In November of 1994, The Seoul Metropolitan Government celebrates its sixth centennial anniversary of becoming the capital city of Korea. In celebration of this anniversary, the Government decided to construct a plaza and sought design proposals in March of 1994. The authors collaborated on a design for the Time Capsule Plaza Competition and won fourth place among twenty-six entries. In the authors' design, the traditional oriental concept of time resonates within the site through the shape of a clock, a unique planting style, and an "Ancestral Tomb" which has a time capsule inside. The plaza is meant to be a symbol of the passage of time, the cycles of nature, and the repetitive actions of man. As for the spatial composition of the plaza, in accordance with the traditional Korean way of spatial arrangement, the plaza is divided into three parts: entry, primary, and secondary spaces. In reality, the plaza is created with the primary goal of providing modern outdoor space for people to rest and gather through the creation of pleasant environments and the introduction of traditional Korean garden elements.

The modern warfare needs sharing tactical situation and Command and Control(C2) capacity. Lately, developing of C2 System for Soldiers has dramatically increased according to increase of asymmetric state of hostilities like a guerilla war or a street-to-street fighting. In this paper, we explain the concepts of C2 System for Soldiers and Smart Phone. We describe the proposed system composed of HMD equipment, Smart Phone, and exclusive software. This system provides that Soldiers have C2 capacity and share the image of a visual field. It also offers efficient military power disposition and understanding tactical situation in operations.

The practiced conventional methods for maintenance management in Malaysian Polytechnic faced many issues due to poor service delivery, inadequate finance, poor maintenance plan and maintenance backlogs. The purpose of this study is to improve the conventional method practices which tend to be ineffective in Malaysian Polytechnic. The case studies were conducted with eight Polytechnics and are selected based on conventional method practices and its major problems. There are around 32 Polytechnics in Malaysia and almost are using conventional methods. The number is considered very big indicating that the use of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is still very limited compared to other institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. The overall findings of this research indicated; poor service delivery, inadequate financial, poor maintenance planning and maintenance backlogs. There is also need to overcome less man power competencies of maintenance management practices which existed with all eight Polytechnics. The proposed system is intended to be used for maintenance management practices at Malaysian Polytechnics in order to provide high-quality of building facility with safe and healthy environments.

Nowadays, The function of telecommunication contributes to maintaining the peace of the world, and the international cooperation in the communication field can not be emphasized too much. The pioneers in telecommunication field dvoted their lives to the infinite love for humanity. However, the modern communication system in our country was initiated, in the later part of the Lee-Dynasty, not for the international cooperation but for the invasive avarices of the neighbouring nations such as Japan and China. The true international cooperation should be based on the love of humanity and the peace of the world such as the pioneers'. This paper proposes to resarch the historic process of initiation and development of the international organs relating to telecommunication as well as the international telecommunication network. Finally, I will make the following suggestions for the promotive direction of the true international cooperation. 1. Intensification of the radio administrative power. 2. Promotion of the international cooperation on the man-power and economy in telecommunication field. 3. Establishment and adjustment of research institutes of telecommunication. 4. Promotion of space communications. 5. Establishment of the world telecommunication network for world-wide peace.

Modern wind turbines have been mainly erected in region where earthquake are rare or normally weak, especially Korea was thought as safety zone from earthquake. But recently, the earthquake occurs more and more frequently. So, the wind turbine design is required the structural and functional stability under the earthquake. The earthquake can influence normal operation, even if a weak earthquake. There are two ways to review the design under earthquake using Computer Applied Engineering (CAE). One is the Response Spectrum Analysis (RSA) the other is Time History Analysis (THA). In this research, dynamic response on time is obtained under the earthquake by taking into account ground accelerogram consistent with the relevant standards applied to the turbine foundation.

The use of geogrid for SRW systems and bridge abutment has increased rapidly over the past 10 years in Korea. The concept of segmental retaining walls and reinforced soil is very old and for example The Ziggurats of Babylonia(i.e. Tower of Babel) were built some 2,500 to 3,000 years ago using soil reinforcing methods very similar to those described in current design. Modern SRW(Semental Retaining Wall) units were introduced in 1960's as concrete crib retaining wall systems. In this paper, the friction properties between segmental concrete units and geogrid are investigated by performing various tests.

Korean sports fashion began after 1990. after 1960, using vinyl, leather, plastic ＆ metal material, Yve st. Laurent, Pierre Cardin, Andre Courrges, they lead sportive look. Head of 20th century, fashion was lead by haute­couture, after 60s. It was changed to pret­a poter. Now it can be called of american casual ＆ sports fashion. This study would be a view of modem fashion trend and process of visualization in the future. I studied in reproduction of view ＆ age of hyper media with visual circumstance ＆ artistic background and mordern fashion trend ＆ sports fashion image in korea. In conclusion, sports fashion image as visualizing aesthetic concept of modern fashion be defined as technology for man, for instance comfort, function, flexibility, simplicity and minimalism. Specically, Sports fashion was began satisfied for function after 90s, we can see variety of easy wear, hip-hop casual, entertainment sports wear, new street sports wear, luxury sports wear.

The technology acceptance model(TAM) has been widely studied in IS research and Internet has been expanded very rapidly in modern society. The purpose of this study is to provide an internet acceptance model and test it empirically. This study extends the TAM model and motivation theory by adding gender. This model posits that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness correlate with Internet use, Test results are as follows: First, the survey suggested the three factors-perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived playfulness-affect the use of Internet. Second, Difference just appeared in case of perceived use of use between genders but not others-perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness. Third, the result represented that there was nothing that affected the use of Internet by itself among the three factors-perceived usefulness, ease of use and playfulness and perceived usefulness used gender as a moderated variable in the case of the use of Internet.

This research is for finding prototypes and characteristics of intonation found in ${\ulcorner}$-a/e, $t{\int}ijo$<${\lrcorner}$ and ${\ulcorner}$p/simnida${\lrcorner}$ among modern Korean predicate statements by constructing spoken corpus based on the current radio broadcast. So the result of the study is as follows. : (1) The construction of the balanced spoken corpus and the standard for boundary determination of rhythm are needed for the intonation model of speech synthesis. (2) Korean intonation units have the splited word tone which includes the nuclear tone and the pre-nuclear tone makes unclear tone more detailed. (3) I made man and woman intonation models individually through t-test of SPSS. (4) The standard intonation model is devided '-ajo'type and '-nida'type

The mobile internet has grown ubiquitous across the globe with the widespread use of smart devices. However, the designs of modern mobile operating systems and their applications limit content retrieval with mobile applications. The mobile internet is not as accessible as the traditional web, having more man-made restrictions and lacking a unified approach for crawling and content retrieval. In this study, we propose an automatic and scalable mobile application content crawler, which can recognize the interaction paths of mobile applications, representing them as interaction graphs and automatically collecting content according to the graphs in a parallel manner. The crawler was verified by retrieving content from 50 non-game applications from the Google Play Store using the Android platform. The experiment showed the efficiency and scalability potential of our crawler for large-scale mobile internet content retrieval.
