  • In this paper, we proposed availability evaluation of network in mobile communication network that have hand off structure. Radio mobile communication network is essential hand off action to keep communication that is no discontinuance by transfer of terminal. Part by state and hand off state ago hand off by transfer of terminal and communication network is estimated performance according to the hand off rate and hand off completion rate of system. we applied MS, SM, MM communication structure in radio CORBA for network availability evaluate. System availability in mobile communication network that can repair that propose in this study uses the hand off rate and hand off completion rate of system by transfer of terminal and availability of whole system did evaluate.

Position Location of Mobile Terminal in Wireless MIMO Communication Systems

  • A promising approach to improve the performance of mobile location system is the use of antenna arrays in both transmitter and receiver sides. Using advanced array signal processing techniques, such multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems can offer more mobile location information by exploiting the spatial properties of the multipath channel. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to determine the position of mobile terminal based on estimated multipath signal parameters using only one base station in MIMO communication systems. This approach intends to minimize the error occurring from the estimation of multiple paths and gives an optimal estimation of the position of mobile terminal by simultaneously calculating a set of nonlinear location equations. This solution breaks the bottleneck of conventional mobile location systems which have to require multilateration of at least three base stations.

  • The change in performance of the mobile communication field took place due to jumping development of technology, so high performance terminals that anyone can directly search and amend desired information anywhere and anytime, namely, the mobile communication terminals called Smartphone were released to the market. The terminal can store informations that an individual stored, for example, call log, where to make contact and address of acquaintances, transmit/receive message and mail, photographs and videos, etc., but there are worries on surreptitious use of other people due to leaking of personal information through loss or theft of these terminals because of several reasons, so the present thesis aims to realize a method that remotely control information inside a terminal in case of loss of a mobile communication terminal.

  • The development of the mobile communication has been enlarged gradually and has been changed voice centered services into data centered ones supporting Internet to provide various kinds of mobile internet services. Researches for data transmission have been achieved actively lot the effective approachment of web in the mobile terminal. The users using mobile communication are increasing for its easy handcarried and movement and the information in internet based upon wire communication has been changed into mobile communication fast. The development of mobile internet requires various mobile contents using mobile internet at any time and at any place due to rapid enhance of network capacity and mobile internet according to network expansion. To accept these needs, there are many difficult problems that contents must be remade according to various terminal features and the develoument costs much. To solve these problems, this paper has the pun)me that contents of Web documents are changed and processed through XML palter and design new mobile contents system, providing mobile services rapidly and obtaining the charge reduction result with the enhance of contents development to the shortening of a development Period.

Performance Analysis of Mobile Satellite Terminal Channel using ARQ Technique (ARQ 기법을 활용한 이동형 위성단말 채널의 성능분석)

  • In this paper, the performance is confirmed by applying ARQ technology to the shadowing channel occurring in the mobile satellite terminal. Shadowing is a signal disruption caused by movement of a satellite terminal. An ARQ technique may be used to retransmit the signal to compensate for signal interruption.In satellite communication, shadowing occurs in the transmission channel and the ack channel. The expected throughput after applying ARQ technique is different according to the correlation of shadowing occurring in two channels. Therefore, we confirm the expected performance when ARQ is applied in the shadowing channel. As a result, it is shown that the amount of transmission is different when the terminal transmits and receives, and the performance can be predicted formally.

  • As the number of mobile telephone users increases, technologies fur increasing quality of services between a mobile terminal and the base station transceiver system become more important than ever. The important criteria of quality of service includes minimum interference of base station, the success rate of network access and portability between different mobile companies. Among many factors, the successful rate of network connection between a mobile terminal and the base station is the most important. In this paper, we introduce an analysis system of mobile terminals using RS-232C communication after considering such environments. This application software simulates the communicational signals between and mobile terminals and the base station and shows the results through the graphs. Using this system, the task about testing communication performance of mobile terminals will be easy since it helps to analyze the status of communication.

  • In this paper, concerning the various advertising and policy advertising of the election with respect to whether to deliver a message to a large number of people, we design and implement an automative system what enables sending the text messages directly from the server to the client and also fast feedback is enabled by utilizing a number of operational programs to connect to the server. Therefore, we design and implement the automative communication system which enables delivering message to each user mobile terminal from a plurality of relay mobile terminals by utilizing the mobile instant messenger, not to deliver a message from the server to the mobile instant messenger user directly. In result of comparative analysis on the number of times of data transmission, this automative communication system utilizing mobile instant messenger shows the result that it enables transmitting five times per minute as it can copy and paste in the automation system regardless of the size of the data loading, otherwise in case of transmitting manually it show the result that the number of times of data transmission is reduced if the size of the data is larger.

  • In general, a wireless communication device has employed a whip antenna or a stubby antenna. Recently, wireless communication device is increasingly employing an embedded antenna, Intenna, for the sake of miniaturization. Further, it may employ both external and embedded antennas. Examples of the embedded antenna include a multi-band monopole antenna, which radiates uniformly in all directions when viewed from above, and a planar inverted F antenna (PIFA), which is a variation of the monopole antenna. However, since the conventional antenna is mounted in a finished state on the mobile communication terminal, there is a limitation of space required for providing the antenna. According to the present study, there is provided an Intenna that is deposited on a front or back case of the mobile communication terminal by a sputtering method. Accordingly, it is possible to overcome a limitation of space required for providing the Intenna and to improve the performance of the Intenna formed on the front or back case of the mobile communication terminal.

  • To renew the group key securing on the mobile communication needs that it can be not oかy re-shared by all members of the group with the exception of members excluded but also prevented from making a fraudulent use of a terminal's registered key because of a leakage of information from the loss of terminal. In this paper, we propose an efficient renewal mechanism of group key in order for all members of the group to be able to get digital information and to perform the renewal of group key in a small-scale conference employing the Fiat-Shamir method. It can guarantee the security of terminals, since a terminal generates security information needed for key renewal, and then renews the group key for mutual communication.
