Objective : The aim of this study was to verify validity of the Activity Participation Assessment for school-age children. Methods : A questionnaire consisting of 30 items from the APA, 75 items from the PACS, and 55 items from the CAPE was administered to elementary school students. A total of 207 questionnaires were analyzed. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to confirm the construct validity of the APA. Convergence validity and discriminant validity were verified with the average variance extracted (AVE) and the square of the correlation coefficient. The discriminant validity was the Pearson correlation coefficient of the APA, PACS, and CAPE. Results : The results of the analysis were as follows: 1) For construct validity, the goodness of fit of the modified hierarchical second-order factor model was found to be appropriate (p < .001), 2) For convergent validity, the AVE was higher than .50 for all latent variables, 3) For discriminant validity, the AVE of the latent variable was greater than the square of the correlation coefficient (0.239), 4) For concurrent validity, the correlation between the total sum of the APA and PACS scores showed a positive correlation in all domains, and the correlation coefficient ranged from .303 to .647 at a statistically significant level (p < .01), 5) The correlation coefficient between the total sum of the APA and CAPE scores was .490 for recreational activities, .329 for physical activities, .571 for social activities, .401 for skill-based activities, and .390 for self-improvement activities. All domains showed a positive correlation, and were statistically significant (p < .01). Conclusion : APA can be used as a valid assessment tool to measure the participation of school aged children.
BACKGROUND: In recent years, studies on microplastics have focused on their decomposition in the ocean. However, no studies have been reported on the interaction between microplastics and metal ions in aqueous solutions. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the adsorption capacity of cadmium(Cd) by polypropylene (PP) in aqueous solution. METHODS AND RESULTS: Cadmium adsorption characteristics of PP in aqueous solution were evaluated through various conditions including initial Cd concentration(1.25-25 mg/L), contact time(0.5-24 h), initial pH(2-6) and temperature($20-50^{\circ}C$). Cadmium adsorption fit on PP was well described by Freundlich isotherm model with adsorption capacity(K) of 0.028. The adsorption amount of Cd by PP increased with increasing contact time, indicating that adsorption of PP by Cd was dominantly influenced by contact time. Especially, the removal efficiency of Cd by PP was highest at high temperature. However, the surface functional groups of PP before and after adsorption of Cd were similar, suggesting that adsorption of Cd by PP is not related to surface functional groups. CONCLUSION: Our study suggests that PP affects the behavior of Cd in aqueous solution. However, in order to clarify the specific relationship between microplastics and metal ions, mechanism research should be carried out.
The purpose of this study was to develop a tool to assess the job satisfaction of dental hygienists and to evaluate the validity and reliability of the dental hygienist. A total of 54 items were translated into 24 items through content validity and content analysis. It can be used to study the job satisfaction of dental hygienist in the future.
This study suggests that even if the consulting is started by the consulting of the company, it is difficult for the consulting firm to operate the consulting firm Consulting performance differs depending on the degree of understanding of consulting. Although consulting firms have been studying various prior research papers in view of the fact that there are many cases where they proceed with the sales strategy of repurchasing in mind, most of them deal with research on consulting performance on the supplier side, The purpose of this study is to investigate whether a company has a high level of participation in consulting in the event of a situation or situation and consequently influences the intention to purchase consulting. In order to find out whether they are visible, the reliability of the measured values and the fit of the measurement model by CFA were obtained through the exploratory factor analysis. The results were as follows: The results of this study are as follows. As a result of the study, it is necessary for the consultant to improve the participation of the consulting company and the understanding of the consulting in order to increase the intention of the consulting repurchase intention. Since the consultant shows the result in an empirical way, the consulting company participates in the role and process The results of this study are as follows. First, it is suggested that firms should be very careful about the participation and consulting understanding because they affect the repurchase intention of consulting firms.

This study shows that the Argovian Cantonal School in Aarau, Switzerland, which Albert Einstein attended from 1895 to 1896, had been closely related to the ideological education controversy in German Gymnasium throughout the 19th century. Due to this controversy, Einstein hardly received a formal science education in Bavaria. Despite the lack of formal education in Germany, he had a habit of self-studying from an early age and continued with this practice all through his life. He had a hard time at the authoritarian school in Munich, but at the democratic school in Aarau, where freedom and autonomy were secured, he was able to achieve emotional stability. For a long time, the city Aarau prevailed as a location of tolerance and multi-culturalism, without religious, regional, and national discrimination. This was possible due to the influence of external and unrestricted social mobility, as well as the Enlightenment from France. As a result, this small public school was able to acquire a mass of qualified human resources from outside of Switzerland. As a consequence of the controversy regarding the educational ideology, the Cantonal School adopted practical thoughts and the Enlightenment that fit the spirit of the times. The school consisted of two independent educational organizations: the Gymnasium, where the 'neuhumanistsch' education for the elite training was conducted, and the 'Gewerbeschule', where a more realistic education system was set up to suit the citizen life. In particular, after 1835, the Gymnasium changed gradually from the pure humanistic education to the 'utraquistisch' ways by introducing practical subjects such as natural history. Thereafter, the Cantonal School became an institution that was able to achieve a genuine humanity, academic, and civic life education. Einstein, who attended the 'technische Abteilung' of the 'Gewerbeschule,' considered this school as a role model of an institution that realized true democracy, and that left an unforgettable impression on him.
The purpose of this study is to validate the Play Participation Attitude Scale for parents of preschoolers, which was developed by the Delphi survey. 447 parents of 9 daycare centers in Seoul and Incheon were recruited for this study and, finally, data from 339 parents were used to perform exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and reliability analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, factor analyses revealed that the global fit of the sensitively play (7 items), responsively play (6 items), and delightfully play(7 items) three-factor model was good. Second, the internal consistency of the Play Participation Attitude Scale was good. Third, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the current scale and the parents' playfulness scale, indicating concurrent validity. Finally, higher scores of the Play Participation Attitude Scale and its three factors significantly predicted lower scores of parenting stress and higher scores of the preschoolers' self-control ability. These findings revealed that this new measure to be both valid and reliable and specifically suggests what kind of attitude is appropriate for parents to adopt when participating in preschoolers' play.
Since the outbreak of Corona 19, Universities and Lifelong Education Center's arts and sports classes are mainly conducted online. Unfortunately, even in dance where practical practice through face-to-face classes is important, the satisfaction of students is falling because of the limitations of online education. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the quality of education service they feel. In addition, since their academic departure is increasing, we intend to comprehensively study user satisfaction, continuous use intention, and academic continuity intention related to online education. This study confirmed the causal relationship between these 4 variables through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, model fit and validity verification, and path analysis. As a result of the study, 3 out of 6 hypotheses were adopted, and the of education service quality had a positive effect on satisfaction and use in online dance education. But there was also a limit that did not affect the intention to continue the study. In order to solve fundamental problems such as academic departure, follow-up studies taking into account more diverse social variables are needed.

In 2019, SUV sales surpassed sedans in the domestic sales market with phenomenal domestic sales. The strength of SUVs around the world is expected to continue in the future. South Korea's K-company aggressively launched small SUVs in the SUV market. Its simple lineup is recognized as a brand image, not as a SUV. It is time to evaluate this. Therefore, it influences the purchasing decisions of potential customers and buyers of small SUVs through the evaluation of design images of small SUVs in Korea. Rather than the functional properties of the SUV model, it is purchased by emotional characteristics, brand symbolism, and image. Subconsciousness of the purchasing psychology of the end consumer was used by metaphor extraction techniques. Customers wanted to study the evaluation of small SUV design images that fit their needs. We wanted to see if consumers who intend to purchase or purchase small SUVs in Korea had a connection with the image of design of small SUVs in Korea. The conclusion of the study was extracted through ZMET, a metaphor extraction technique, with the latent consciousness of the primary ambiguous message from the consumer's feeling and representation of the image. Therefore, based on the results of this study, we hope that the images presented in SUVs in the future will be used as a design guide in the development of small SUVs to influence customer thinking and behavior.
This study examined the relationship of grit, goal perception and academic adjustment of adult female students in a distance university. We additionally investigated how academic work-family conflict and social support influenced the grit-adjustment relationship. Grit is defined as passion and perseverance for long-term goals and it has been known as one of the predictors of adjustment indicators including academic achievement. A total of 642 female students in a distance university were participated in the survey and a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized for data analysis. Results showed that our model fit data well, specifically, two components of grit (i.e. consistency of interest and perseverance of effort) positively predicted academic adjustment. Results from analyses of specific indirect effects revealed that consistency of interest was found to have a positive direct effect on academic adjustment while perseverance of effort had a positive indirect effect via goal perception, suggesting the discriminant predictability of grit's two components. Lastly, academic work-family conflict was found to negatively predict academic adjustment while social support predicted a positive academic adjustment via goal perception.

In the present study, we have refined gomisin N, which represents activity in the proliferation of dermal papilla cells (HFDPCs) from the fruit of Schisandra chinensis (S. chinensis), and have identified optimal extraction conditions for obtaining extracts with high content of gomisin N. The activity of the extracts and fractions was evaluated, and the results indicated approximately 29% proliferation activity in the group treated with 1 ㎍/mL of n-hexane fraction. Column chromatography was used to assess the active ingredient in the n-hexane fraction, and two compounds, namely gomisin N(1) and schisandrin(2), were isolated and identified. When the HFDPCs proliferation activity was tested for the isolated compounds, gomisin N exhibited ≥ 20% proliferation activity. Thus, via response surface methodology (RSM), the optimum extraction conditions to obtain the maximum level of gomisin N from the fruit of S. chinensis were determined, where ethanol proportion, extraction time, and extraction temperature were used as the independent variables. The results revealed coefficient of determination ≥ 0.95 and p-value ≤ 0.05, which confirmed the fit of the model. The optimum extraction conditions to achieve the maximum content of gomisin N were as follows: ethanol proportion 83.8%, extraction temperature 80 ℃, and extraction time 8.7 h. The content of gomisin N using these conditions was predicted as 378,300 ppm, and a mean value close to the predicted value (376,884 ppm) was obtained while validating the aforementioned conditions.
