영농형 태양광 발전 시스템 구축 및 활성화 방안 연구 (Building an Agrophotovoltaic System and Suggesting Activation Plans)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain the agrophotovolatic system built by the Korea South-East Power Company and to propose methods to activate the agrophotovolatic system for the development of the renewable energy industry. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a three-step simulation in order to design a photovoltaic module, and we built the agrophotovolatic system based on the results of the simulation. Then, we analyzed the monthly generation of power and the rice harvests produced on farmland using the photovoltaic module. Based on the results of the analysis, we proposed institutional improvements to increase the use of the agrophotovolatic system, and we proposed new business models to increase the participation of farmers and business persons. Findings When we compared the agrophotovolastic system with the general photovoltaic system, we found that the agrophotovoltaic system had higher utilization rates and power generation. An analysis of rice produced on farmland using the photovoltaic module showed that more than 80% of the rice produced on general farmland was harvested. We suggested activation plans that involved the revision of the farmland law and the introduction of renewable energy certificate (REC). We also proposed a land lease model and a farmer participation model as two new business models, and we conducted economic evaluations and sensitivity analyses for both models.

Integrating a Machine Learning-based Space Classification Model with an Automated Interior Finishing System in BIM Models

  • The need for adopting automation technologies to improve inefficiencies in interior finishing modeling work is increasing during the Building Information Modeling (BIM) design stage. As a result, the use of visual programming languages (VPL) for practical applications is growing. However, undefined or incorrect space designations in BIM models can hinder the development of automated finishing modeling processes, resulting in erroneous corrections and rework. To address this challenge, this study first developed a rule-based automated interior finishing detailing module for floors, walls, and ceilings. In addition, an automated space integrity checking module with 86.69% ACC using the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) model was developed. These modules were integrated into a design automation module for interior finishing, which was then verified for practical utility. The results showed that the automation module reduced the time required for modeling and integrity checking by 97.6% compared to manual work, confirming its utility in assisting BIM model development for interior finishing works.

  • The worldwide CPV(Concentrated Photo Voltaic) market has been increased rapidly due to the increase in large-scale PV(Photo Voltaic) plants which are situated in sun-rich areas with either a Mediterranean or equatorial-type climate. CPV systems are arguably some of the most important devices in the production of electricity within regions with a sun-rich climate, particularly those which benefit from abundant direct solar irradiation. We have developed a 500X CPV module with rated power of 170Wp. The CPV module must satisfy the constraint of having a sensitive tracking accuracy due to the limited tolerance of the acceptance angle in intrinsic optical design. In this study, the module's acceptance angle used was designed with a tolerance angle of ${\pm}1^{\circ}$ in the secondary optics design. In general, non-concentrated module type 2-axis trackers have a tolerance angle larger than ${\pm}1^{\circ}$ due to standard silicon-type modules which are insensitive to the tracking accuracy of the sun. They have a tolerance angle of ${\pm}2{\sim}4^{\circ}$, which fails to exert a significant influence on the performance of the module. This paper provides a study of an experimental variation of the efficiency of the CPV module in terms of its tracking accuracy. Also, the performance of the module is studied from the perspective of temperature and direct irradiation.

  • This paper was proposed Intelligent and wireless USN/RFID module system that can overcome disadvantage of existing RFID system with no sensing module and wire communication. The proposed USN/RFID system was designed and fabricated. After fabricating new system, we analyzed the characteristics of USN/RFID module. After design VCO block that is point circuit to develop next generation system one chip of RFID system, we were carried out simulation and verified the validity. this paper was showed that VCO system was enough usable in wireless network module. USN/RFID Reader module shows superior result that validity awareness distance corresponds to 30 M in the case of USN and to 5 M in RFID Reader's case and 900 MHz of commercial frequency does practical use enoughly in range of high frequency. The USN/RFID Reader module is considered to act big role to Ubiqitous industry offering computing surrounding of new concept that is intelligence type service and that was associated to real time location system(RTLS), environment improvement/supervision, national defense, traffic administration etc.

Rough Set Theory와 Support Vector Machine 알고리즘을 이용한 RSIDS 설계 (A Design of RSIDS using Rough Set Theory and Support Vector Machine Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 RST(Rough Set Theory)과 SVM(Support Vector Machine) 알고리즘을 이용한 RSIDS (RST and SVM based Intrusion Detection System)를 설계하였다. RSIDS는 PrePro(Preprocessing) 모듈, RRG(RST based Rule Generation) 모듈, 그리고 SAD(SVM based Attack Detection) 모듈로 구성된다. PrePro 모듈은 수집한 정보를 RSIDS의 데이터 형식에 맞게 변경한다. RRG 모듈은 공격 자료를 분석하여 공격 규칙을 생성하고, 그 규칙을 이용하여 대량화된 데이터에서 공격정보를 추출하고, 그리고 추출한 공격정보를 SAD 모듈에 전달한다. SAD 모듈은 추출된 공격 정보를 이용하여 공격을 탐지하여 관리자에게 통보한다. 그 결과, 기존의 SVM과 비교해볼 때, RSIDS는 평균 공격 탐지율 77.71%에서 85.28%로 향상되었으며, 평균 FPR은 13.25%에서 9.87%로 감소하였다. 따라서 RSIDS는 기존의 SVM을 이용한 공격 탐지 기법보다 향상되었다고 할 수 있다.

에어캡 적층을 통한 에어캡 벽 모듈 개발 (Development of Aircap Wall Module through the Lamination of Aircap)

  • The insulation performance of aircaps has been recognized and various studies regarding the aircap as a solution to increased building energy consumption are being carried out. However, the aircap is not durable and therefore it cannot play the role of an independent finishing material. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to suggest an aircap wall module with improved durability through the lamination of the aircap and verify its effectiveness by evaluating its energy saving performance for lighting and air conditioning through a full-scale testbed. The conclusions of this study are as follows. 1) The aircap wall module featuring a laminated aircap that is being proposed in this study can save lighting energy due to the permeability of the aircap in comparison to previous insulating materials. 2) The aircap wall module with a laminated aircap is effective in improving heating and air-conditioning energy saving when it is more than 15 cm-thick during summer and winter in comparison to a 5 cm-thick prefabricated panel. 3) The aircap wall module featuring a laminated aircap is effective in improving lighting and heating and air-conditioning energy saving when it is 10 cm- and 5 cm-thick during summer and winter, respectively, in comparison to a 5 cm-thick prefabricated panel.

  • In this paper, a research for the knowledge based configuration design software development of a train vehicle has been presented. Parametric design and knowledge based design concepts have been introduced for rapid design changes and analyses using a commercial CAD software, $CATIA^{/circledR}$ Knowledgeware module. Positions and dimensions of door, small window, large window, and number of seats were used as design parameters. It is crucial for train vehicle design because it enables rapid conceptual design by instant configuration changes. The results of this research can be used as one sub module of the multidisciplinary train vehicle design software and provide a basic data for rolling stock behavior and driver cab ergonomics of a train vehicle.

로봇 설계 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Robot Design Program)

  • This paper presents the development of a virtual robot design program. Robot design requires numerical software, robot solution software and multi-body dynamics software to complete several designs. However using a commercialized software implies some disadvantages, such as the waste of time and money it costs to learn how to use the software. We developed a virtual robot design program with which a user can design a robot with rapidity and reliability. The virtual robot design program is composed of robot kinematics module and robot dynamics module. The program is powerful software which may be used to solve various problems of a robot. The 3D animator and a 2D/3D graph of the program can analyze the design results into visual data. The virtual robot design program is expected to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the robot industry.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.3-2.7GHz의 WiMAX용 TDD 중계기의 송수신 안테나 제어를 위해서 상향링크 구간과 하향링크 구간에 대한 구분 신호를 생성하는 모듈을 설계 및 구현하였다. RF 처리부와 Baseband 처리부로 나뉘어 설계하였으며, 본 회로의 기능은 WiMAX 신호와 시간 동기를 맞추고, 상향링크 구간과 하향링크 구간에 대한 구분 신호를 생성하는 것이므로, RF 처리부에는 수신경로만 구현되어 있다. 또한 RF 처리부의 대부분을 하나의 칩으로 제작하여 설계 면적을 최소화 하였으며, WiMAX 신호의 Preamble과 DL-MAP 정보를 검출하기 위해서 WiMAX Modem을 사용하여 Baseband 처리부를 설계하였다. 본 설계는 국내외의 2.3-2.7GHz WiMAX 신호에 대해 모두 처리가 가능하다.

하이브리드 슈퍼커패시터를 이용한 50kW급 에너지 저장 장치 설계 및 전기적 특성 (The Design and Electrical Characteristics of 50kW Energy Storage System Using Hybrid Supercapacitor)

  • This paper describes the characteristics of a hybrid supercapacitor module for power quality stabilization. Hybrid supercapacitor is an promising energy storage device that positioned between conventional EDLC and Li-ion battery. A cylindrical 7500F hybrid supercapacitor ($60{\times}138mm$) was assembled by using the $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ electrode as an anode and activated carbon as a cathode. Considering the ESR and efficiency has been designed to module with 41.6F 480V design results in 180 series combination. In order to determine the characteristics of the hybrid supercapacitor module for power system, hybrid supercapacitor cells were connected in series with active balancing circuit. As a result of measuring the 50kw UPS, it was discharged at the current of 104A~143A during the discharge in the voltage range of 350V~480V, and the compensation time at discharge was measured to be about 30s. These results can be used to stabilization of power quality by applying hybrid supercapacitor module.
