This study was performed to determine the voluntary range of joint mobility for middle-aged Korean adults. One hundred and eighty-eight subjects(99 males and 89 females) at the age range of 40 to 60 participated for this study. Thirty body movements at various joints were conducted to measure the range of joint mobility. Subjects were grouped by Rohrer's into four based on 25th percentile. The data were analyzed to see the differences of range of joint mobility between sexes and Rohrer's index groups. The results of this study and previous studies were compared to see the differences of range of joint mobility due to the aging. Results of this study indicate that females are generally more flexible than males. Significant differences were found to exist in fourteen movement between sexes and in ten movements, females have larger range of joint mobility than males. There were no significant differences in range of joint mobility may have a tendency to decrease with ages. The results of this study provide important information in dynamic dimensions for middle-aged Korean and can be used to design the various and work places for the middle-aged.

Of several approaches for future Internet, separating two properties of IP address into locator and identifier, is being considered as a highly likely solution. IETF's LISP (Locator ID Separation Protocol) is proposed for this architecture. In particular, the LISP model easily allows for device mobility through simple update of information at MS (Mapping Server) without a separate protocol. In recent years, some of the models supporting device mobility using such LISP attributes have emerged; however, most of them have the limitation for seamless mobility support due to the frequent MS information updates and the time required for the updates. In this paper, PMIPv6 (Proxy Mobile IPv6) model is applied for mobility support in LISP model. PMIPv6 is a method that can support mobility based on network without the help of device; thus, this we define anew the behavior of functional modules (LMA, MAG and MS) to fit this model to the LISP environment and present specifically procedures of device registration, data transfer, route optimization and handover. In addition, our approach improves the communication performance using three tunnels identified with locators between mobile node and corresponding node and using a route optimized tunnel between MN's MAG and CN's MAG. Finally, it allows for seamless mobility by designing a sophisticated handover procedure.

The IEFT has recently considered to provide flow mobility for multi-interface MN in the PMIPv6. In this paper, we proposed an extended BCE of the LMA and a novel mechanism for flow mobility of PMIPv6. With our proposal BCE and mechanism, the LMA can route packets by the flow label and hence packet loss during handover can be eliminated. Also, to validate our flow mobility scheme, we designed and implemented the PMIPv6 packet data unit and database of both LMA and MAG, and configured a testbed for flow mobility in PMIPv6. And the support of flow mobility was configured with the network connectivity test in our testbed. According to the Wireshark results, we can see that our proposed scheme works wells for flow mobility in PMIPv6.
Objective: In order to secure the right to walk for the weak, such as the disabled, this study aims to suggest ways to improve the pedestrian environment by identifying factors that cause obstacles to walking. Design: Data Analysis and Perception Survey. Methods: The questionnaire was conducted separately between users of personal mobility vehicle and non-users. A total of 207 effective questionnaires were collected, and the analysis analyzed the perception of personal mobility vehicle by conducting frequency analysis using SAS 9.4. The survey focused on basic information on respondents, walking conditions, understanding of personal mobility vehicle, awareness of pedestrian space passage and parking, and awareness of the possibility of securing pedestrian rights due to new regulations. Results: First, when moving a pedestrian path by personal mobility vehicle, it shall be limited to less than the walking speed of pedestrians. Second, the parking location of the personal mobility vehicle is located at the boundary of the pedestrian road and the lane. Third, pay a fair price to park in a pedestrian space. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the system to strengthen the contents of education to take into account the safety of pedestrians in education on how to use personal mobility vehicle.

In this study, fault diagnosis and detection methods developed to ensure the reliability of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) hydrogen electrolysis systems have been proposed. The proposed method consists of model development and data generation of the PEM hydrogen electrolysis system, and data-driven fault diagnosis learning model development. The developed fault diagnosis learning model describes how to detect and classify faults in the sensors and components of the system.
Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is a network-based mobility support protocol and it does not require Mobile Nodes (MNs) to be involved in the mobility support signaling. In the case when multiple interfaces are active in an MN simultaneously, each data flow can be dynamically allocated to and redirected between different access networks to adapt to the dynamically changing network status and to balance the workload. Such a flow redistribution control is called "flow mobility". In the existing PMIPv6-based flow mobility support, although the MN's logical interface can solve the well-known problems of flow mobility in a heterogeneous network, some missing procedures, such as an MN-derived flow handover, make PMIPv6-based flow mobility incomplete. In this paper, an enhanced flow mobility support is proposed for actualizing the flow mobility support in PMIPv6. The proposed scheme is also based on the MN's logical interface, which hides the physical interfaces from the network layer and above. As new functional modules, the flow interface manager is placed at the MN's logical interface and the flow binding manager in the Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) is paired with the MN's flow interface manager. They manage the flow bindings, and select the proper access technology to send packets. In this paper, we provide the complete flow mobility procedures which begin with the following three different triggering cases: the MN's new connection/disconnection, the LMA's decision, and the MN's request. Simulation using the ns-3 network simulator is performed to verify the proposed procedures and we show the network throughput variation caused by the network offload using the proposed procedures.

The core of the transportation service, so-called Mobility 4.0 is the flexibility of the entire mobility and its implementation. By doing so, the most essential element is to build a platform to link a supply and a demand simultaneously. In other word, a comprehensive analytical framework is to be set with a data repository which can be periodically updated. With such circumstances, the entire trip chain including pedestrian movements is required to be thoroughly investigated and constructed at the viewpoint of the intermodal transit station. A few studies, however, have been attempted. In this study, the comprehensive analytical framework with the integrated mobility at intermodal transit station was proposed, which consisted of the three modules; 1) Data Repository Extracting from Smart Card DB, 2) Framework of Analyzing Integrated Mobility, and 3) Interpretation of the Integrated Mobility with GIS information and the other factors. A case study with the seven railway stations (Sadang, Sindorom, Samseong, Gwanghwanoon, Gangnam, Jamsil, Seoul Nat'l Univ. of Education) was conducted. The stations of the case study were clustered by the three groups with the statistical ground, and it is most likely to understand the effect of a variety of factors and a comprehensive data-driven analyses with the entire trip stages.

Due to the low accuracy of measured data obtained from low-cost GNSS and IMU devices, it was hard to secure the required accuracy of the measured position and heading angle for autonomous navigation which was conducted by a model-scale marine mobility. In this paper, a localization technique using the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) is proposed for coping with the issue. First of all, a position and heading angle estimator is developed using EKF with the assumption of a point mass model. Second, the measured data from GNSS and IMU, including position, heading angle, and velocity are used for the estimator. In addition, the heading angle is additionally obtained by comparing the LiDAR point cloud with map information for a temporal water tank. The newly acquired heading angle is integrated into the estimator as an additional measurement to correct the inaccuracy in the heading angle measured from the IMU. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is investigated using data acquired from preliminary tests of the model-scale autonomous marine mobility.

Traditionally, simulation method is used to test and evaluate the performance of communication protocol or functional elements for mobile communication service. In this paper, wireless network simulator is implemented using the C++ object-oriented programming language. This simulator can simulate wireless data services, like as ad-hoc networks, by considering the user's mobility. In this paper, the simulator includes network traffic model to reflect wireless data service and traffic source model to represent a user's mobility similar to real service environment and traffic characteristics can be reflected on the simulation, and also more accurate simulation results can be got through that. In addition, by using object-oriented techniques, new service feature or environment can be easily added or changed so that the developed mobile communication simulator can reflect the real service environment all the time. This simulator can be used in adjusting the characteristics of wireless data hosts following the mobility of the user, and also can be used in building new wireless ad-hoc network routing protocols.
