World leading company and research centers have invested much cost and effort into a PLM and digital manufacturing field to obtain their own competitiveness. We have been trying to apply a digital manufacturing, especially simulation to ship production process as a part of PLM implementation for a shipyard. A shipbuilding production system and processes have a complexity and a peculiarity different from other kinds of production systems. So, new analysis and modeling methodology is required to implement digital shipyard. which is a digital manufacturing system for a shipbuilding company. This paper suggests an analysis and simulation modeling methodologies for an implementation of a digital shipyard. New methodologies such as a database-merged simulation, a distributed simulation, a modular simulation with a model library and a 3-tire simulation framework are developed.
In this paper, we argue that characteristics of ubiquitous business are different from those of e-business or m-business. We have developed a u-business model development framework incorporating the concept of value co-creation experiences, which is a core of the ubiquitous business paradigm. The framework of u-business model development presented in this paper consists of eight steps such as defining of domain, discovery of opportunity nucleus, defining of potential co-creation experience environment, deriving candidates of u-business services, selecting u-business killer services, defining value propositions of u-business killer services, defining u-business killer service offerings, and drawing a resource map of u-business killer services. The proposed u-business model development framework offers useful guidelines for practitioners to develop successful u-business models under a ubiquitous business paradigm.
While there is consensus on the educational potential of serious games, there is still a lack of methodology and tools to support analysis and evaluation as well as design. This paper intends to explore the new methodology or design direction by analyzing pedagogy-related research required for serious games. To do this, we analyzed 4DF(Four Dimensional Framework), GOM(Game Object Model), LM(Learning Mechanics)-GM(Game Mechanics) and a framework for teacher. One of the biggest issues faced by educational games is the inadequate integration of education and game principles. This is due to a variety of factors, including the fact that game designers and educational professionals do not share a common vocabulary or work domain perspective.

In order to keep and increase a competitive potential, industrial enterprises have to reduce their costs for product development as well as shorten lead time in product development processes. Moreover they have to respond to market factors and conditions such as increasing demands for functionality and individuality of products, short product life cycles, high pressure on prices and time to market. The improved functional requirement in connection with high time and cost pressure lead to high risk in product development. Technological fine improvements in connection with high time and cost pressure lead to high development risk. To cope with these challenges many enterprises have to collaborate globally. The collaborative engineering in product development is aimed to create distributed collaborative corporations and to facilitate the management of design conflicts. This paper provides a methodology for analyzing collaborative design process as well as the tools and the framework to support collaborative product development. The methodology can identify the interdependences among design tasks and teams. The tools and framework are implemented to facilitate the management of product development process.
Supply chain performance management is the essential part of various business activities in supply chain management area, and integrating it with general business management improves the supply chain performance. Although supply chain performance management is important and expected of market growth, there are few researches on this area and lack of practical applications. To resolve these problems, this paper presents a new performance management methodology for a supply chain integrating SCOR (Supply Chain Operational Reference) model and Balanced Scorecard (BSC). And we develop a framework of the Supply Chain Performance Management System (SCPMS) based on this methodology, and implement a prototype system.
The explosive growth of e-marketplace transactions requires an appropriate trust measuring framework to protect involving transacting entities such as buyers and sellers. As a strategic competitive edge, e-marketplace service providers have been adopting various system features that make sure no one transacting entity takes a major risk in online transactions involved. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method using fuzzy theory for an e-marketplace is proposed. The proposed methodology incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of risk involved in a specific e-marketplace transaction concerned. The proposed framework can be utilized to optimize the transaction costs by recommending a differentiated transaction process according to the risk level involved in each online transaction.
A competitive automated manufacturing system integrates the various control processes and data used in service of products. design, manufacturing, and, sale. CIM is a way to achieve such integration through computers and computational techniques in manufacturing, planning, and design. Developing effective CIM architectures is hampered by integration problems. The key to resolving these problems lies in a better understanding of manufacturing function and how it is related to other manufacturing functions. Integration of CIM environment requires coordinated solutions to data management problems for individual application system as well as for exchange of data between these applications. This requires a common framework for data management throughout the CIM environment. This paper discusses the design paradigm as a framework for this purpose. Designing an organizational structure to meet those goals invloves 1) analyzing the functions through functional decomposition, 2) developing a data model to coordinate functions. As a result, we propose an object-oriented design methodology for manufacturing information system.

We present an innovative method of multi physics application involving energetic materials. Energetic materials are related to reacting flows in extreme environments such as fires and explosions. They typically involve high pressure, high temperature, strong shock waves and high strain rate deformation of metals. We use an Eulerian methodology to address these problems. Our approach is naturally free from large deformation of materials that make it suitable for high strain rate multi-material interacting problems. Furthermore we eliminate the possible interface smearing by using the level sets. We heave devised a new level set based tracking framework that can elegantly handle large gradients typically found in reacting gases and metals. We show several work-in-progress application of our integrated framework.
On health information network architecture, traffic along the path of traffic and security, blocking malicious code penetration is performed. The medical information system network security infrastructure study, which was whether to be designed based on the structure and methodology is designed to develop the security features. Health informati on system's functionality and capabilities framework for infrastructure is the backbone and structure. The design fea tures a framework for the overall network structure formation of the skeleton and forms the basic structure of the security methodology. Infrastructure capabilities to build the framework and the application functionality is being implemented. Differentiated in accordance with security zones to perform security functions and security mechanisms that operate through this study is to present. u-Healthcare future advent of cloud computing and a new health information environment, the medical information on the preparation of this study is expected to be utilized for security.

The construction industry from the research about materials calculate automation became accomplished plentifully. Material price calculate with application in the CAD plan is more quicker and accurate than with existing handy work. It gives a many effect in development of the research and estimation program against material calculate production automation with application of the CAD. But material calculate production uses an estimate program from generally a framework construction and the material calculate production work becomes accomplished. A thesis of the material calculate production methodology about a part of materials boundary condition from material calculate production work of framework construction is the actual condition which is insufficient. From the dissertation which it sees standardize the concrete, a concrete form a each part of materials calculate method from framework construction material calculate production. It standardize a part of materials agree with a condition of material calculate methodology which from a each part of materials boundary condition.
