  • In this paper, an efficient approach to classification of transient and harmonic disturbances in power systems is proposed. First, the Stop-and-Go CA CFAR Detector is utilized to detect a disturbance from the power signals which are mixed with other disturbances and noise. Then, (i) Wigner Distribution, SVD(Singular Value Decomposition) and Fisher´s Criterion (ii) DWT and Fisher´s Criterion, are applied to extract an efficient feature vector. For the classification procedure, a combined neural network classifier is proposed to classify each corresponding disturbance class. Finally, the 10 class data simulated by Matlab power system blockset are used to demonstrate the performance of the proposed classification system.

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the wall components of Sarang-taechong in the upper class houses of Chosun dynasty. Physical trace method was used for this study. The samples were taken from the Sarang-taechong of 6 traditional Korean houses; Yunkyungdang, the ancient Chusa estate, Sunkyojang, Chunghyodang, Yangjindant, Unjorn. The makor findings were summarized as follows; 1) The common components of each wall were pillars, sanginbangs(upper horizontal beams), hainbangs (lower horizontal beams), door and windows. Changbangs(wood eave pieces that suported decoration blocks), changyos(a pice of wood fitted between the tops of pillars and upper tori cross beams), and morums(the top wainscot board laid horizontally between the bottom beam and the bottom portion of a window frame) were additional. 2) The composition of every south wall was symmetrical and the other threes were mixed symmetrical and asymmetrical. 3) The image of wall was classified-fine, strong, and modera e, according to the symmetry or asymmetry of wall composition, the width of each components, the kind of window.

  • The author used cephalometric roentgenogram to observe the longitudinal change by orthodontic treatment for early class III malocclusion in primary and mixed dentition. First, the cephalometric roentgenograms were measured and following results were obtained 1. SNA, SNB, ANB, Gonial angle, and SN to mandibular plane were measured as skeletal pattern and $\underline{1}$ to SN. $\overline{1}$ to mandibular plane and interincisal angle were measured as denture pattern. 2. Angular measurements for the Class III malocclusion were compared with those for the normal occlusion of the same Hellman dental age.

  • This paper is dedicated to study a new class of general nonlinear random A-maximal $m$-relaxed ${\eta}$-accretive (so called (A, ${\eta}$)-accretive [49]) equations with random relaxed cocoercive mappings and random fuzzy mappings in $q$-uniformly smooth Banach spaces. By utilizing the resolvent operator technique for A-maximal $m$-relaxed ${\eta}$-accretive mappings due to Lan et al. and Chang's lemma [13], some new iterative algorithms with mixed errors for finding the approximate solutions of the aforesaid class of nonlinear random equations are constructed. The convergence analysis of the proposed iterative algorithms under some suitable conditions are also studied.

  • The objective of this study was to develop the classification method of various organic wastes. Specifically, the effects of proximate composition on the biogas production and degradation rates of agricultural by-production was investigated and a new standards for mixture of various organic wastes based on proximate composition combination was developed. Agricultural by-products (ABPs) with medium total carbohydrate, medium crude protein and low fat contents demonstrated the single step digestion process. ABPs with low total carbohydrate, high crude protein and high fat contents demonstrated the two step digestion process of Diauxic growth. The single ABP (Class No. 15) and the mixed ABPs (Class No. 12+18, 6+12+22, 9+12+18) after 10days showed the similar biogas yield pattern. We can use the classification method for the more ABPs and organic wastes from factory and municipal waste treatment plant for the high efficient biogas production.

  • Temporal variability in lake phytoplankton is controlled by a complex between hydrological and chemical factors, and biological interactions. We explored annual change of phytoplankton in Lake Daecheong, using phytoplankton analysis data from 1997 to 2002 (except 2000). The standing crop of phytoplankton was ranged from 3.5 x 10 to 1.5 x 106 cells mL$^{-1}$ and the highest mean value was at site 1. The class composition ratios of phytoplankton standing crop were divided into three classes. From January to March, diatoms showed a dominance (68.1-77.7%). From April to June, diatoms were mixed with cryptomonad etc. or blue-green algae. From July to October, blue-green algae showed a dominance (54.7-84.0%). In the case of green algae, the class composition ratios were below 10%. But green algae appeared all the year round.

  • In this paper, a new class of $(h,{\eta})$-proximal for proper functionals in Hilbert spaces is introduced. The existence and Lip-schitz continuity of the $(h,{\eta})$-proximal mappings for proper functionals are proved. A class of generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusions in Hilbert spaces is introduced. A perturbed three-step iterative algorithm with errors for the generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusion is suggested. The existence and uniqueness theorems of solution for the generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusion are established. The convergence and stability results of iterative sequence generated by the perturbed three-step iterative algorithm with errors are discussed.

  • Basu et al. (1998) proposed the minimum divergence estimating method which is free from using the painful kernel density estimator. Their proposed class of density power divergences is indexed by a single parameter $\alpha$ which controls the trade-off between robustness and efficiency. In this article, (1) we introduce a new large class the minimum squared distance which includes from the minimum Hellinger distance to the minimum $L_2$ distance. We also show that under certain conditions both the minimum density power divergence estimator(MDPDE) and the minimum squared distance estimator(MSDE) are asymptotically equivalent and (2) in finite samples the MDPDE performs better than the MSDE in general but there are some cases where the MSDE performs better than the MDPDE when estimating a location parameter or a proportion of mixed distributions.

  • This study is a basic experiment to complement the problems in decrease of strength in case we change lots of fly ash("FA" here in after) in ordinary portland cement("OPC" here in after). Mixing plaster that is known to be effective in improvement in hydration of blast furnace slag powder("BS" here in after). After FA changed concrete is mixed, the study physical proporties such as compression strength, increased proportionaly. When second-class BS 5 % and gypsum 2 % changed, compare to OPC strength approximately 120 % was recorded after one day. In FA 20 % case, according to the ratio of gypsum changed results showed similar trend, but compared to FA 10 % changed concrete, expression strength improvement was lower.

  • In this work, we define bivariate Bernstein-Kantorovich type operators on a triangular domain and obtain some approximation results for these operators. We start off by computing some moment estimates and prove a Korovkin type convergence theorem. Then, we estimate the rate of convergence using the partial and complete modulus of continuity, and derive a Voronovskaya-type asymptotic theorem. Further, we calculate the order of approximation with regard to the Peetre's K-functional and a Lipschitz type class. In addition, we construct the associated GBS type operators and compute the rate of approximation using the mixed modulus of continuity and class of the Lipschitz of Bögel continuous functions for these operators. Finally, we use the two operators to approximate example functions in order to compare their convergence.
