Mobile traffic is increasing a masse because of the propagation of the Internet and the development of wireless mobile technology. Accordingly, the Network Local Mobility Management (NETLMM) working group [1] of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has standardized Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) [2] as a protocol for accomplishing the transmissibility of mobile terminals. PMIPv6 is a network-led IP-based mobility management protocol, which can control terminal mobility without depending on the type of access system or the capability of the terminal. By combining PMIPv6 and the mobility of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), we can establish terminal mobility and session mobility through a more effective route. The mobility function can be improved and the overlap of function reduced as compared to that in the case of independent operation. PMIPv6 is appropriate for a non-real-time service using TCP, and SIP is appropriate for a real-time service using RTP/UDP. Thus, in the case of a terminal using both services, an effective mobility management is possible only by using PMIPv6 together with SIP. In order to manage mobility in this manner, researches on PMIPv6-SIP are in progress. In line with this trend, this paper suggests a new PMIPv6-SIP architecture where when a mobile terminal conducts a handover, a network-led handover while maintaining the session without the addition of a special function or middleware is possible along with effective performance evaluation through mathematical modeling by comparing the delay and the packet loss that occur during the handover to the Pure-SIP.

Nowadays, the interests in travel are increasing with the changes into the ubiquitous computing environments, hence, our location-based travel information service system would be potentially invaluable to graft the Internet business models. Most of existing travel information services are provided in a one-way push manner from the contents providers to users, and they have drawbacks of enforcing users to search their needed information with the general Web surfing. Therefore, this paper propose the travel information system for gathering user information and for providing services that satisfy user requirements by filtering based on these information.

This paper introduces a program structure that minimizes the client's business logic by reducing the client's specifications as a way of minimizing the limitations of online game platforms. The objective of this thesis is to design an online game that is based on a 3-tier client/server structure, and thus using this 3-tier structure to ultimately create an online Sutda game that anyone can enjoy. The progression of newly released games is highly based on the mobile market and the number of online games being launched is decreasing. As the mobile game market grows, more and more multi-platform games are being developed and target platforms within online games are greatly diversifying. Through these situations, this thesis minimizes the client's business logic through a 3-tier structure of application-middleware-database, and also proposes an online game client/server that allows three or more users to participate simultaneously through the server.

In this paper, we propose a model that can convert some of the simulation program resources to a mobile environment. Recently, smart factories that use PLCs as controllers in the manufacturing industry are rapidly becoming widespread. However, in the situation where it is difficult to operate due to the shortage of PLC operation personnel, the actual situation is that a platform for PLC operation education is necessary. Currently most PLC-related educational platforms are based on 2D, which makes accurate learning difficult and difficult. When a simulation program is applied to distance learning in a general PC environment, many elements are displayed on the monitor, which makes screen switching inconvenient. Experiments with the proposed model confirmed that there was no frame deterioration under general circumstances. The average response time by the request frame was 102 ms, and it was judged that the learner was not at the level of experiencing the system delay.
As RFID tag prices have rapidly been declining because of the advance of RFID technology, each tag is attached to an individual item, not a packing box only, for managing the item much more precisely. However, some mechanisms are essential to handle a very large amount of tag data quickly because readers and middlewares processing RFID data have limited hardware resources. In this paper, we design and implement a new mobile agent-based distributed software tools to satisfy this requirement efficiently. These tools provide a convenient environment enabling required data to be pre-processed repeatedly in transit by transferring a mobile agent including its specified data collection policy to numerous mobile readers. This behavior can significantly reduce the elapsed time required for processing huge volumes of tag data at the readers and middlewares with their very high recognition rates compared with the existing one to process the data by fixed readers after having arrived at the destination

In this paper, we propose the active rule system applying with emotional margin for power saving control. The proposed system in this paper is a part of the system which derives smart power saving by adjusting the illuminance using active rules within compromising the user's emotion. For this, we set the specific range of standard illuminance and the lower bound of user's emotional margin of illuminance based on measurements and analysis, and use these data in design of active rules. And then, we design and implement the active rule system using mobile agent. The mobile agent in the proposed system migrates to the destination sensor nodes, acquires and transmits sensor data according to the purpose and needs through the active rules, and directly executes the actions corresponding to the optional events(changed sensor data and/or time etc.). And then, we show the potential applicability of the proposed active rule system in various active sensor network applications through the interaction with the rule base and mobile sensor network middleware system.

The current sensor network analyzes the data collected by the sensing of fixed sensor nodes and provides a service. However, this method cannot actively handle the state and the change in the position of people, 'the target for sensing and the change in the environment', including home automation, building automation and real-time road & weather information, and healthcare environment, etc. To support a dynamic situation which is appropriate for an individual in this diverse environment, it is necessary to provide actively differentiated specific information according to the movement of people and the changes in the environment. In this study, a individualized sensor mobile agent middleware which provides the individualized information (the location of fire incidence and the trace for the path of spread), has been realized through the sensor network environment constructed by the installation of wireless sensor nodes mounted with mobile agent middlewares in buildings.

This paper proposed about a load-balanced multi-agent model in mobile distribution environment to monitor moving patients and to deal with a situation of emergency. This model was designed to have a structure based on distribution framework by expanding a mobile system, and provides healthcare services based on real time situational information on moving patients. In order to overcome the limitation of middleware when we design system, we provided an abstract layer between applications and their base network infrastructure so that balance between QoS requests and network life can be maintained. In addition, clustering was used in cells for the efficient load distribution among multi-agents. By using Clustering FCM, we got optimal resources and had solve about transmission delay.

As computer systems of high capacity and high performance recently emerged, various researches about GISs(Geographic Information Systems) have been in progress and many GIS applications have also been developed. From the domestic situation where many people are using mobile devices, because of the recent advances in the mobile technology, we can infer that the time will come when every individual will carry a mobile device with a GPS(Global Positioning System) module resulting from the development of a miniature GPS Module. Therefore, a mobile GIS that can allows users to deal with dynamic GIS data management and perform their tasks while moving will be required. This paper discusses the design and implementation of a mobile GIS using the shareware DBMS, called postgresSQL. The Mobile GIS in which a mobile concept is utilized at the GIS data server makes it possible to insert, delete, update GIS data, to zoom in and zoom out displayed maps, and to locate the user's position on the client device. Therefore, It is possible to manage dynamic GIS data in order to deal with GIS data on the maps while moving, connect various GIS data servers through the middleware, and connected with ITS (Intelligent Transport System) which is one of applications of the Mobile GIS developed in this paper.
