Determinants of Users' Perceived Value on Mobile Contents Service (모바일 콘텐츠 서비스에 대한 인지된 사용자 가치 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, mobile internet technologies are enabling the possibility of radically new computing services which can share information and communicate with others on the move. In this situation, prior studies have attempted to identify of what factors make people use mobile internet. However, prior researches focused on investigating the factors affecting users' adoption to Mobile Internet. In order to offer beneficial materials to mobile internet companies, we investigated important factors to increase mobile users' value from the viewpoints of customer. In particular, this study was progressed how characteristics of mobile contents affect users' intrinsic attributes and how perceived users' network effects affect users' value in the mobile computing environments. To empirically test proposed hypotheses, we have analyzed 285 survey data gathering from mobile internet users and verified hypotheses by using SEM (structural equation modeling). Based on the results of this study, we found that content accessibility and content quality have significant impacts on users' intrinsic attributes such as perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. In addition, this study also revealed that perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment were positively related to users' emotional value. Moreover, this study found that perceived users' network effects could affect users' monetary value by mediating expected benefits. Based on our findings, we can understand that this perspective can provide a deeper understanding of the mobile users' value adoption by bridging the gap between mobile internet studies and actual practice.

  • An improvement of a mobile game content production and a service technology are bringing an explosive increase of a mobile game market. Currently serviced mobile games are using a WAP method and a download method. Because of technical problems, we couldn't develop the mobile game content which sequentially linked WAP->download and download->WAP. In this study, we design and develop the mobile game content which sequentially linked WAP->download and download->WAP. In the proposed method, we can linked the stage and the ranking information as sharing a data on real time that it is impossible in the previous mobile game content.

  • As mobile augmented reality technologies are spreading these days, many users want to produce augmented reality (AR) contents what they need by themselves. To keep pace with such needs, we have developed a mobile AR contents builder (hereafter referred to as MARB) that enables the user to easily connect a natural marker and a virtual object with various interaction events that are used to manipulate the virtual object in a mobile environment so that users can simply produce an AR content using natural photos and virtual objects that they select. MARB consists of five major modules-target manger, virtual object manager, AR accessory manager, AR content manager, and AR viewer. The target manager, virtual object manager and AR accessory manager register and manage natural target markers, various virtual objects and content accessories (such as various decorating images), respectively. The AR content manger defines a connection between a target and a virtual object with enabling various interactions for the desired functions such as translation/rotation/scaling of the virtual object, playing of a music, etc. AR viewer augments various virtual objects (such as 2D images, 3D models and video clips) on the pertinent target. MARB has been developed in a mobile application (app) format in order to create AR contents simply using mobile smart devices without switching to a PC environment for authoring the content. In this paper, we present the detail organizations and applications of MARB. It is expected that MARB will enable ordinary users to produce diverse mobile AR contents for various purposes with ease and contribute to expanding the mobile AR market based on spread of a variety of AR contents.

  • In recent years, the convergence of IT and IT sightseeing tour has emerged as a fusion of academic disciplines in the future. Convergence study of social data analysis, raising the heat. Social Network Services (SNS) being utilized in many areas of marketing and to apply the case study is also increasing. This study is based u-smart tourist information systems for mobile learning content design. This is the pattern of things in the template library for things to increase the effectiveness of the learning content to mobile learning content to be converted to a. Design of mobile learning content using u-smart things smart phone app (App) and XMI to go through the design process of utilizing the heat. Future through the design process by implementing a mobile learning content to meet information quality tourist information content to create mobile learning content and learning things that can be content to live it up advantage.

  • Mobile is expanding beyond just a content consumption tool to an exclusive platform role. Mobile content refers to the services of companies using mobile devices. The advantage is that it can analyze the user's behavior in real-time, increasing satisfaction according to preference. On the other hand, the disadvantage is that minors can easily make paid payments due to a convenient online payment environment. Be careful not to be exposed to provocative media without using a content unauthorized theft platform. In addition, it is necessary to find ways to increase the net function of the mobile content platform and reduce the dysfunction.

  • Due to the rapid progress in network technology, many research on content security technologies is also being conducted in the mobile digital content sector. In the meantime, content protection has been immersed in preventing illegal copying, certifying, and issuance/management certificates, but still have many vulnerabilities in managing or authenticating confidential information. This study aims to strengthen confidential information about content based on dual management of content download rights through mobile phone numbers or device numbers. It also protect replay-attack by building a secure mobile DRM system where digital content is safely distributed based on a three-stage user authentication process. In addition, blockchain-based content security enhancements were studied during the primary/secondary process for user authentication for the prevention of piracy and copyright protection. In addition, the client authentication process was further improved through three final stages of authorization in the use of illegal content, considering that legitimate users redistributed their content to third-party.

  • The advancement of ubiquitous networks facilitates and increases access to the Internet via mobile devices, which offers the advantages of enhanced mobility and accessibility. While Mobile Internet is largely free of temporal and spatial restrictions, producing content for mobile websites is a challenging work due to the existence of multiple device types and markup languages. This paper proposes a technique that makes use of image maps to improve the visual consistency of mobile web content displayed on a variety of mobile devices. The proposed image map method captures several objects comprising the webpage into a single image, and provides the image in Mobile Web services. Mobile devices employing the proposed method can reorganize webpages with multiple objects more easily and obtain the visually identical content on their screen.

  • Future mobile communications face enormous challenges as traditional voice services are replaced with increasing mobile multimedia and data services. To address the vast data traffic volume and the requirement of user Quality of Experience (QoE) in the next generation mobile networks, it is imperative to develop efficient content distribution technique, aiming at significantly reducing redundant data transmissions and improving content delivery performance. On the other hand, in recent years cloud computing as a promising new content-centric paradigm is exploited to fulfil the multimedia requirements by provisioning data and computing resources on demand. In this paper, we propose a cooperative caching framework which implements State based Content Distribution (SCD) algorithm for future mobile networks. In our proposed framework, cloud service providers deploy a plurality of cloudlets in the network forming a Distributed Cloud Service Network (DCSN), and pre-allocate content services in local cloudlets to avoid redundant content transmissions. We use content popularity and content state which is determined by content requests, editorial updates and new arrivals to formulate a content distribution optimization model. Data contents are deployed in local cloudlets according to the optimal solution to achieve the lowest average content delivery latency. We use simulation experiments to validate the effectiveness of our proposed framework. Numerical results show that the proposed framework can significantly improve content cache hit rate, reduce content delivery latency and outbound traffic volume in comparison with known existing caching strategies.

Design and Implementation of the Document HTML System for Preserving Content Integrity

  • An electronic document based on PDF has been widely used in customer communication between an enterprise and a customer to deliver personalized content. However, electronic documents based on PDF in the form of paper layouts are not suitable for mobile environments because of low readability and lack of interactive interaction. Even though HTML is an essential language in a mobile environment, electronic document based on PDF is still used as it has a content integrity verification feature with a digital signature. It means that a user is sacrificing user experience in a mobile environment for content integrity and using paper-layout electronic documents. In this research, we design the Document HTML specification by setting the Document HTML conformance, adding the extended meta tags, and signing the message digest with a digital signature based on public key infrastructure (PKI). Furthermore, we implemented the Document HTML system, which has REST API services to generate and verify the Document HTML, and did experimental verification of the theory. As a result, we have confirmed that the Document HTML has both content integrity and user experience on mobile. Furthermore, the Document HTML is expected to be an alternative document format to deliver personalized content from an enterprise to a customer in a mobile environment instead of the paper layout electronic document such as PDF.

  • Almost every mobile phone supports MMS to send and receive multimedia messages among users. MMS is suitable for different types of mobile phones and effectively operates in wireless environments. So the mobile content delivery method using MMS can be efficient. However, there would be some problems if a mobile service provider tries to deliver mobile content to subscribers by using the existing MMS. In this paper, we propose an improved data transmission and control scheme for MMS. Our scheme assists mobile service providers to deliver mobile contents easily by modifying the MMS system software. By using our scheme, mobile service providers are able to manage mobile contents stored in mobile devices. Therefore, they can provide various services such as mobile daily news service, automatic software upgrade service, mobile advertising service, etc. We verify the possibility of the proposed scheme through simulation.
