The obstacle collision avoidance methods in the chaotic mobile robots

  • In this paper, we propose a method to avoidance obstacle in which we assume that obstacle has an unstable limit cycle in the chaos trajectory surface. In order to avoid the obstacle, we assume that all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface in which has an unstable limit cycle with Van der Pol equation. In this paper show also that computer simulation results are satisfy to avoid obstacle in the chaos trajectory with Chua's circuit equation of one or multi obstacle has an limit cycle with Van der Pol (VDP) efuation and compare to rate of cover in one robot which have random walk and Chua's equation.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to avoid obstacles that have unstable limit cycles in a chaos trajectory surface. We assume all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface have a Van der Pol equation with an unstable limit cycle. We also show computer simulation results of Arnold equation, Chua's equation, Hyper-chaos equation, Hamilton equation and Lorenz chaos trajectories with one or more Van der Pol obstacles.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to avoid obstacles that have unstable limit cycles in a Hyperchaos trajectory surface. We assume all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface have a Van der Pol equation with an unstable limit cycle. When a chaos robot meets an obstacle in a hyper-chaos equation trajectory, the obstacle reflects the robot. We also show computer simulation result of hyperchaos equation trajectories with one or more Van der Pol obstacles.

  • Recent issue of optical actuator is applying to mobile device. It leads actuator to become smaller than conventional type. This paper proposes the design of micro actuator plate spring and analysis of its vibration characteristic. Considering natural frequency of spindle motor, 1st and 2nd eigenfrequency of micro actuator must avoid its natural frequency. First, magnetic circuit is designed by using fine pattern coil and magnetic force is acquired by simulation program. Then, concept design is achieved by topology optimization. From concept design, micro actuator plate spring is embodied through DOE(design of experiment). Finally, considering vibration characteristic simultaneously, optimal plate spring design is determined by RSM(response surface method).

  • The capacitance-voltage (C-V) chracteristics of thin nitrided thermal oxides prepared by rapid termal nitridation(RTN) have been studied. The threshold voltages were calculated using C-V measurement and found to vary as the concentration of acceptor and the thickness of oxynitride. When the Si02 films were annealed in NH3 a decrease in the positive oxide charge due to Si-N bond was observed. In the case applied frequency is high and low, the high frequency depletion capacitance was higher than that of low frequency, which is indicative of high frequency surface conduction by mobile surface charge.

  • There have been intensive and continuous efforts in the field of DLC coating process because of their feature, like high hardness, high elasticity, abrasion resistance and chemical stability and have been applied widely the industrial areas. In this research, optimal grinding condition was investigated using Microlens Process Machine for the development of aspheric glass lens which is to be used for mobile phone module with 3 mega pixel and 2.5X optical zoom, and tungsten carbide(WC) mold cote was manufactured using high performance ultra precision machining and the effects of DLC coating on the form accuracy(PV) and surface roughness(Ra) of WC mold core was evaluated.

  • Mg and Mg alloys have been used for lots of applications, including automobile industry, aerospace, mobile phone and computer parts owing to low density. However, Mg and Mg alloys have a restricted application because of poor corrosion properties. Thus, improved surface treatments are required to produce protective films that protect the substrate from corrosive environments. Environmental friendly Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) has been widely investigated on magnesium alloys. PEO process combines electrochemical oxidation with plasma treatment in the aqueous solution. In this study, AZ91 Mg alloys were treated by PEO process in controlling the current with PC condition and treated time, concentration of NaF, NaOH, and $Na_2SiO_3$. The surface morphology and phase composition were analyzed using SEM, EDS and XRD. The potentiodynamic polarization tests were carried out for the analysis of corrosion properties of specimen. Additionally, salt spray tests were carried out to examine and compare the corrosion properties of the PEO treated Mg alloys.

  • In this paper, an analytical model for I-V characteristics of a HEMTs is Proposed. The developed model takes into account the temperature dependence of drain current. In high-speed ICs for optical communication systems and mobile communication systems, temperature variation affects performance; for example the gain, efficiency in analog circuits and the delay time, power consumption and noise mrgin in digital circuits. To design such a circuit taking into account the temperature dependence of the current-voltage characteristic is indispensible. This model based on the analytical relation between surface carrier density and Fermi potential including temperature dependent coefficients.

  • 마그네슘 판재의 온간 스프링백 거동 예측을 위한 재료 거동 모델을 고찰하였다. V-굽힘 시험에 관한 기존 문헌의 결과와 비교하여 재료 모델의 타당성을 토하였다. 스프링백 거동의 정량화를 위해 온간 S-rail 프레스금형에 의한 성형 시험을 수행하였다. 성형 시험은 다양한 온도, 속도, 성형깊이 조건에서 수행하였으며 시험 결과를 서로 비교하였다. 재료 모델을 사용하여 S-레일 성형에 따른 스프링백 예측을 위한 유한요소해석을 수행하고 그 결과를 시험 측정값과 비교하였다. 이로부터 재료 모델의 한계와 가능성을 고찰하였다.

  • A method of detecting the specific patterns related to hand motions using the surface EMG(electromyogram) on an arm is proposed and tested. To do this, we obtain separately modeling parameters based on the LP, Prony estimator, and calculate the latency shift value between channels by cross-correlation function. Then, the coefficients and latency shift value are applied to the detection method to classify the EMG signals related to hand motions. Compared with the conventional methods, the present method are more useful to detect the motion intention of the user as an input device in the mobile and wearable computing environments. And, We expect that the results of this study are helpful in the development of rehabilitation devices for the handicapped.
