유전자 알고리듬을 사용한 저전력 모듈 선택 (Low Power Module selection using Genetic Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 유전자 알고리듬을 이용하여 전력, 면적, 속도를 고려한 저전력 모듈 선택을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리듬은 최적의 모듈 선택을 통해서 전력 소모를 최소화 할 수 있다. 비교 실험에서는 최적 모듈 선택을 고려한 알고리듬은 최대 전력 감소량은 26.9 %를 얻을 수 있었고, 반면에 최소 전력 감소량은 9.0% 얻었다. 모든 벤치마크 평균 전력 감소량은 15.525%가 되었다.

  • Designer must cope with frequent changes in geometric information of automobile suspension module in the early stage of the design process. The authors developed the PSG(Parametric Set Generator) to create parametric models and to change geometric information concerning the lower arm, which is one of the important parts of the automobile suspension module. CAD models provided from the PSG can be utilized to assess fatigue durability via the FE modeling support system. This system provides easy and fast FE-modeling for a static and durability analysis of the lower arm. The PSG and the FE modeling support system are integrated using the e-engineering framework based on the JADE platform. In this study, a durability analysis as a case study for the lower arm manufactured at H company is performed, and the efficiency obtained is discussed.

  • We discussed various cover glass substrates available for photovoltaic (PV) modules, and investigated the fabrication methods of light trapping structures for the efficiency enhancement of PV modules: wet and dry etching or laser and direct patternings. We also introduced the analysis of haze at etched glass surfaces as a function of wavelength and also presented a anti-reflection coating technology for PV module.

  • This paper deals with the development of an expert process design system interfaced with CAD for porismatic parts in injection mold manufacture. The developed CAD/CAPP system consists of two modules such as CAD interface module and process design module. Parts are represented using AutoCAD system on the IBM PC/AT. CAD interface module recognizes form features and manufacturing features of the part using form feature recognition algorithm and manufacturing feature recognition rule base. Process design module selects operations and determines machine tools, cutting tools and operation sequencing by using knowledge base which is acquired from expert process planners. A case study is implemented to evaluate feasibilities of the function of the proposed system. The CAD/CAPP system can improve the efficiency of process design activities and reduce the time required for process design.

항만국통제 검사 모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Inspection Module for Port State Control)

  • Port State Control(PSC) plays important roles in ensuring the ship' safety as well as preserving the marine environment in port and coastal sea. The effect of PSC carried out according to the procedure and document offered by Tokyo MOU depends greatly on inspector and inspection technique. So, it is very important to inspect ships impartially with advanced method. In the case of Korea, the only 30 percent of ships with deficiencies visited to ports are inspected due to the lack of PSC inspectors. So new inspection technique and module are required in order to improve inspection efficiency and to resolve problems mentioned. In this paper, we introduce a module for PSC inspection and evaluate it by inspecting 10 model ships and comparing with present method. The proposed module is expected to obtain the objectivity of inspection, to offer inspection guideline and to determine the priority of inspection ships.

  • To survive in outdoor environments, photovoltaic modules rely on packaging materials to provide requisite durability. We analyzed the properties of encapsulant materials that are important for photovoltaic module packaging. The properties of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate(EVA) sheet in photovoltaic encapsulant materials have to meet conditions that are high optical transmittance, good adhesion and high cross-linking rate. The objective of this paper is to understand the property evaluation methods of EVA sheet. Through this research, we could confirm that properties of EVA sheet have an effect on durability and operating efficiency of photovoltaic module.

  • 결정된 변속선도에 의한 자동변속 패턴은 운전자에게 편리한 변속을 제공한다. 하지만, 운전자의 운전 성향이 개인마다 다양함으로 고정된 변속선도를 여러 운전자에게 동일하게 제공하는 것은 불만의 요소로 인식되고 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 운전자의 성향을 결정할 수 있는 입력을 이용한 학습 모듈을 설계하여 운전 성향을 판단하고자 한다. 판단된 운전 성향을 이용하여 변속선도를 조정함으로써 운전자의 의지에 부합되는 변속패턴을 제공하고자 한다. 실제 주행 시 얻은 데이터를 이용하여 제안된 모듈의 성능의 우수함을 보인다.

  • Building Integrated PV(BIPV) is one of the best fascinating PV application technologies. To apply PV module in building, various factors should be reflected such as installation position, shading, temperature, and so on. Especially a temperature should be considered, for it affects both electrical efficiency of a PV module and heating/cooling load in a building. It reports the effect of thermal characteristics of the PV module on generation performance. The study was performed by monitoring the temperature and experiment. The results showed that 1 degree temperature rise reduced about 0.48% of output power.

  • A preheating module for domestic heating facility will increase a energy efficiency. That collects the wasted heat of exhaust gas and saves the energy. So a heating load is decreased because of a preheating that has a heating energy. Using of a preheating module, a boiler can reduce frequent operation of a burner. So it is increased persistence, decreased discharging noxious gases. Therefore we will intend to develop a heating facility that is a convenient system for the saving energy.

A Study on Constructing Highly Adder/multiplier Systems over Galois Felds

  • This paper propose the method of constructing the highly efficiency adder and multiplier systems over finite fie2, degree of uk terms, therefore we decrease k into m-1 degree using irreducible primitive polynomial. We propose two method of control signal generation for perform above decrease process. One method is the combinational logic expression and the other method is universal signal generation. The proposed method of constructing the highly adder/multiplier systems is as following. First of all, we obtain algorithms for addition and multiplication arithmetic operation based on the mathematical properties over finite fields, next we construct basic cell of A-cell and M-cell using T-gate and modP cyclic gate. Finally we construct adder module and multiplier module over finite fields after synthesize ${\alpha}$$\^$k/ generation module and control signal CSt generation module with A-cell and M-cell. Then, we propose the future research and prospects.
