양방향 데이터 방송 환경에서의 부가 영상 콘텐츠 제작 모델 연구 (A Study about Data Broadcasting Sub-Content Architecture Model in Bi-directional Broadcasting Environment)

  • The demand of digital broadcasting via networks has increased slowly in spite of the development of bidirectional broadcasting service technology and the effort of revitalization are actively performed nowadays. There are some reasons that the content differentiation is necessary. First, bidirectional digital broadcasting has no special content that attracts public attention. Second, bidirectional video content such as UCC is expected to revitalize economy due to simplification of authoring tool and user's desire to communicate interactively. So this paper proposes the data broadcasting sub-content architecture model by scenario using original data broadcasting content. At the same time, we design the content object metadata schema from the analysis of original data broadcasting content. It is restricted by 25 metadata in order to make it more smoothly working contents under the ubiquitous environment. This proposal is expected to affect the revitalization of content development and find out new sub-content model by rework original content.

크랙을 고려한 휨을 받는 콘크리트보의 해석 (A Rational Approach to the Flexural Concrete Beam Analysis with Crack Growth using Fracture Mechanic Concepts)

  • This study attempts to develop a rational approach to flexural concrete beam analysis with crack growth. In order to develope analytical solutions, several simplification and assumption are made and the Hillerborg fictitious crack model is adapted for new rational approach to the flexural concrete beam. To provide desired results, the concrete beams with various conditions(more than 126 beam conditions) are analyzed. Before producing the results, these assumptions are founded to be justified by comparison with a FE analysis. The results for each condition of the beams are presented in terms of crack lengths, the strength and cracking stability of concrete beams. And also size effects in a flexural concrete beam is studied using a new flexural cracking model.

경량 딥러닝 기술 동향 (Recent R&D Trends for Lightweight Deep Learning)

  • Considerable accuracy improvements in deep learning have recently been achieved in many applications that require large amounts of computation and expensive memory. However, recent advanced techniques for compacting and accelerating the deep learning model have been developed for deployment in lightweight devices with constrained resources. Lightweight deep learning techniques can be categorized into two schemes: lightweight deep learning algorithms (model simplification and efficient convolutional filters) in nature and transferring models into compact/small ones (model compression and knowledge distillation). In this report, we briefly summarize various lightweight deep learning techniques and possible research directions.

간략화된 메쉬에서 보간된 법선 벡터의 분포를 이용한 3차원 모델 검색 (3D Model Retrieval using Distribution of Interpolated Normal Vectors on Simplified Mesh)

  • 본 논문에서는 메쉬 법선 벡터들의 방향 분포를 3차원 모델의 특징 기술자로 제안한다. 특징 기술자로써 요구되는 회전 불변을 주성분 분석법(PCA)으로 처리하고 잡음첨가에 강건하도록 메쉬 간략화를 수행한다. 표면적이 작은 면에 대한 정보가 특징 기술자를 구성하는데 더 적게 반영되도록 법선 벡터의 분포를 각 다각형의 면적에 비례하게 표본을 뽑아 법선 벡터에 가중치를 적용하고 보간하여 변별력을 높인다. 모델간의 유사도는 특징 기술자의 거리를 정규화한 확률 밀도 히스토그램의 L1-norm으로 측정한다. 제안한 방법이 기존 방법에 비해 검색 순위 평균(ANMRR)으로 나타낸 검색 성능이 약 17.2%, 정량적 변별 척도로 나타낸 검색 성능이 최소 9.6%에서 최대 17.5%까지 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다.

KTDB 기반 노선배정의 예측오차 원인과 분석결과 해석 (Practical Interpretation and Source of Error in Traffic Assignment Based on Korea Transport Database(KTDB))

  • 이 연구에서는 교통수요예측의 신뢰성에 영향을 미치는 요소와 원인을 검토하였다. 통행의 다양성과 불규칙성, 입력자료 한계, 자료의 집합화, 모형의 단순화가 포괄적 의미에서 교통예측 오차원인이 된다. 또한 불가피하게 존재하는 예측 오차의 이론적 배경을 정확히 규명함으로써 예측결과를 실무적 정책결정에 활용할 시에 합리적 판단을 하는데 도움이 되도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 특히 노선배정모형의 예측 오차의 요인에 초점을 두고, KTDB 자료기반 분석오차를 6개 항목으로 나누어 설명하였다. 즉, (1) 입력 자료의 오차, (2) 공간 집합화와 네트워크 표현방식에 따른 오차, (3) 교통패턴 변동에 대한 대푯값 설정에 따른 오차, (4) 교통류모형 단순화에 따른 오차, (5) 노선선택 행태 집합화에 따른 오차로 구분하여 설명하였다.

무도상 철도판형교의 동적응답특성 및 보강방안 (Dynamic Response and Reinforcement of the Railway Plate Girder Bridges)

  • 본 논문에서는 상용유한요소해석 프로그램을 이용하여 12형 무도상 판형교를 보요소의 형상함수를 이용한 시간하중함수를 열차의 표준하중선도에 적용하여 해석하였다. 또한 Klingel의 sine운동을 적용하여 횡방향 거동특성을 모사하였다. 실제 운행한 상시운행열차 및 증속 실험의 자료와 해석프로그램의 변위, 가속도 자료를 비교하여 해석프로그램 및 해석기법의 타당성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 수평변위와 수직변위의 시간이력이 실제 계측된 자료를 적정수준으로 반영하였다. 6가지 보강모델의 수직 및 수평방향의 변위, 가속도의 보강효과를 살펴보았으며 상부 수평브레이싱 시스템을 하부에 도입한 RF-1모델과 판을 보강한 RF-3모델이 중량제한과 시공성 등을 고려할 때 가장 효과적인 보강방법으로 판단된다.

Importance of a rigorous evaluation of the cracking moment in RC beams and slabs

  • The service loads are often decisive in the design of concrete structures. The evaluation of the cracking moment, $M_{cr}$, is an important issue to predict the performance of the structure, such as, the deflections of the reinforced concrete beams and slabs. To neglect the steel bars of the section is a simplification that is normally used in the computation of the cracking moment. Such simplification leads to small errors in the value of this moment (typically less than 20%). However, these small errors can conduce to significant errors when the values of deflections need to be computed from $M_{cr}$. The article shows that an error of 10% on the evaluation of $M_{cr}$ can lead to errors over 100% in the deformation values. When the deformation of the structure is the decisive design parameter, the exact computing of the cracking moment is obviously very important. Such rigorous computing might lead to important savings in the cost of the structure. With this article the authors wish to draw the attention of the technical community to this fact. A simple equation to evaluate the cracking moment, $M_{cr}$, is proposed for a rectangular cross-section. This equation leads to cracking moments higher than those obtained by neglecting the reinforcement bars and is a simple rule that can be included in Eurocode 2. To verify the accuracy of the developed model, the results of the proposed equation was compared with a rigorous computational procedure. The proposed equation corresponds to a good agreement when compared with the previous approach and, therefore, this model can be used as a practical aid for calculating an accurate value of the cracking moment.

Study on the mechanical behaviors of timber frame with the simplified column foot joints

  • Column foot in traditional Chinese timber structures may be subjected to be uplifted due to the lateral load and subsequently reset under the vertical loads. The residual moment of the rocking column foot is the most important parameter representing the mechanical behaviors of column foot, and the simplification of joints is the basis of structural analysis of whole structure. The complicated mechanical behaviors of joint and the modeling of the column foot joint has been undertaken historically based on the experiments and numerical simulation. On the condition of limited application range of those models, a lack of simplified model to represent the mechanical behaviors of joint deserves attentions. There is a great need to undertake theoretical studies to derive the residual moment and make better simplified model of the joint. This paper proposes the residual moment and equivalent simplified model of the rotational stiffness for column foot joint. And, the timber frame is established based on the simplified model, which is verified by solid finite element model. Results show that a mutual agreement on the mechanical behaviors of the timber frame is obtained between the simplified model and the solid finite element model. This study can serve as the references of the structural analysis for the traditional timber structures.

게임 캐릭터를 위한 폴리곤 모델 단순화 방법 (Polygonal Model Simplification Method for Game Character)

  • 컴퓨터 게임에서 사용하는 복잡한 3차원 캐릭터 모델을 단순한 모델로 만드는 것은 매우 중요하다. 제안 방법은 3차원 게임 캐릭터에서 특징선을 추출하여 모델을 단순화 시키는 새로운 방법에 대해 제안한다. 주어진 3차원 캐릭터 모델은 텍스처 정보를 포함하고 있다. 3차원 캐릭터 모델에서의 텍스처 및 곡률의 변동을 이용해서 2차원 맵인 모델특징맵(Model Feature Map)을 생성한다. 모델특징맵은 곡률 맵(curvature map)과 텍스처 맵(texture map)으로부터 생성되며, 본 맵을 통해 에지 추출 기법을 이용하여 특징선을 추출한다. 모델특징맵은 표준 영상처리툴을 이용해 쉽게 편집할 수 있다. 실험을 통하여 본 알고리즘의 효율성을 보여주며, 실험은 얼굴 캐릭터에 한정하지 않는다.

조직화되지 않은 점군으로부터의 3차원 완전 형상 복원 (Complete 3D Surface Reconstruction from Unstructured Point Cloud)

  • In this study a complete 3D surface reconstruction method is proposed based on the concept that the vertices of surface model can be completely matched to the unstructured point cloud. In order to generate the initial mesh model from the point cloud, the mesh subdivision of bounding box and shrink-wrapping algorithm are introduced. The control mesh model for well representing the topology of point cloud is derived from the initial mesh model by using the mesh simplification technique based on the original QEM algorithm, and the parametric surface model for approximately representing the geometry of point cloud is derived by applying the local subdivision surface fitting scheme on the control mesh model. And, to reconstruct the complete matching surface model, the insertion of isolated points on the parametric surface model and the mesh optimization are carried out Especially, the fast 3D surface reconstruction is realized by introducing the voxel-based nearest-point search algorithm, and the simulation results reveal the availability of the proposed surface reconstruction method.
