청소년기(靑少年期)에서 척추체형(脊椎體形)과 자각증(自覺症)과의 임상적(臨床的) 고찰(考察) (A Clinical Study of Spine Distortion and Self-conscious Pain in High School Students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the spine distortion and self-conscious pain in high school students. Method : Using the phase-shifting moire developed by KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) we measured the back surface distortion, and using questionnaire investigation, we investigated the self-conscious pain in 30 high school students(17 boy students and 13 girl students). Results : This study show that low back pain was most cases, and next headache, upper back pain, abdominal pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, leg pain, chest pain and gluteal pain. The ratio of each self-conscious pain was 90.0%, 86.7%, 83.3%, 83.3%, 80.0%, 76.7%, 66.7%, 33.3%, 33.3%, 30.0%. In remainder value of left and right shoulder, above of 3.0 were three students., above 2.0 to bellow 3.0 were 10 students, bellow 2.0 were 17 students. In remainder value of left and right gluteal, above of 2.0 was one students, above 1.0 to bellow 2.0 were 18 students, bellow 1.0 were 10 students. In remainder value of cervical vertical line to left and right axillae, above 4.0 was 1 student, above 3.0 to bellow 2.0 were 2 students, above 2.0 to bellow 3.0 were 3 students, above 1.0 to bellow 2.0 were 16 students, bellow 1.0 were 7 students. In remainder value of gluteal vertical line to left and right axillae, above 6.0 was 1 student, above 5.0 to bellow 6.0 were 7 students, above 4.0 to bellow 5.0 were 3 students, above 3.0 to bellow 4.0 were 2 students, above 2.0 to bellow 3.0 were 5 students, above 1.0 to bellow 2.0 were 7 students, bellow 1.0 were 5 students. In remainder value of cervical vertical line to gluteal vertical line, above 40 was 1 student, above 3.0 to bellow 4.0 were 4 students, above 3.0 to bellow 3.0 were 6 students, above 1.0 to bellow 2.0 were 8 students, bellow 1.0 were 11 students. Conclusion : It is suggested that the significant correlation exist between the spinal distortion and self-conscious pain. And we can find many cases as spinal distortion in high school students also. We have to study further more about juvenile postural distortion and it's prevention.

A New Approach to the Whole Body Intervention Program(General Coordinative Manipulation Program) of Nonspecific Back Disorder

  • Since areas of pain and dysfunction of musculoskeletal typically suffered by the patients with back disorders spread all over the body, WBIP(GCM Program) for the primary treatment and management is required. The purpose of this study is to analyze if WBIP(GCM Program) based on the hyper/hypomobility pattern of Four Body Types can identify the effective treatment of back disorders and the effect on the postural balanced restoration of the spine and extremities. Non-specific back disorder is still a major reason for sick leave. And moreover, its been reported that there was often recurrence to the patients whose symptom had been diminished. As a WBIP(GCM Program) based on kinematic chain patterns of Four Body Types, this study gave a new information on the effective diagnosis, treatment and management of non-specific back disorders. 337 patients above the twenty-five years old with the non-specific back disorders at the hospital and oriental medical clinics at Kyungnam and Busan areas in South Korea from August 24th, 2000 to Feb 23rd, 2001 have randomly been assigned to four experimental groups such as Whole Body Intervention Program Group, Physical Therapy Group like modality treatments, Acupuncture-Treatment Group, and Placebo Control Group. According to intervention program applied to the each four group for three times per week(twelve times per 4weeks), as the time-series methods, we compared and evaluated the body status of the pretest with that of post treatment completion of four week, three month, and six month, respectively. As the analytical method of measurement, our researchers used the Moire Interferometry Unit and Postural Kit that could measure the postural balance of spine and extremities. The collection of data was performed in the designated hospital and oriental medical clinics. For the analysis of the data, the SPSS 10.0 package program was used. X2-test has been taken in order to compare and analyze characteristics and GPES of the patients in four experimental groups. Repeated Measure ANOVA and Tukey post hoc test has been adopted in order to compare the effects of the balanced restoration of the spine and extremities among four Groups categorized for this study. Statistical significance was accepted at the 0.05 level of confidence The effect of the balanced restoration on the spine and extremities of the patients with non-specific back disorders has been proved in all of the Groups. As for the restoration degree, however, WBIP(GCM Program) Group produced the highest effectiveness in terms of the fact that it had a dense moire in comparison with the other three Groups and that the Moires of both sides had the same level by the time(p<0.01). WBIP(GCM Program) based on four tilting types of scapular and ilium and hyper/hypomobility pattern took a higher effect on the balanced restoration of the spine and extremities through a whole body as well as the treatment of back disorders than the other three Groups which the usual remedy without classification of body type had been applied to.

  • A dedicated reverse engineering(RE) system for rapid manufacturing of human head in a 3D bust has been developed. The first step in the process is to capture the surface details of a human head and shoulder by three scanners based upon the digital moire fringe technique. Then the multiple scans captured from different angles are aligned and merged into a single polygonal mesh, and the aligned data set is refined by smoothing, subdividing or hole filling process. Finally, the refined data set is sent to a 4-axis computer numerically control(NC) machine to manufacture a replica. In this paper, we mainly describe on the algorithms and software for aligning multiple data sets. The method is based on the recently popular Iterative Closest Point(ICP) algorithm that aligns different polygonal meshes into one common coordinate system. The ICP algorithm finds the nearest positions on one scan to a collection of points on the other scan by minimizing the collective distance between different scans. We also integrate some heuristics into the ICP to enhance the aligning process. A typical example is presented to validate the system and further research work is also discussed.

$Moir\'{e}$ Photography법에 의한 동작시 체표면 형태 변화에 관한 연구 -상지 및 견갑골 부위를 중심으로- (A Study on the Variation of the Skin Surface According to Arm Movement by $Moir\'{e}$ Photography Method -In the area of uppearm and shoulder blade-)

  • The surface change of upperarm and shoulder blade area are caused by the extensive upper limb movement, thus it is necessary to measure the amount of change for constructing the clothing. Moire photography was taken after plastic casters of upperarm and shoulder blade area was prepared. 1. For the shoulder blade area, subjects showed the same change of surface area for the various limb positions, wherease, for the upperarm only at the $0^{\circ}\;and\;180^{\circ}$ limb position, same change was observed. 2. As the movement of the upperarm was increased, surface area of axillary part was increased and that of shoulder part was decreased. 3. To make a bodice pattern, the minimum size of the back with the ease were $\frac{B}{4}$+3.13 cm R for normal wear and $\frac{B}{4}$+5.75 cm for active wear. 4. As the movement of the arm was increased, the cross section for the upperarm were changed to elliptical shape. 5. For each horizontal basic line, there was a positive correlation between the amount of change of shoulder blad area and that of upperarm area.

  • 전자처리스페클패턴간섭법을 CW 레이저에 비디오 시스템과 화상 처리 장치를 조합하여 평판의 변위를 측정하는데 이용하였다. 과거의 스트레인 게이지나 모아레법과는 달리 전자처리스페클패턴간섭법(ESPI)은 측정물에 아무런 처리를 할 필요가 없고, 완전한 비접촉 측정이 가능하며, 또한 감도가 높은 이점이 있다. 본 연구에서 사용한 시험편은 로드셀과 같은 방향으로 하중이 걸리도록 하였다. 시험편은 평판이고 스트레인 게이지를 부착하였다. 이 연구는 전자처리스페클패턴간섭법에 의해 변위와 응력 분포를 구하여 스트레인 게이지와의 비교함으로써 전자처리스페클패턴간섭법의 측정 정밀도에 대해 검토하고자 한다.

  • Recently in the display industry, demands for high-luminance and resolution of display devices have been steadily increasing. Generally, micro linear patterns are applied to an optical film in order to improve its properties of light. However, these patterns are easily viewed to eyes and moire phenomenon can be occurred. Micro random patterns are proposed as a method to solve these problems, increasing light-luminance and light-diffusion. However, conventional pattern manufacturing technologies have long processing times and high costs making it difficult to apply to large area molds. In order to combat this issue, micro-random patterns are formed by using a roll to plate indentation method along with abrasive paper tools composed of AlSiO2, SiC, and diamond grains. Also, forming properties, such as size and fill-factor of random patterns, are analyzed depending on type, mesh of abrasive paper tools, and indentation forces.

등가 이방성 점탄성 모델 기반 열 응력에 따른 휨 해석 기법 개발 (Development of Warpage Simulation Method according to Thermal Stress based on Equivalent Anisotropic Viscoelastic Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 재료의 이방성 점탄성 거동을 고려한 해석 기법을 개발하여 휨(Warpage) 해석의 정합성을 개선하고자 하였다. 먼저, 이방성 점탄성 거동 구현을 위해 구리 패턴(Cu trace) 및 범프(Bump)가 존재하는 패키지를 모델링 하였다. 복잡한 형상의 범프 영역은 대표체적요소 모델을 기반으로 등가 이방성 점탄성 물성 및 열 팽창계수를 도출하였다. 도출된 물성을 기반으로 패키지에 0~125도의 열 주기(Thermal cycle)를 가하였으며, 열 주기에 따른 패키지의 휨 경향을 확인하였다. 해석 결과의 검증을 위해 해석 모델과 동일한 패키지를 제작하였고, 쉐도우 모아레 간섭계(Shadow Moire interferometer)를 통해 열 주기에 따른 실제 패키지의 휨 정도를 측정하였다. 결과적으로 구리 패턴, 범프 등의 요소가 고려된 등가 이방성 점탄성 해석 기법의 적용으로 5 ㎛ 이내의 오차로 패키지의 휨 정도를 계산하고 휨의 형태를 예측할 수 있었다.

디지털 사진영상의 크기조절과정에서 유실되는 정보를 이용한 비트심도의 확장 (Research for Bit-depth Conversion Development by Detection Lost Information to Resizing Process for Digital Photography)

  • 디지털 사진영상은 8비트의 음영으로 이루어져 있다. 이것은 0부터 255까지, 총 256 단계의 레벨값으로 나눠지며 자연수에 해당하는 음영만을 표현하고 소수점 이하 실수 자리의 음영은 표현할 수 없다. 하지만 영상의 크기조절과정을 수행할 때 보간 수식에 의하여 소수점이하자리가 발생하게 되지만 최종적인 출력에서는 '버림연산'에 의하여 사라지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이렇게 버려지는 소수점 이하 자리를 이용하여 사진영상의 비트 심도를 확장할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 이것은 크기조절 이후 콘트라스트 조절에 사용하여 사진영상의 해상도 저하를 최소화하는데 사용한다. SFR 측정을 통하여 포토샵 결과와 비교할 경우 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법이 원본의 특성을 더 잘 유지함을 알 수 있다.

FM Screen을 이용한 高精細 스크린 인쇄에 관한 연구 (A study on the screen printing of high definition used FM screen)

  • Screen printing is a stencil process whereby ink is transferred to the substrate through a stencil supported by a fine fabric mesh. Therefore screen had a tendency to distort and swell, as ink was deposited between the fibers, and were difficult to clean. The tow importance of stencil parameters that affect print quality are stencil thread diameter and the fabric thickness because of their influence on both ink deposit and print definition. Since screen printing inks can be formulated to adhere to almost any surface, and the printing process itself can be handled almost any substrate in a wide variety of shape, screen printing is a very versatile process. The small size pronting is reproduced image used screen printing because the surface of substrates is not suited at screen printing method. In screen printing, the need of high definition printing is gradually increasing according to developing special inks. A conventional haftone, so called AM screening, is simple and easy to implement, but the haftone dot patterns by using this method are not free for the moire fringe. This paper is used densitometry and image analysis to investigate relation with printing according to screen mesh, opening size and resolution of copy in image reproduction used FM screen. We had the good result of dot gain and tone reproduction on the screen printing of high definition using FM screen.

주사형 탐침 현미경을 이용한 Ru(0001) 위 그래핀의 에피탁시얼 성장 조건에 대한 연구 (Epitaxial Growth of Graphene by Surface Segregation and Chemical Vapor Deposition on Ru(0001) Studied with Scanning Tunneling Microscopy)

  • 금속 기판 위에 성장한 그래핀은 원자구조와 전자구조 연구에 우수한 기반이 된다. 그래핀은 금소 기판에서 탄소의 surface segregation 이나 chemical vapor deposition으로 성장할 수 있는데, 이 두 방법의 성장 양상에 대한 비교 연구는 아직까지 없었다. 본 연구에서는 surface segregation, 흡착된 에틸렌의 post-annealing, 에틸렌의 high-temperature dose 등 3 방법으로 성장한 그래핀의 성장구조를 주사형 터널링 현미경으로 연구했다. 처음 2종류의 방법에서는 $100nm^2$ 수준의 작은 그래핀 영역이 나타났고, 3 번째 방법에서는 $10^4nm^2$ 보다 큰 그래핀이 육각형 무아레 무늬와 함께 타나났다. 본 연구에서는 에틸렌의 high-temperature dose 방법이 추가적인 분자성장 등에 필요한 넓은 그래핀을 성장하기에 가장 좋은 방법임을 보였다.
