유사 사례를 이용한 공압 요소 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Pneumatic Components Using Similar Case)

  • It is one of the most important thing to select pneumatic components in pneumatic system design. For the purpose of selecting pneumatic components, case objects are described as a knowledge representation and the most similar case object must be selected by decision making in computer. In this paper, case objects are represented using the methodology that is used for CBR(Case Base Reasoning) and methodology that the most similar case can be selected is Proposed. Algorithm VIWNNR(Varying Index Weight-based Nearer Neighbor Retrieval) is accomplished by varying index weight, that is not considering a index matching as true or false but varying a size of weight according to the degree of matching and enhance the flexibility of SCRM(Similar Case Retrieval Module) involving fuzzy concept in matching the cases. SCRM is tested In verify the feasibility to select pneumatic linear components and is peformed effectively.

  • Recently, studying on modeling the emotion of a robot has become issued among fields of a humanoid robot and an interaction of human and robot. Especially, modeling of the motivation, the emotion, the behavior, and so on, in the robot, is hard and need to make efforts to use our originality. In this paper, new modeling using mathematical formulations to represent the emotion and the behavior selection is proposed for the software robot with virtual sensor modules. Various Points which affect six emotional states such as happy or sad are formulated as simple exponential equations with various parameters. There are several experiments with seven external sensor inputs from virtual environment and human to evaluate this modeling.

Dynamic Analysis of Spar Hull Transportation

  • The transportation of a truss-spar hull from a transport barge of 6000 ton topside module on the spar hull is investigated in the present study. Two possible routes from a fabrication yard in Teeside, England to the Gulf of Mexico are considered in the paper. The results of motion responses of the transport barge obtained from a spectral analysis and the limiting criteria of sea fastening, deck wetness and lateral acceleration are compared and the route selection is discussed. Long-crested waves and short-crested seas as well as the joint probabilities of significant wave heights and wave periods in different sea areas are considered. Generally speaking, the results for long-crested seas are higher than those for short-crested waves.

  • Power Control and Distribution Unit (PCDU) plays roles of power generation control for solar array panel, power storage control for battery system, power conversion for unregulated and regulated primary bus and power distribution to bus and payload system. The selection and design of the proper auxiliary power interface for PCDU depending on various mission is one of the most important step for electrical power subsystem design. In this paper, the general design approach of auxiliary power interface for PCDU which can be used for small-sized LEO satellites application is given. And, the auxiliary power design concept for always alived modules such as solar array regulator and house keeping module is also suggested.

  • The object of this study is the design of 3 phase on-board inverter. The key point in the inverter design is the selection of switching device, and its performance effects that of total system. In this study, six-step square wave inverter was designed using IGBT ( Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor ) which has the advantages of MOSFET and bipolar transistor as switching device. The condition of being small and light which is the one of requirements for on-board equipment was accomplished by using IGBT module and optimising the snubber circuit, and the reliablity was increased. It is confirmed that the designed inverter satisfies the required performance through the performance and environment test.

  • In order to achieve high accuracy of teaching and increase productivity using industrial robots in polishing process of dies, an off-line task programming system was developed on IBM-PC/386 under WINDOWS 3.0 operating system. The internal structure and the machematical basis of CAMPoli are described. Surface modeling technique of polishing dies with sculptured surfaces is introduced by poing data interpolation methodology through the use of CL-data transmitted from conventional CAM system. Tool selection, polishing speed, polishing pressure and kinds of tool motions can be determined and selected by user specified polishing variables. Task creation and verification of polishing path via computer graphics simulation of polishing tool can be done by the menu- driven function of CAMPoli system. Post-processing module is attached to generate robot language. Some simulation results are provided as verification means of the system.

  • The paper presents research for the established experiment environment of multi vehicle robot, localization algorithm that is based on vehicle control, and path tracking. The established experiment environment consists of ultrasonic positioning system, vehicle robot, server and wireless module. Ultrasonic positioning system measures positioning for using ultrasonic sensor and generates many errors because of the influence of environment such as a reflection of wall. For a solution of this fact, localization algorithm is proposed to determine a location using vehicle kinematics and selection of a reliable location data. And path tracking algorithm is proposed to apply localization algorithm and LOS, finally, that algorithms are verified via simulation and experimental

의사결정지원기법을 이용한 농촌유역 통합 수질관리모형의 개발 (Development of Integrated Water Quality Management Model for Rural Basins using Decision Support System.)

  • A decision support system DSS-WQMRA (Decision Support System-Water Quality Management in Rural Area) was developed to help regional planners for the water quality management in a rural basin. The integrated model DSS-WQMRA, written in JAVA, includes four subsystems such as a GIS, a database, water quality simulation models and a decision model. In the system, the GIS deals with landuse and the location of pollutant sources. The database manages each data and supplies input data for various water quality simulation models. the water quality simulation model is composed of the GWLF( Generalized Watershed Loading Function), PCLM(Pollutant Loading Calculation Module) and the WASP5 model. The decision model based on mixed integer programming is designed to determine optimal costs and thus allow the selection of managemental practices to meet the water quality criteria. The methodology was tested with an example application in the Bokha River Basin, Kyunggi Province in Korea. It was proved that the integrated model DSS-WQMRA could be very useful for water quality management including the non-point source pollution in rural areas.

목표가용도를 고려한 다계층 시스템의 최적 중복 설계 (Optimization of Redundancy Allocation in Multi Level System under Target Availability)

  • Purpose: System availability and life cycle cost are often used to evaluate the system performance and is influenced by the operation and maintenance characteristic. In this paper, we propose the method to improve life cycle cost and satisfy the target availability through redundancy allocation. Methods: We consider the redundancy is available at all items in multi level system. Thus, we assume that sub-assembly, module, components can be duplicated. Simulation and genetic algorithm are employed to optimize redundancy allocation. Results: Target availability is higher, the life cycle cost is increased. In addition, the items for redundancy are selected at higher level in multi level system if target availability is higher. Conclusion: We could know that target availability affects the duplication number of items and the selection of redundancy items. For further study, we will consider new optimization algorithms to compare with the proposed GA algorithm and improve optimization performance.
