceived by their children), which led to more positive self-concept in children. Conclusion: The findings specify the pathways from maternal grandmothers' positive parenting behavior to children's self-concept through mothers' self-differentiation and positive parenting behavior in an aspect of the intergenerational transmission of parenting. The findings also emphasize the importance of mothers' positive parenting behavior for positive self-concept in late childhood.

가정생활 문화에 대한 의식과 실태: 한국인의 양육문화 (Current State of the Childrearing Culture in Korean Families)

  • This study was carried out with the purpose of capturing current state of Korean family life culture related to childrearing. The Questionnaire developed for this study in order to delineate the values and perceptions related to general childrearing practices in present Korean families consisted of 73 items concerning prenatal care and child birth, child caring and rearing, and role division and value education. Subjects were mothers of young and primary school children currenly residing in Seoul area and Choongchung province of South Korea. Four hundred and four questionnaires were analyzed, and the summary of results were as follows. First, both the respect for children's individual needs concerning food, clothing, and health-related behaviors and the pursuit of convenience in everyday life on the part of mothers appeared to be important and valued by Korean mothers. Second, the basic values and traditional meanings of family events such as prenatal care, children's birthday, especiall the first one, and family rituals and gatherings still appeared to be exsiting and influential, but there seemed to have been some changes both in their formal aspects and detail contents. Third, meaningful differences in childrearing attitudes were found according to mother's place of growth, educational level, and her employment status. Finally, traditional distinction between sexes and sex-role division in childrearing seemed to have weakened to some extent, which was particularly among mothers with higher educational level or residing in big cities.

산욕초기 산모의 간호간병통합서비스 인식에 관한 주관성 연구 : Q 방법론 (A Study on the Subjectivity of Comprehensive Nursing Service in Early Postpartum Mothers: Q Methodology)

  • 본 연구는 일반병동에 입원한 산욕초기 산모를 대상으로 그들의 간호간병통합서비스 인식에 대한 주관성을 파악하고자 시도되었으며 주관성에 대한 유형과 유형별 특성을 확인하고자 Q 방법론을 적용하였다. P표본 21명을 대상으로 간호간병통합서비스 인식에 대하여 Q 표본 25개의 진술문을 9점 척도 분포도에 분류케 하였다. 자료 수집기간은 2020년 3월16일부터 3월31일까지 진행되었고 수집된 자료는 PC-QUANL 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 그룹 간 차이를 보이는 요인은 세 가지였다. "제 1유형"은 "산욕초기산모의 정서관리 지속 필요형" 제 "2 유형"은 "회복기 가족 역할 중시형"으로 산욕초기는 산모의 회복, 아이의 출생이라는 새로운 과업에 대하여 가족의 공감대 형성시기라고 생각하고 있었다. "제 3 유형"은 "입원동기에 따른 차별화된 운영지침 필요형"으로 산욕초기 산모에게는 보호자 상주를 제한하는 운영지침의 개선이 필요하다고 인식하였다.

초등학교 고학년 아동의 성폭력 인식에 관한 연구 (Elementary School High Grade Students' Perceptions of Sexual Violence)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify sexual violence, sexual knowledge of elementary school high grade students and develop the sexual violence protect promotion program. Method: The subjects of the study were 365 elementary school high-grade students in Daegu, Gyeongbook. The instruments used in this study were sexual violence(8items) by Yom et al.(2001) and sexual knowledge (20items) by Ha(2000). The data were collected between November 26 and December 1, 2001 by using a self-administered questionnaire. Analysis of data was done by using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient. t-test, A-NOVA and Duncan test with SPSS program. Result: 1) 78.4% of the subjects were educated for sexual knowledge. Source of knowledge for sex-related knowledge is the most teachers. 2) 50.9% of the subjects were educated for sexual violence. Source of knowledge for sexual violence is the most teachers. 3) 18.4% subjects experience sexual harassment. 8.8% of the subjects experienced serious sexual contact and 2.1% of the subjects were raped. 4) The average score of sex related knowledge was 8.93. The average score of misconception related sexual violence was 2.30. 5) Misconception of sexual violence was correlated with such demographic variables as grade(F=4.788, p=0.009), sex(t=2.971 p=0.003), region(t=3.614, p=0.000), father's education level(F=3.170, p=0.014), mother's education level(F=2.528, p=0.041), family income(F=5.577 p=0.004) 6) In the correlation between the scores of sex-related knowledge, misconception related sexual violence was a negative correlation. Conclusion: According to this study, it is needed to develop the program about sexual violence education for elementary school high-grade students.

중학생의 식생활 단원에 대한 인식과 식행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Perceptions of Food & Nutriton Section and Eating Behaviors of Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception and eating behaviors of middle school students in Kwangju area about food and nutrition section of Home Economics course. The subjects were 480 middle school students. The major results were as follows: On the perception f food and nutrition section, the 1st graders learned ‘how to settle the problems related to food and nutrition and food choices’. The 2nd graders learned ‘the knowledge and principle of food and nutrition for improving dietary life’. The 3rd graders learned ‘actual dietary life functions like arranging menu and preparing meals’. Consequently, there was a significant difference in each grade and all boy and girl students have the highest response to the item ‘they learn how to settle the nutrition problem and foods choices’. On the interests in food and nutrition section, lower graders and girl students have higher interest than hgiher graders and boy students. The area which was considered as most interesting in food and nutrition sections was ‘cooking’ in all students. The perception of the concern on dietary life after learning food and nutrition section was higher in the 1st graders. On the perception of the area where was a great change in their own dietary life after learning food and nutrition section, the 1st graders responded there was a great change in ‘balanced dietary life’, the 2nd graders in ‘eating habit and nutrition of adolescence’and the 3rd graders in ‘cooking’. Especially, girl students showed more changes. On the perception of degree which food and nutrition section gives a help to actual life, students over 50% responded that it was helpful to their actual life. This showed that the lower the grades, the more help it gave to those students. On the perception of mother’s job, the students with working mother considered that they learned ‘actual dietary life functions like functions like arranging menu and preparing meals’from the food and nutrition section. In addition, they had high interests in the area of ‘cooking’. It was recognized that as the family size was greater, the food and nutrition section gave more helps to actual life. On eating behaviors of breakfast, the higher the grade, the more frequent they don’t have breakfast, boy students have more frequencies of having breakfast than girl students and the primary reason of not having breakfast is poor appetite. On whether going without a meal affects study or not, most of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders whether they are boys and girls or not responded it affected their study. On eating behaviors of lunch, most of boy and girl students in the 1st, 2nd 3rd grade have lunch box. On eating behaviors of supper, eating time is usually between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m and eating hour is mostly 10 or 15 minutes. On eating behaviors between meals, frequency of eating between meals is mostly once or twice a day and girl students have more frequencies of eating between meals, and the cause was hunger commonly in boy and girl students and ‘killing time’in girl students. The focus in getting the foods is ‘taste’and favorite food is fruit regardless of the grade.

청소년기 자녀 어머니의 양육경험에 대한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study of the Parenting Experience of Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년기 자녀 어머니들을 대상으로 양육 경험을 탐색하기 위해 이루어졌다. 연구 참여자는 서울지역의 중학교 1~3학년 자녀의 주 양육자 7명으로 2019년 9월부터 12월까지 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 각 참여자들의 인터뷰 내용을 녹취한 후 전사한 축어록과 인터뷰 요약 내용인 문서 등을 자료로 수집하였다. 본 연구에서는 참여자들이 서술한 경험과 행위에 대한 인식을 연구자가 의미화 할 수 있는 Smith & Osborn (2003)의 해석현상학적 방법으로 분석하였고, 자료 분석 결과 6개의 대주제와 25개의 소주제가 도출되었다. 청소년기 자녀 어머니들의 양육 경험에서 도출된 결과는 크게 6가지로 자녀와 함께 시간보내기의 함의, 당연하지 않은 당위 행동, 표현의 미학, 에너지의 충전 방법, 자녀에게 남기고 싶은 정신적 유산, 유연성이다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 임상 실천 분야에서 어머니들이 어떻게 청소년기 자녀와 상호작용해야할 지에 대한 보편성과 특수성의 양방향을 제시해줄 수 있다고 본다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 예방적이고 교육적인 차원에서 청소년기 자녀의 어머니들이 양육자로서 자녀와 어떤 상호작용을 하면 좋을지에 대한 건강한 반응의 제시를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

미숙아를 위한 캥거루케어 프로토콜 개발 및 적용 효과 (Development of the Kangaroo Care Protocol and its Effect on Premature Infants)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop the protocol of kangaroo care for premature infants and to evaluate its effects including physiologic responses of premature infants, their parents'anxiety, and neonatal nurses'perception regarding the kangaroo care. Methods: Kangaroo care protocol was developed through a literature review and validation of an expert group. The developed kangaroo care protocol was tested with 27 preterm infants, 24 parents, and 60 nurses in one neonatal intensive care unit in S hospital. Data were collected from December 2012 to February 2013 and analyzed by descriptive statistics and t-test using the SPSS/Win statistical program. Results: Physiologic responses including heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature among premature infants received the kangaroo care were maintained within normal limit. The anxiety levels of the parents who provided kangaroo care for their infants were significantly decreased as it was compared before and after care (t=3.43, p=.002). There were no significant differences in nurses'perceptions about kangaroo care before and after the application of the protocol. Conclusion: The developed kangaroo care protocol is proved to be effective and can be used safely in nursing practice.

나와 가족관계' 단원에 대한 중학생의 긍정적 인식, 실천성 인식과 가족건강성 (The relationship between students' perceptions and practicability of the "Me and My Family Relations" unit and Family strength among middle school students)

  • 본 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 기술 가정 교과서 '나와 가족관계' 단원의 내용에 대한 긍정적 인식 정도와 실천성 인식정도, 가족건강성 정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 중학생의 가족환경, 교과서의 긍정적 인식, 실천성 인식이 가족건강성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해서 인천광역시에 거주하는 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 임의표집방법으로 질문지 430부를 배부하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 중학생은 기술 가정 교과서 '나와 가족관계' 단원에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 그러나 자신들의 실제 가족생활에서는 실천성이 없다고 생각하고 있었다. 둘째 중학생이 인지하는 자신의 가족건강성 정도는 높게 나타났고, 감사와 애정정도, 유대감, 긍정적인 의사소통, 문제해결능력의 순으로 높게 인식하고 있었다. 어머니 직업이 있을 경우, 생활수준, 부 학력 수준이 높을 경우 가족건강성을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 셋째 중학생의 가족환경, 교과내용의 긍정적 인식 정도, 실천성 인식정도가 가족건강성에 미치는 영향을 보면 교과서 내용에 대한 긍정적 인식과 가족의 정서환경이 가장 맡은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가족의 구조적 환경은 정서적 환경에 비해 미치는 영향력이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 교과서의 실천성 인식은 긍정적 인식에 비해 가족건강성에 미치는 영향이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
