Optimal Block Transportation Path Planning of Transporters considering the Damaged Path (운송 경로 손상을 고려한 트랜스포터의 최적 블록 운송 경로 계획)

  • Nowadays, a transporter manager plans the schedule of the block transportation by considering the experience of the manager, the production process of the blocks and the priority of the block transportation in shipyard. The schedule planning of the block transportation should be rearranged for the reflection of the path blocking cases occurred by unexpected obstacles or delays in transportation. In this paper, the optimal block transportation path planning system is developed for rearranging the schedule of the block transportation by considering the damaged path. $A^*$ algorithm is applied to calculate the new shortest path between the departure and arrival of the blocks transported through the damaged path. In this algorithm, the first node of the damaged path is considered as the starting position of the new shortest path, and then the shortest path calculation is completed if the new shortest path is connected to the one of nodes in the original path. In addition, the data structure for the algorithm is designed. This optimal block transportation path planning system is applied to the Philippine Subic shipyard and the ability of the rapid path modification is verified.

  • The Purpose of this study was to utilize of CAD System in pattern making process for women's apparel. The automation by the use of CAD System provides the higher accuracy and efficiency in pattern making process. AccuMark 300 System was used. for .this study. The results from this study were as follows . 1. New size spec chart and grading pitch chart were developed based on the data analysis and fitting tests for female college students. 2. New jacket block was developed based on the torso length sloper 3. Automatic grading of jacket block have been developed by creation and modification of grading rules of block pattern. 4. Pattern Design Systyem(P/D/S) were enabled to be constructed directly form a block pattern by modifications to existing styled pattern. 5. Original master pattern was generated by P/D/S menu option. 6. Production pattem added seam allowance, notchs was generated by P/D/S menu option. 7 Interative maker making process have enabled to save a wide range of time and space. 8. Measurement of garment by P/D/S measuring tools is to utilize in garment costing, quality control.

Histone tail cleavage as a novel epigenetic regulatory mechanism for gene expression

  • Chromatin is an intelligent building block that can express either external or internal needs through structural changes. To date, three methods to change chromatin structure and regulate gene expression have been well-documented: histone modification, histone exchange, and ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling. Recently, a growing body of literature has suggested that histone tail cleavage is related to various cellular processes including stem cell differentiation, osteoclast differentiation, granulocyte differentiation, mammary gland differentiation, viral infection, aging, and yeast sporulation. Although the underlying mechanisms suggesting how histone cleavage affects gene expression in view of chromatin structure are only beginning to be understood, it is clear that this process is a novel transcriptional epigenetic mechanism involving chromatin dynamics. In this review, we describe the functional properties of the known histone tail cleavage with its proteolytic enzymes, discuss how histone cleavage impacts gene expression, and present future directions for this area of study.

Study on Quantitative Analysis of Wear Debris for Surface Modification Layers Ti(C,N) with Piston Ring on Diesel Engine Oil

  • During contact between surfaces, there is wear and the generation of wear. The particles contained in the lubricating oil carry detailed and important monitoring information about the condition of the machine. Therefore, this paper was undertaken for the Ferrography system of wear debris generated from a lubricated moving machine surface. The lubricating wear test was performed under different experimental conditions using the Falex wear test of the Pin and V-Block types by Ti(C,N) coated. It was shown from the test results that wear particle concentration(WPC), wear severity index(Is) and size distribution have come out all higher with increases in sliding friction time. With the Ferrogram thin leaf wear debris as well as ball and plate type wear particles were observed.

  • The mitigation or elimination of methanol crossover for perfluorosulfonic acid fuel cell membranes has been investigated extensively for direct methanol fuel cell applications with the aim of increasing the electrochemical performance and enhancing the utilization rate of methanol. Self-assembly modifications by applying an oppositely charged polyelectrolyte to Nafion membranes were attempted in order to block or reduce methanol crossover while maintaining the other advantageous properties of Nafion membranes. It was reported that anionic polyallylamine hydrochloride (PAH) was the most efficient polyelectrolyte in reducing methanol crossover, and considerable cell performance was obtained even at a methanol feed concentration of 10 M.

  • Alloy tool steel such as SKD11 and SKD61 or high speed tool like SKH51 are used as materials for semiconductor dies. Cavities, curl blocks, pot blocks and housings are made from those materials. To make those parts from alloy tool steel or high speed tool, one utilizes discharge machining, and mechanical machining including machining center, milling, drilling, forming grinding and others. In the process of cutting machining and polishing, the die materials become unsuitable for machining owing to bubbles and foreign substances in them, which hinders production process. Therefore, this study focuses on die material selection criteria, and on analysis and comparison of material characteristics to help companies to solve their problems, make die manufacture less burdensome and extend die life.

  • In this paper we present a cryptanalysis of the generalized patchwork algorithm under the assumption that the attacker possesses only a single copy of the watermarked audio. In the scheme, watermark is inserted by modifying randomly chosen DCT values in each block of the original audio. Towards the attack we first fit low degree polynomials (which minimize the mean square error) on the data available from each block of the watermarked content. Then we replace the corresponding DCT data of the at-tacked audio by the available data from the polynomials to construct an attacked audio. The technique nullifies the modification achieved during watermark embedding. Experimental results show that recovery of the watermark becomes difficult after the attack.

Practical Synthesis of Alkoxyamine Initiators for Living Radical Polymerization

  • Various alkoxyamine initiators for nitroxide mediated radical polymerization (NMRP) were prepared in high yields by a simple substitution reaction of nitroxide anions with benzyl bromide. The required nitroxide anions were easily generated by treating either nitroxide free radicals or hydroxy amine with an alkali metal such as sodium or potassium in THF. This method is both practical and efficient, since the ionic conditions prevent other side reactions from occurring, such as the self-coupling or oligomerization reactions that are observed in the case of radical trapping conditions. To demonstrate the utility of the resulting alkoxyamine initiators, end- and telechelic-alkoxyamine PEG macroinitiators derived from the alkoxyamines were synthesized by a simple chemical modification, and used for the preparation of PEG-b-PS and PS-b-PEG-b-PS block copolymers by NMRP.

  • This paper describes a digital signature-based method for original and updated video authentication. The method uses multiple digital signatures in dealing with video data undergoing multiple change/updating. In addition, a feature based on neighbouring block similarity measure is applied to deal with certain image/video modification. The proposed method can cope with wide range of image/video tampering. It is suitable for practical use of video data, where updating may be performed by more than one legal parties. Experimental results are included with concluding remarks.

  • This paper presented a FPGA design of SEED, which is the Korea standard 128-bit block cipher. In this work, SEED was designed technology- independently for other applications such as ASIC or core-based designs. Hence in case of changing the target of design, it is not necessary to modify design or need only minor modification to reuse the design. Since SEED algorithm requires a lot of hardware resources, each unit was designed only once and used sequentially. So, the number of gates was minimized and SEED algorithm was fitted in FPGA without additional components. It was confirmed that the rate of resource usage is about 80% in ALTERA 10KE and the SEED design operates in a clock frequency of 131.57 MHz and an encryption rate of 29 Mbps.
