내고장성 디지털 조속기의 신뢰성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reliability Improvement of a Fault Tolerant Digital Governor)

  • In this paper, fault tolerant digital governor is designed to realize ceaseless controlling and to improve the reliability of control system. Designed digital governor huts duplex I/O module and triplex CPU module and also 2 out of 3 voting algorithm and self diagnostic ability. The Processor module of the system(SIDG-3000) is developed based on 32 Bit industrial microprocessor, which guaranteed high quality of the module and SRAM for data also SRAM for command are separated. The process module also includes inter process communication function and power back up function (SRAM for back-up). System reliability is estimated by using the model of Markov process. It is shown that the reliability of triplex system in mission time can be dramatically improved compared with a single control system Designed digital governor system is applied after modelling of the steam turbine generator system of Buk-Cheju Thermal Power Plant. Simulation is carried out to prove the effectiveness of the designed digital governor system

User-friendly Automatic Polishing Robot System and Its Integrated Operating Program

  • Polishing a die that has free-form surfaces is a time-consuming and tedious job, and requires a considerable amount of high-precision skill. In order to reduce the polishing time and cope with the shortage of skilled workers, an automatic polishing robot system was developed. The polishing robot system is composed of two subsystems, a three-axis machining center and a two-axis polishing head. The machining center is controlled by a FANUC controller, and the polishing head by DSP controller. The system has five degrees of freedom and is able to keep the polishing tool normal to the die surface during operation. To easily operate the developed polishing robot system, this study developed an integrated operating program in the Windows environment. The program consists of five modules: a polishing data generation module, a code separation module, a polishing module, a graphic simulator module, and a teaching module. Also, the automatic teaching system was developed to easily obtain teaching data and it consists of a three dimensional joystick and a proximity sensor. Also, to evaluate the performance of the integrated operating program and the polishing robot system, polishing experiments of a die of shadow mask were carried out.

PVT 시스템의 PV 모듈 및 태양열 집열기 대비 성능 및 효율 비교분석 (The Performance and Efficiency Analysis of a PVT System Compared with a PV module and a Solar collector)

  • A photovoltaic/thermal(PVT)solar system is the solar technology that allows for simultaneous conversion of solar energy into both electricity and heat. This paper compared the performance of PVT system with a conventional PV module and solar collector and analyzed electrical and thermal efficiency of PVT system in terms of solar irradiance and inlet temperature of the working fluid. Based on the experimental data, thermal and electrical efficiencies of the glazed PVT system were 57.9% and 14.27% under zero reduced temperature condition which were lower by 13.6% than the solar thermal absorber plate and by 0.08% than the PV module respectively. For the unglazed PVT system, it had lower thermal efficiency than the solar thermal absorber plate but higher electrical performance than the PV module due to the cooling effect by the working fluid. However, total efficiency of the glazed PVT system was 72.2% which was higher than combined efficiencies of the solar collector and PV module. Besides, total efficiency of the PVT system would be much higher if calculated based on unit area.

  • This paper describes development of automatic flight control system for an unmanned target drone which is operated by Korean army as for anti-air gun shooting training. Current target drone is operated by pilot control of on-board servo motor via remote control system. Automatic flight control system for the target drone greatly reduces work load of ground pilot and can increase application area of the drone. Most UAVs being operated now days use high-priced sensors as AHRS and IMU to measure the attitude, but those are costly. This paper introduces the development of low-cost automatic flight control system with low-cost sensors. The integrated automatic flight control system has been developed by integrating combining power module, switching module, monitoring module and RC receiver as an one module. The performance of automatic flight control system is verified by flight test.

  • 본 논문에서는 학교, 병원, 관공서와 같은 공공기관에서 사용할 수 있는 멀티 캐스팅 방송 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 멀티 캐스팅 방송 시스템은 다양한 멀티미디어 교육매체를 활용할 수 있도록 하였으며, 네트워크를 이용한 원격 제어가 가능하도록 고려하였다. 또한 개발된 방송 시스템은 선택적 개별 방송과 그룹 방송이 가능한 스피커 제어 모듈과 다양한 교육매체의 효율적인 활용을 위한 AV 콘텐츠 제어 모듈 및 조명 제어 모듈을 포함하고 있다. 그리고 통신과정에서는 외란에 강인한 RS-485C 통신을 이용하였으며, 사용자 중심의 GUI 기반 통합 제어 시스템을 개발하여 운영의 효율성 향상을 모색하였다.

  • A remote data communication system for monitoring of NC machine fault diagnosis and status is developed. This system communicates with host PC by using dial-up communication method on PSTN. The developed system consists of (1)remote communication module among NC's and host PC using PSTN, (2) 8 channels analog data sensing module, (3) digital I/O module for control of NC machine, (4) communication module between NC machine and remote data communication system using RS-232c, and (5) Software man-machine interface. This system may be applied for remote sensing of the status in Fms. To show the veridity of the developed system, several examples are illustrated.

  • Nowadays, technologies such as RFID, sensor network makes our life comfortable more and more. In this paper we propose a wearable computing system for blind and deaf person who can be easily out of sight from our technology. We are making a wearable computing system that is consisted of embedded board to processing data, ultrasonic sensors to get distance data and motors that make vibration as a signal to see the screen for a deaf person. This system offers environmental informations by text and voice. For example, distance data from a obstacle to a person are calculated by data compounding module using sensed ultrasonic reflection time. This data is converted to text or voice by main processing module, and are serviced to a handicapped person. Furthermore we will extend this system using a voice recognition module and text to voice convertor module to help communication among the blind and deaf persons.

  • Recently, electric power system's situation grows gradually so Fault Diagnosis is being complicated and is felt difficult. And ability that operator who is using electric power system must do correct judgment of power system state, and can cope at fault of power system state is required. Therefore, large size power system is divided into predefined minimum module, and define each module accident type. We use and compare defined accident type, we can know easily accident that happen forward. Therefore, large size power system using module that is defined to each section common accident type search in this paper. Therefore, large size power system using module that is defined to each section, we search for common accident type. And when accident in electric power system happens, I wish to explain about process that can do fault diagnosis in more easy and fast time, because using accident type that it is verified in front.

Generalized Stability Criterion for Multi-module Distributed DC System

  • The stability issues of a multi-module distributed DC power system without current-sharing loop are analyzed in this study. The physical understanding of the terminal characteristics of each sub-module is focused on. All the modules are divided into two groups based on the different terminal property types, namely, impedance (Z) and admittance (Y) types. The equivalent circuits of each group are established to analyze the stability issues, and the mathematical equations of the equivalent circuits are derived. A generalized criterion for multi-module distributed systems is proposed based on the stability criterion in a cascade system. The proposed criterion is independent of the power flow direction.

  • A Remote Monitoring Server(RMS) server which uses Internet and World Wide Web is constructed for SMD in-line system. Hardware base consists of server computer, virtual SMD in-line system and other computers. Software includes assignment of server, RDBMS and various modules in server home page. Web browser provide production quantity, bad PCB quantity, error number and error message in virtual SMD module, user information in setup module, detailed error information in fault diagnosis module, fault history in fault history module and customer information in customer service management module. These functions of the RMS helps a decrease of non-operation time and a service response as fast as possible.
