현대인들은 의식적 혹은 무의식적으로 많은 광고에 노출되고 있다. 이에 기업에서는 매력적인 모델을 광고에 사용함으로써 자사의 광고에 소비자들의 주목도를 높이려는 것이 일반적인 경향이다. 의류의 경우, 소비자는 주로 잡지, 신문, 카탈로그, TV 광고 등의 마케터 주도적 정보원을 통해 정보를 수집하는 것으로 나타나, 마케터가 제시하는 광고가 의류 소비자의 구매행동에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 의류광고에 사용되는 모델이 소비자에 의해 의류광고에 적합하다고 판단되어지는 경로를 이론적으로 도출하고 이를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 그 결과, 모델의 매력도 차원에는 '관능성'과 '귀염성', 두 차원이 존재하며, 이 차원은 각각 다른 경로로 의류광고 적합도를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 관능성은 '모델답다', '전형적인 모델이다'로 여겨지는 '모델 전형성'을 통해 의류광고 적합도를 향상시키며, 귀염성은 모델 전형성을 거치지 않고 의류광고 적합도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기업이 의류모델을 선정함에 있어 유의한 시사점을 제공한다.

The 21st century are seeing a large number of performing arts, and one of them, opera is evolving, transforming itself as one of total arts. Besides, the costume in performing art which play a major role in opera's visual impact, characterize figures, set the tone for performance and greatly contribute to the perfection of the stage. Under these circumstances, the study developed designs of stage costumes and built a full-scale production of the Magic Flute, one of three greatest Mozart operas. The opera based on a fiction, is still popular today since it is a fantastic fairy tale introducing moral and ethical lessons. The play's background itself is Egypt. But due to its fairy-take-like storyline, it has been performed focusing on various concepts rather than on costumes prepared through background research. As such, this study conducted research on designs of stage costumes that contains the element of Egypt and also take athleticism and comfort into consideration. The results derived from the study were as follows. First, traditional dresses of ancient Egypt were used as a basis while adding some modem touch in terms of forms or colors, which resulted in a new design. Second, a variety of images were captured using textures and colors that fit the characteristics of attributes of the figures. Third painting techniques were used to help highlight the symbolic image of Egypt-simple, not heavy and extravagant-with fairy-tale-like fantasy.

광대역 통신 모뎀이나 초고해상도 비디오 코덱 등과 같이 높은 데이터율을 갖는 시스템을 하드웨어로 구현할 때에는 디지털 필터의 고속 구현이 필수적이다. 디지털 필터의 임계경로는 대부분 MAC (multiplication and accumulation) 연산 회로이므로 필터 계수의 0이 아닌 비트의 갯수가 희소하다면 하드웨어 비용이 적은 덧셈기로도 디지털 필터를 고속으로 구현할 수 있다. 압축센싱은 신호의 희소 표현이나 희소 신호의 복원에 우수한 성능을 보임이 최근 연구에서 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 압축센싱에 기반한 디지털 FIR 필터의 CSD (canonic signed digit) 계수를 찾는 방법을 제안한다. 주어진 주파수 응답과의 오차를 최소하면서 탐욕적 방법으로 희소한 0이 아닌 부호자리수를 찾고 잘못 선택되었던 부호자리수는 제거하는 과정을 반복한다. 설계 예를 통해 제안된 방법으로 희소한 0이 아닌 CSD 계수의 FIR 필터를 설계할 수 있음을 보인다.

본 논문에서는 컬러와 패턴 정보를 이용하여 텍스타일 영상에 포함된 감성을 자동으로 인식할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이때, 감성을 표현하기 위해 고바야시의 10가지 감성 그룹 - {romantic, clear, natural, casual, elegant chic, dynamic, classic, dandy, modern}- 을 이용한다. 제안된 시스템은 특징 추출과 분류로 구성된다. 특징 추출 단계에서는 주관적인 감성을 물리적인 영상 특징으로 표현하기 위해 텍스타일을 구성하는 대표 컬러와 패턴을 추출 한다. 이 때 대표 컬러를 추출하기 위해서 양자화 기법을 이용하고, 패턴정보를 표현하기 위해서는 웨이블릿 변환 후의 통계적인 정보를 이용한다 추출된 컬러와 패턴 특징은 신경망을 이용한 분류기의 입력으로 사용되고, 분류기를 통해 입력 텍스타일이 임의의 감성을 가지는지 여부가 결정된다. 제안된 감성인식 방법의 효율성을 증명하기 위해서 인위적인 도메인, 패션 도메인, 인테리어 도메인에서 얻어진 389장의 텍스타일 영상에서 실험하였다. 다양한 도메인의 영상에 대해 사용된 결과 제안된 방법은 100%의 정확도와 99%의 재현율을 보였다. 이러한 실험 결과는 제안된 감성인식 방법이 다양한 텍스타일 관련 산업분야에 일반화되어 사용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.

The materials on the development of modern architecture in Korea are being collected and organized in a systemic fashion. However, this is not the case with the materials relative to interior design. They are gradually disappearing or being lost. In particular, no serious attempt has yet been made to determine the characteristics and historic value of the interior design of the modern bank buildings. The purpose of this study is to trace the disappearing legacy of the interior design of modern bank buildings by learning the inner space arrangements of these buildings and the characteristics of modern interior design in order to determine the historic significance of modern commercial interior design. Banks of relatively large scale were selected for the purpose of this study. They consisted of: Chosun Bank(1911) and its Andong, Wonsan and Cheongjin branches; Chosun Shiksan Banks and its Busan, Daegu and Pyongyang branches; the Busan branch of the 18 Bank; Dongil Bank, Chosun Savings Bank(1935) and their branches. The study focused on the space arrangements and design characteristics of these banks. Although they aimed at modernization in designingtheir interior spaces, the modern bank buildings were not representative of any particular style of interior design. While western style designs were prevalent, eclectic designs incorporating many different styles existed. The characteristics of the interior design of banks of the time included installation of such decorations and use of high quality construction materials for interior and exterior expressing the wealth as to create an aura of credibility for the banks, while the floor arrangements were relatively stereotyped and simplified.

The main aim of this research is centered on the relation between nature and humans, and is to study the ecological characteristics appearing both in Landscape Architecture, one of the currents of ecological architecture as the architectural solution on the relation between humans and nature, and in our traditional architecture. Through this study, we were able to see that our traditional architecture was influenced by our ancestor's view of nature, and that the foremost feature of our ancestor's view of nature on our traditional architecture is not conflicting with nature, but, instead it is complying with it through seeking harmony with nature. Also we could see that our ancestor's view of nature is similar to Landscape Architecture having come to the fore toward the tendency of modern ecological paradigm in that it is the representation seeking the organic view of nature pursuing the oneness among artificial structure, humans, and nature. That is, we could figure out that various ecological features appearing in modem Landscape Architecture had been represented for a long long time, in a natural fashion, In the manner of space makeup in our traditional architecture. This is the characteristic of our ecological thinking system understanding nature and humans at the same context, and it has come down not only to our everyday living but to the manner of architectural solutions as well. Through this research, we could reconsider the modern value of ecological architecture inherent in our traditional architecture.

예술을 논함에 있어 '과학의 진보'와 '인간의 정서'라는 두 가지 문제의 상충은 끊임없이 대두되었다. 과학의 편리성, 그 이면에 존재하는 인간본연의 감성인 '자연'은 점차 크게 자리잡아갔다. 20세기말부터 성행하던 다소 삭막하게 느껴지는 미니멀리즘을 벗어나 점점 인간과 자연이 하나가 될 수 있는 자연주의가 강조되었고, '자연'은 21세기를 살아가는 우리에게 주어진 가장 중요한 화두로 떠올랐다. 기계와 과학에 의해 삶이 양적으로 향상되어질수록, 삶의 질을 향상시키고자 하는 '자연'에 대한 향수가 인간에게 더욱 절실하게 되었다. 이에 '자연'을 좀 더 효과적으로 나타내고자 아르누보양식의 표현요소를 도입하여, '자연'을 현대적으로 표현한 조형적 특성을 연구하였다. 아르누보는 자연물의 유기적인 형태로부터 모티브를 찾아 이것을 양식화하여 장식미술로 적용하였다. 이는 과거의 양식에서 인용과 절충을 반복하는, 역사주의적 전통을 과감히 개혁함으로써 현대디자인의 문을 열었고, 더불어 미술을 모든 생활에 실용화하려는 점에서 커다란 역사적 의미를 갖는 양식이다. 신예술을 의미하는, 19세기말부터 20세기 초에 걸쳐 번성했던 아르누보는 한 세기가 지난 현재에 와서 재평가되고 수용되어 다양하고 새롭게 나타나고 있다. '자연주의'를 근본으로 하는 아르누보 양식은 현대에 오면서 내추럴리즘이 주류를 이루고, 여성스런 로맨티시즘이 유행하면서 패션, 가구, 유리 공예, 보석 공예 등의 다양한 장르의 예술에서 모티브로 부활하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아르누보에서 나타난 식물모티브를 적용한 다양한 분야의 아르누보작가들의 작품을 중심으로 형태적 요소와 표현요소의 특성을 다양하게 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 나타난 공통된 조형미를 분석하고자하였다. 아르누보양식에서 나타나는 섬세하고 화려한 곡선의 장식미와 형태의 부드럽고 유려한 곡선표현의 효과적인 디자인적용가능성을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 창의적으로 분석된 조형이미지로의 아르누보 식물모티브를 디자인에 새롭게 시도하는 계기가 되고자 한다.

본 연구는 먼저 자연주의와 자연주의 복식이 무엇인가에 대하여 고찰하고 그 개념을 바탕으로 자연의 요소 중 그 화려함과 다양함을 보여 주는 나비를 선택하여 자연 소재인 데님과 접목시킴으로써 인간 체형에 자연의 형태를 입혀 자연과 친화될 수 있는 고부가가치의 현대 복식 디자인을 창출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 그리고 디자인 도출방법으로는 요즘 디자인 작업에서 많이 활용피고 있는 CAD 시스템 중 가장 대중화되어 있는 Adove illustrator 10, Photoshop 7.0, Prima Vision Textile Design System을 이용하여 디자인을 하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 자연주의의 개념은 인간의 본질에 관심을 가지고 과학에 근거를 둔 사실적인 묘사로 객관성을 가지며 이로 인해 자연 속에서 삶의 본질을 찾고자 하는 것이다. 자연주의 복식의 개념은 천연의 가공하지 않은 소재와 자연의 색이나 천연염료의 색을 사용하고 자연의 모티브인 식물$\cdot$동물 등 자연 형상을 모티브로 하며 편안하고 자연스러운 실루엣을 의미하는 복식인 것을 알 수 있었다 그리고 나비의 뚜렷한 시각적 강조를 드러내는 구조는 어느 곤충들보다 화려하여 우리의 관심을 끌어들이는 데에 사용될 수 있고 작가가 의도하는 방향으로 발전시킬 수 있는 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 캐드를 이용한 프린팅 디자인은 수작업으로 이루어지는 일반 프린팅 기법에 비해 더욱 풍부한 색의 프린트 디자인과 다양한 시도를 할 수 있어 프린트 디자인에 더욱 많은 기회와 경제성을 제공하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

상업공간에 있어서 디스플레이는 현대의 고도 산업사회에서는 대량생산, 대량유통체계의 판매촉진수단으로서 극히 중요한 분야로 대두되고 있다. 뿐만아니라 생활의 질적 향상으로 인해 다양화, 개성 화되고 있는 고객들의 요구를 만족시켜주기 위한 중요한 요소로서 그 역학이 한층 중요시되고 있다. 더욱이 상업건축물의 입면은 비주얼 머천다이징에 있어서 매장의 레이아웃을 비롯한 전시공간 설정 및 표현에 커다란 영향을 미치고 있다. 매장의 입면 유형은 정보를 제공하는 선전 소구 기능을 가짐과 동시에 외부공간구성의 중요한 요소로서의 역할을 하고 있다. 이와 같이 건축물의 입면을 이루고 있는 도입부공간은 매장의 일부이며 가로(街路)공간과도 관련되어 있어 그 기능적인 문제와 표현상의 문제를 다루는데 있어 매장과 가로의 양측 면의 관계를 고려하지 않을 수 없다. 본 연구는 내부와 외부의 절충공간으로서의 도입공간을 중심으로 매장에 있어 서 입면이 갖는 제반 특성을 파악하고 각 특성간의 상호관계를 규명하였으며, 매장의 입면유형이 매장환경에 미치는 제반요소인 구획, 유도계획, 배치계획 등과의 관계를 제 조명하려 하였다. 따라서 서울 명동소재의 패션전문매장이 현황조사를 통해 입면 유형과 비주얼 프리젠테이션과의 관계를 분석하고, 비주얼 머천다이징의 개념에 입각한 공간구성의 방향을 제시하였다.
