도덕적 이탈 및 도덕적 정서가 또래괴롭힘에 대한 가해동조행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Moral Disengagement and Moral Emotions on Bullying Assistant Behavior)

  • The purpose of the present study which regards bullying as a group process was to examine the direct and indirect influences of moral disengagement, empathy, and guilt on bullying assistant behavior. The participants consisted of 442 6th graders from an elementary school(male : 227, female : 215). The findings from this study are as follows. First, there are significant correlations between moral disengagement, empathy, guilt, and bullying assistant behavior. Second, moral disengagement have not only direct influences but also indirect influences through empathy and guilt on bullying assistant behavior. Moral disengagement was the strongest predictor of bullying assistant behavior. Finally, the implications for future research and intervention in bullying were also discussed.

도덕적 정체성 이론은 탈 콜버그주의인가? (Is Moral Identity theory a post-kohlbergian? - The function of the reflective reasoning in the moral identity theory and it's implication)

  • 본 연구는 탈 콜버그주의 논쟁이 도덕적 정체성 이론에 미친 영향을 분석하여 도덕적 추론을 통합한 도덕적 정체성 이론의 의의와 한계를 밝히고, 간 학문적 연구들에 기반 한 도덕 심리학적 연구 수행과 이에 근거한 도덕교육의 필요성을 규명하고자 하였다. 2008년 Journal of moral education 특집호에 실린 탈 콜버그주의 논문에 대해 튜리엘과 깁스는 문화상대주의를 극복하고 도덕 판단의 규범성을 확립하기 위해서 도덕의 작용에서 도덕적 추론은 반드시 요청된다고 주장하였다. 이러한 비판은 도덕적 정체성 이론의 전개에 상당한 영향을 주었다. 도덕적 정체성이론은 인지발달이론의 도덕적 동기화 문제를 해결하는 대안 패러다임으로 탈 콜버그주의 특징을 보였다. 하지만 특집호 이후에 블라시는 관습이후 수준의 도덕추론 능력을, 탈 콜버그주의를 주도하던 나바에즈는 직관과 추론의 동등모델에 근거한 도덕 전문가를 성숙한 도덕인의 특징으로서 설명하였다. 본 연구는 도덕적 추론을 통합한 도덕적 정체성 모델의 의의와 한계를 분석하여 도덕철학과 도덕 심리학의 관계에 대해 후행적으로 상보적일 수 있음을 인정하였다. 이는 도덕의 작용에 대한 뇌 과학, 생물학, 문화 인류학 등 간 학문적 연구의 가능성을 인정하지만 도덕 심리학의 규범성을 확보하기 위해서는 도덕철학적 분석과 이론화가 필요하다는 입장이다. 도덕의 작용은 합리적 의식적 추론과정은 물론 자동적 무의식적 암묵적 과정에 근거한다. 도덕적 추론만큼이나 직관도 도덕의 작용에서 중요하기 때문에 간 학문적 연구가 필요하며 도덕교육의 연구에 학제적 연구결과를 적극적으로 활용해야 한다.

한국판 청소년용 도덕발달수준 평가도구의 개발 (DEVELOPMENT OF THE KOREAN FORM OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT INVENTORY FOR ADOLESCENTS)

  • 본 연구는 일반 청소년은 물론 문제 행동을 나타낼 가능성이 보다 높은 소위 비행청소년을 대상으로, 도덕발달수준을 평가할 수 있는, 신뢰도와 타당도가 갖추어진 평가도구를 개발함에 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 개발하고자 하는 평가도구이며, 중학교 1학년에서 고등학교 3학년까지 남녀 한 학급씩을 무작위 선정한 507명을 포함하여 품행장애군과 정신과 환자대조군 각 28명씩을 검사대상으로 하였다. 연구방법으로는 우선 평가도구의 골격이 되는 Rest의 원문에 관하여 그 검사도구의 제작 및 신뢰도와 타당도 검사 과정과 결과를 숙지하였다. 그 다음으로 우리의 문화와 정서에 맞는 이야기 구성을 하였는데, 이 과정에서는 정신과 전문의 두 명과 임상심리학 전문가 한 명과의 의견교환 및 자문으로 작성하였다. 일차적으로 만들어진 평가도구는 중학생 여섯 명을 대상으로 사전검사를 실시하였으며 사전검사에서 나타난 보다 실제적 측면에서 평가도구의 문제점을 검토하여 최종 평가도구를 구성하였다. 최종완성된 평가도구의 타당도 평가에는 세 가지 방법이 사용되었는데, 첫째로 구성타당도를 살펴본 결과, 발달에 따른 구성 요인의 변화를 보기 위하여 학년의 증가에 따른 도덕발달수준의 증가 여부를 살펴보았는데, 학년의 증가라는 발달에 따라 본 연구의 구성 요인이라고 할 수 있는 도덕적 판단능력의 분명한 증가를 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째로 기존의 간이형 설문도구와 비교하여 보는 공존타당도를 보았는데, 두 도구간의 상관계수는 0.87이었다. 세째로 변별타당도는 품행장애군, 정신과 환자대조군, 정상대조군 각 28명씩을 대상으로 시행한 성적을 비교분석으로 평가하였는바, 품행장애군과 다른 두 군간의 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 신뢰도 평가를 위하여 정상 청소년 42명과 품행장애군 28명을 대상으로 3주 간격으로 검사-재검사를 시행하여 평가분석하였는데, 그 상관계수는 정상군에서는 0.88, 품행장애군에서는 0.63이었다. 각 이야기와 전체간의 상관 정도를 측정하여 내적일치도를 구한 결과 Cronbach’s alpha가 0.71이었다.

또래괴롭힘 상황에서 주변또래의 잠재적 참여유형에 따른 사회인지적 특성 비교 (The Traits of Social Cognition Associated With Latent Participants of Bullying)

  • Objective: The literature on participant roles in bullying lacks empirical evidence to explicate what differentiates latent participation. The purpose of the present study was to examine social cognition in early adolescents (i.e., empathy, prosocial moral reasoning, and perceived group norm) with latent participants of bullying. Methods: The participants included 279 adolescents (129 girls; M age = 13.5 years) in two middle schools. Results: The result showed that empathy, prosocial moral reasoning, and perceived group norm were possible determinants of latent bullying. First, high levels of empathy (especially empathic concern and perspective taking) was associated with latent defenders. Second, helping decision of prosocial moral dilemma and prosocial moral reasoning were associated with complex situational cues. Third, latent reinforcer positively indentified the group norm with regard to bullying. Conclusion: The results are discussed in terms of practical implications for anti-bullying programs and educational practitioners.

  • This study is to evaluate the morality of teenagers with regard to features of justice. On the basis of the findings, an online morality level test system is designed and implemented to help students understand themselves better and to increase moral maturity through this self-test method based on Kohlberg's Morality Development Level. The main purpose of this study is to help students test and evaluate their morality, and it will be contributed to slough off egocentrism and to orient a relationship based on a mutual respect by using the embodied system. If this system can be applied successfully, an effective improvement on students' further education guidance may be gained because the test and its results are made in the system simultaneously. Also this easy and fast test system can attain much more economical effects than a written test.

가정의 사회화유형이 아동의 도덕발달수준 및 단계지체에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Socialization Patterns in Family on the Child's Moral Development and Moral Stage Delay)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic material of positive effects on moral development through educational intervention between parent and chile reciprocal. The major findings were as follows: (1)Child's moral development level was a significant difference according to the level of socialization patterns. (2) Predictability of subvariables of socialization patterns revealed an order of mode of social control, role system and communication system. (3) Therer was a significant difference between stage 2 and the other of stages in socialization patterns. (4) There was a significant difference between stage 2 and stage P in role system. (5) There was no difference between stage 2 and the other of stages in communication system, mode of social control, IQ, and S.E.S.

3, 4, 5세 유아의 공격행동에 대한 도덕 판단 및 정당화 추론과 틀린믿음 이해와의 관계 (The Moral Judgment and Justification Reasoning in terms of Aggressive Behavior by 3, 4 and 5 Year Olds : The Relationship to Children's False Belief Understanding)

  • The purposes of this study were (1) to investigate children's moral judgment, justification reasoning in terms of aggressive behavior, and (2) it examined the relationship to false belief understanding. Children aged between 3 to 5 years(N = 120) participated in this study. Each child was interviewed individually and responded questions designed to measure his/her moral judgment and justification reasoning and false belief understanding. The 12 pictorial tasks consisted of selfish and altruistic intentions and three different types of acts (physical, verbal, relational) as responses to aggressive behavior. The results indicated that the kind of moral judgment used was different according to the intention and the types of acts. There were significant differences in children's justification reasoning according to the age and the types of acts. There was a positive relationship between false belief understanding and moral judgment, justification reasoning. This paper also provided a detailed discussion of the results and recommendations in the context of more general cognitive developmental changes.

부모의 심리적 통제와 아동의 도덕적 이탈이 또래괴롭힘 참여자 역할행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Parental Psychological Control and Moral Disengagement on Children's Participant Role Behavior in a Bullying Situations)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of moral disengagement concerning the parental psychological control on children's participant role behavior in bullying situations. For the purposes of this research, a group of participants comprising total 541 students of fifth, seventh, eighth, tenth and eleventh grades from schools based in Seoul and Incheon were surveyed. As far as research methods are concerned, scales for parental psychological control, moral disengagement and participant role behavior in a bullying situation were used. The main findings of this research were as follows. First, by gender, there was a significant difference in participant role behavior in bullying. By grade, a significant difference was shown in parental psychological control, participant role behavior in bullying and moral disengagement. Second, variables affecting participant role behavior in bullying situations were found to be influenced by the types of role behavior respectively as well as by students' grade levels. Third, moral disengagement concerning the influence of parental psychological control on participant role behavior was found to have a full mediating effect on bystander behavior among elementary school students and bullying behavior among middle school and high school students.

임상 간호사의 도덕성 발달과 윤리적 가치관에 대한 연구 (A Study of Moral Development and Ethical Values of the Nurse)

  • This study is to provide the basic sources to develop educational data that can establish ethical values with research on the interrelation between moral development and ethical values of nurses. The subjects of this study are the convenience sample from 111 nurses working in clinical settings from 5 general hospitals located in Pusan area. The questionnairs for this study are comprised two parts: Part 1 is SRM-SF(1995) guestionnaire, and translated by Kil, 1m Ju(1997): Part 2 is the guestion papers about the ethical values, and disigned by Jung, Hee Ja. The data were collected from June lth to 31th, 1997 and analyzed by S.A.S(Statistical Analysis System) Package for frequency, percent, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of the study is as the followings: 1) According to the moral development. the nurses are in the levels of Stage3 or Transition3/4, which are generally focused on the personal relations or personality. Thus, nurses are considered to need to get the stage4 of education that helps them recognize a person as a member of society. a family as an unit of society, and human life as the values of human dignity. 2) According to the ethical values, nurses have the positive ethical values of respecting the right of the patients, providing information, keeping the secret, truth. and credit of patients. But they also experience some troubles by the patients to care and the clinical situation. Thus, to overcome the problems, nurses are considered to need to get the education that establishs the right ethical values. 3) The analysis result on the interrelation between moral development level and ethical values shows as r=0.28 and p=0.003. This indicates that the interrelation between them is low. In conclusion, it is considered that the moral development level is viewed broadly from a person and family to a society, and then it can affect to the ethical values positively.
