The Text Analysis of Plasticity Expressed in the Modern Art to Wear (Part II) - Focused on the West Art Works since 1980s - (현대 예술의상에 표현된 조형성의 텍스트 분석 (제2보) - 1980년대 이후 서구 작가 작품을 중심으로 -)

  • The analysis category of Art to Wear was text analyzed from the research material of 100 projects put together by fashion specialist. The conclusion of Art to Wear was comprehended the general features of it were compared and analyzed from a semiotics context. According to this analysis, the formative features of modern Art to Wear is categorized into three different dimensions from a semiotics light. The formative features of modem Art to Wear in the light of syntactic dimension was divided as an open constructed shape of Space Extension, non-typical Deformation, Geometrical Plasticity. The formative features of modem Art to Wear in the light of semantic dimension express symbolic meaning through metaphorical sign. These sign reflect the body image of the life and death and its objective of Abjection, Hybrid of discultural appearance and the image of Hyper-reality, which are features used to comprehend the inner meaning. The formative features of modem Art to Wear in the light of pragmatic dimension divided the artist emotion and meaning system delivered by Emotive Image, the Phatic Image that arouse inner signification and the Poetic Image which contain artistic and aesthetic meaning within it.

Low Area Design and Implementation for IEEE 802.11a OFDM Timing Synchronization Block (IEEE 802.11a OFDM 타이밍 동기화기 블록의 저면적 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, a low area timing synchronization structure for the IEEE 802.11a OFDM MODEM SoC is proposed. The timing synchronization block of the IEEE 802.11a OFDM MODEM SoC requires large implementation area. In the proposed timing synchronization structure, it is shown that the number of multiplication can be reduced by using the transposed direct form filter. Furthermore, implementation area of the proposed structure can be more reduced using CSD(Canonic Signed Digit) and Common Sub-expression Sharing techniques. Through Verilog-HDL coding and synthesis, it is shown that the 22.7 % of implementation area can be reduced compared with the conventional one.

  • This study is an attempt to establish an aesthetic and fashion sense of the heroine's image and fashion according to the social environment which is related to fashion transformation. Also, this study modem society's need for specific social occupational roles through fashion and clothing in cinema. first, individual people are estimating their social position and ability by his/her fashion style. Modem fashion styles are changing into various, complicated, gorgeous and attractive styles; however, the needs of professional women's clothing styles are fairly conservative. Second, classical, closed, and unobtrusive fashion styles are appearing in modem cinema's clothing depending on professional women's expertise in fashion styles. Third, changes of styles are varied by their colors and clothing design. Colors had not changed very much during the last 30 years; however, in the 1980's, white and grey colors, in the 1990's black and achromatic colors, and in the beginning of this century dark green and brown and also diverse colors have been used. But the brightness is so light and expressed by a quiet and cold style. Furthermore, the inner images are judged by their forms which is determined by how people choose their clothing styles. Consequently, women's clothing styles easily appear as a result of their preconceived ideas formed by their professional knowledge and ability.

An Analysis of Pastiche in Body Ornamentation of Modern Fashion (현대 패션에 표현된 신체장식의 혼성모방 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe the cultural phenomenon in modern society from the point of view of pastiche, analyze the characteristics of pastiche, create a framework for studying modem fashion and body ornamentation, one of the facts of cultural phenomenon and, based on these aspects, will observe the pastiche phase, which occurred in body ornamentation of modem fashion in the late 1990's Collections. The characteristics of pastiche is that it transcends meaning, alters the usage of objects, raises the beauty of alienation and pursues temporariness. Observing pastiche, according to its definition and characteristics, as it appears in body ornamentation of modem fashion, the results were as follows: First of all, in terms of transcending meaning, body ornamentation of modern fashion is a mixture of all past styles. Secondly, use of objects in body ornamentation of fashion has shown the use of things which have never been used in accessorizing before, such as birdcages, bones of body, castle. Third, in terms of the raising of the beauty of alienation, accessories from countries, which were not high interest groups in the past, such as piercing, scar, corpulent, are being used as high-fashion accessories in body ornamentation of modern fashion. Fourth, in terms of the pursuit of temporariness, external ornamentation in body ornamentation of modern fashion is seen as permanent changes to the outer body, such as tattoos, piercings, hair color and the more temporary changes, such as coloring.

  • In this paper, a low-area symbol timing offset synchronization structure for WLAN Modem is proposed. Using CSD(Canonic Signed Digit) coefficients and CSS(Common Sub-expression Sharing) technique for the filter implementation, efficient structure for multiplication block can be obtained. Function simulation for proposed structure is done by using the preamble with timing offset. Through Verilog-HDL coding and synthesis, it is shown that the proposed symbol timing offset synchronization structure can be implemented with low-area semiconductor.

  • TETRA(Terrestrial Trunked Radio) is a digital trunked radio standard developed by the ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute). Currently, TETRA was set Digital TRS in electric power If wireless backbone network. In this time, we use many company's TETRA modem. So, TETRA modem performance evaluation is very important. TETRA modem use two type of Data transfer mode. One is Packet Data using UDP/IP. and the other is SDS(Short Data Service). In this paper, We generate Packet Data using Traffic Generator module. Packet Data transfer 1000 times each 10 bytes to 400 bytes. We analyze transmission delay time, success rate and standard deviation.

  • In this paper, the structure and detailed specifications of the HDR-WPAN physical layer have been analyzed and the block module of transmitter and receiver have been also designed, and analyzed the performance as well. In the process of transmitter design, it concentrated on all possibility of modulation of QPSK, DQPSK and 16/32/64QAM-TCM, which could be available for mode selection due to the transmission rate. In addition to the receiver module, DQPSK and TCM decoding algorithm is mainly concerned. After designing the transceiver MODEM using VHDL, we have programmed on the platform board and verified the functions of the MODEM. Some experimental results showed that it can be considered a possibility of data communication without error over SNR 22dB.

  • AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) and RC(Remote Control) System have been researched from former several decade for a various power rate system, a efficient power service and rising of personal expenses, etc. But the existing AMR and RC System have disadvantage which are complex and high cost to install an individual communication network of electricity company. This paper proposed a new type of AMR and RC System using PLC with Web. and made components for proposal system. Most customer who live in apartment have an internet cable in the Republic of Korea. Therefore there is no more installation component for communication in proposal system at the apartment, except Web server system and PLC modem. so we made the PLC modem the digital watt-hour meter with a build in PLC modem and the software on server computer for establishing the proposal system.

  • In order to design and test an SoC modem for high speed communication, the platform with the architecture of such high speed communication is needed. That platform is needed for testing large data in speed of 500Mbps. This paper shows that transmission data can be uploaded and downloaded by 250Mbps between a virtual modem target board and a PC through the AHB-PCI IP and the speed of based on DPRAM and PCI.

  • Recently, communication components prefer Bluetooth or Zigbee for PAN. However, using these makes expensive and complicated products such as audio equipments, mobile phones, PC, etc. for transmitting simple messages with low rate. In this paper, we propose wireless communication method using ultrasonic in the audio frequency limit band with speakers and microphones which are in products. We suggest transmitting and receiving methods in the audio frequency limit band for transmitting data without affecting audio signal, and implement an ultrasonic communication modem. Finally, we verify the performance of the ultrasonic communication modem by experiments in an environment with background noise.
