This study suggests the application of spatial CUSUM control chart in monitoring areal population mobility data which is recently provided by Seoul metropolitan government. Methods: Monitoring series of standardized local Moran's I enables one to detect spatio-temporal out-of-control status based on the accumulation of past patterns. Moreover, we visualize such pattern map for more intuitive comprehension of the phenomenon. As a case study, we have analyzed the female mobility population aged 25 to 29 appeared in 51 Jipgyegu near Hongik university on fridays from January, 2017 to June, 2018. They are validated by exploring related articles and through local due diligence. Results: The results of the analysis provide insights in figuring out if the change of the mobility population is short-term by particular incident or long-term by spatial alteration, which allows strategic approach in constructing response system. Specific case near popular downtown near Hongik University has shown that newly opened hotels, shops of global sports brand and franchise bookstores have attracted young female population. Conclusion: We expect that the results of our study contribute to planning effective distribution of administrative resources to prepare against drastic increase in floating population. Furthermore, it can be useful in commercial area analysis and age/gender specific marketing strategy for companies.

  • Web-based services are used widely in many computer application fields due to the increasing use of PCs and mobile devices. Accordingly, topics on the analysis of access logs generated in the application fields have been researched actively to support personalized services in the field, and analyzing techniques based on the weight differentiation of information in access logs have been proposed. This paper outlines an analysis technique for web-click streams, which is useful for finding high utility old item sets in web-click streams, whose data elements are generated at a rapid rate. Using the technique, interesting information can be found, which is difficult to find in conventional techniques for analyzing web-click streams and is used effectively in target marketing. The proposed technique can be adapted widely to analyzing the data generated in a range of computing application fields, such as IoT environments, bio-informatics, etc., which generated data as a form of data streams.

  • The performance of the personalized product recommendation system for offline shopping malls is poor compared with the one using online environment information since it is difficult to obtain visitors' characteristic information. In this paper, a mobile robot platform is suggested capable of recommending personalized advertisement using customers' sex and age information provided by Face API of MS Azure Cloud service. The performance of the developed robot is verified through locomotion experiments, and the performance of API used for our robot is tested using sampled images from open Asian FAce Dataset (AFAD). The developed robot could be effective in marketing by providing personalized advertisements at offline shopping malls.

  • The competition for telecommunication-broadcasting bundle is under full steam. Even large mobile OS companies like Apple and Google are showing signs of moving into the telecom and broadcasting industry, and it is expected that competition for bundle will become even fiercer. In the light of this situation, this study will show which factors can heighten purchasing intention for bundle and lower expected-discounting rates, seeking its answer in the quality, satisfaction, and brand loyalty to core product. The results of the study show that the brand loyalty to core product affects the customer's purchasing intention positively while lowering expected-discounting rates. This conclusion suggests the importance of a marketing strategy that heightens satisfaction of existing customers who use a single item, which is just as important as strategies to induce switching behavior of the customers of other companies through competitive pricing. Also, the results suggest that rather than appeal to loyal customers through discounts, it is more effective to offer them different benefits or value.

  • The cognitive ability of humans depends much on the vision. 'Vision' refers to the sense that receives stimulus of light through eyes. 'Gaze' refers to a function of a straight line that connects the central point of the pupil and a viewpoint in the external world, and, in general, it means a straight line that connects an object that is viewed and the eyes. There are active studies on the gaze in various academic circles including 'psychology' and 'cognitive linguistics.' As a method to objectively analyze the gaze, studies on 'eye tracking' are revitalized. A device for studies on eye tracking is an 'eye tracker.' As the fields of the study expand from development and analysis of Web pages to analysis of stores, methods of traffic signal processing, transport equipment, analysis of user experiences on image contents, and marketing analysis, there occurs a greater demand for a glasses eye-tracking than that for a fixed eye tracker. This study identifies the overview and characteristics of eye tracking and presents a way for spreading studies on eye tracking.

  • Omni-channel strategy is an innovative paradigm for integrated information distribution of inventory, sales, operations, marketing, delivery, pickups and returns in supply chain management. Recently the distribution strategy faces new challenges with the advent of mobile distribution channels. Social media with countless apps imposes additional stress on supply chain operations. Due to these changes, distribution network in supply chain is changing naturally and rapidly from multi-channel to omnni-channel platform. Recently numerous domestic distributors establish and adapt this new supply chain optimization tool as a part of seamless flow of movements of goods from one channel to other channels. The objective of this paper is to present a preliminary findings on how omnni-channel affects the supply chain management. A survey is used to ascertain in the degree of omnni-channel implementation and statistical evidence is provided to test sets of hypothesis. The results of the questionnaire showed that consumers' purchasing styles differed by gender, age, purchase purpose, and product type. In particular, women consider purchasing experience in omni-channel to be important. As food and household goods can be conveniently shipped, consumers prefer online purchasing it. Conversely, consumers tend to favor omni-channel strategy in connection with offline experience in IT products.
