신호흐름도 모델을 이용한 화력 발전소 드럼형 보일러 시뮬레이터의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Drum-Type Boiler Simulator for Thermal Power Plant Using the Signal Flow Diagram Model)

  • Owing to the need to accommodate the load variation, thermal power plants need a modern controller in order to achieve better frequency regulation, faster response and higher efficiency. For a successful development of the digital instrumentation and control system that can adopt advanced control algorithms, power plant simulator must be available for safe and convenient test. In this paper, a simple drum-type boiler model is proposed using Signal Flow Diagram that describes the system by a combination of basic time responses representing the relationships between cause and effect process variables. After verifying the model and thereafter building a simulator based on the proposed model, we tested the operation of the controller and stability or efficiency of the implemented control algorithms.

  • Because of being operated to accomodate the load variation, fossile power plants need modern controller to satisfy frequency regulation, fast response and efficiency requirement. But in the way of developing the Digital Instrumentation and Control System that can adopt advanced control algorithms, power plant simulator must be available for safe and convenient test. In this paper, a simple drum-type boiler model is proposed, using Signal Flow Diagram that describes the system by a collection of basic time response representing the relationship between process variables. After verifying the model and thereafter building simulator based on the proposed model, we test the operation of controller and approve stability or efficiency of implemented control algorithms.

Takagi and M. Sugeno's fuzzy model. And we illustrate the improved characteristics as the simulation results, comparing with the conventional the PID and LQ controller design method

  • This paper describes a theoretical model for the prediction of the spacing profile between a flexible magnetic tape tensioned around a rotating drum and a protruding head mounted on the drum. The analysis is based on the coupled equations controlling the elastic deformation of the tape and the hydrodynamic pressure of the gas film. Some results are presented for a cylindrical head.

Simulation Analysis on Flexible Multibody Dynamics of Drum Brake System of a Vehicle

  • Using flexible multibody system dynamic method, the rigid-flexible coupling multibody dynamic analysis model of the drum brake system was developed, and the kinematic and dynamic simulation of the system was processed as its object of study. Simulations show that the friction will increase with the dynamic friction coefficient, but high dynamic friction coefficient will cause the abnormal vibration and worsen the stability of the brake system, even the stability of the whole automobile. The modeling of flexible multi-body can effectively analyze and solve complex three-dimensional dynamic subjects of brake system and evaluate brake capability. Further research and study on this basis will result in a convenient and effective solution that can be much helpful to study, design and development of the brake system.

  • In the hot forging process, The forging defects that are caused by metal were strain, temperate, and inclusion. In this paper, the computer simulation analyzed the effective plastic strain and temperature behaviors. The quantitative analyses which proposed the effective mold design of S/CAM shaft was executed. The parameters of forging shape that affected on the optimize conditions that was calculated with simple equation were investigated. it is expected that the developed analysis model and design technique would greatly contribute to the drum brake optimal design considering temperature affected and material behaviors. This development could save more than 20% of production cost and reduced failure rate to more than 30%. By improving the life span of mold from 15,000 to 25,000, financial difficulty of company imposed on a mold manufacture could be overcome.

  • The vibration of washing machine at spinning cycle is important problem that affects the performance of a product. In this raper, the inner structure of the washing machine is modeled as a rigid body suspension system and transfer farce caused by rotating unbalance mass is obtained using Newton's the 2nd law. and this model is used to predict the verge of walking instability during the spinning cycle. The walk of the drum washing machine is suggested by calculating the force transmissibility between drum and the cabinet. As calculating the resultant force exerted for cabinet, the friction coefficient of the pad is suggested to avoid the walk. In addition, relation between translational slip and rotational slip is derived and method to avoid the rotational slip is introduced.

  • In this paper, the FLVSC (Fuzzy Logic Variable Structure controller), of which control rules are extracted from the concepts of the VSC(Variable Structure control) is proposed and diesgned for drum motor(BLDC motor) in home VCR. The FLC (Fuzzy Logic Controller) based on linguistic rules has the advantages of not needing of some exact mathermatical model for plant to be controlled. The proposed method has the characteristics which are viewed in conventional VSC, e.g. insensitivity to a class of distrubances, parameter variations and uncertainites in a sliding mode. In addition, the method has the properties of the FLC-noise rejection capability etc. The computer simulation and experiment using DSP(TMS320C30) have been carried out for the servo control of VCR drum motor to show the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 비최소위상 시스템으로 표현되는 화력발전소 드럼의 수위제어를 위한 퍼지 제어기를 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 T. Takagi와 M. Sugeno의 퍼지모델을 기반으로 수행된다. 그리고 기존의 PID 및 LQ 제어기법을 적용한 방식과 비교하여 제안된 방법의 개선된 특성을 시뮬레이션 결과로부터 검증하였다.
