프로엔지니어(Pro/E) 기반 금형설계 지원 소프트웨어 툴 개발 (Development of A Software Tool for Supporting Metal Mold Design Based on The Pro/E CAD System)

  • 본 논문은 3D 캐드모델을 기반으로 작업자의 수작업 및 설계오류를 최소화하는 금형설계 지원 툴 개발에 초점을 맞춘다. 금형설계 지원범위는 자동차 산업의 프레스 금형설계 공정에서 필수 요소인 선직 곡면 생성 및 옵셋, 패딩력 자동산출, 수정사항을 반영하는 재료표 자동출력, 홀 가공데이터 자동 산출, 원소재 크기 출력 및 검증 등 이다. 개발한 시스템을 주요 범용 3D 모델러 중 하나인 프로엔지니어의 확장 메뉴형태로 탑재하기 위하여 프로엔지니어 API와 Visual C++를 사용하여 개발하였다.

FPGA를 이용한 네모파 전압전류법의 계측시간 분석 (Determination of measuring time for decision of heavy metal ion concentration in Square Wave Voltammetry with FPGA)

  • In this research, to analyze the concentration of heavy metal ions in water, we tried to find the measuring time at which the faradaic electric currents flowing by the pure oxidation-reduction reaction from the pushing up mercury electrode of the stripping scan square wave voltammetry(SV+SWV) methods system becomes larger than the capacitance electric current. In order to do this, a method for analyzing signals using FPGA has been designed and we conducted 120 experiments using it. As a result, when the frequency of the square wave is 40Hz, The valid potential-current signal was measured from 96.6667% to 96.7155% of the end of the pulse of the forward and reverse, and the optimal signal was measured at 96.6667%. In addition, the experiment was carried out 40 times by changing the pulse height of the square wave from 10Mv to 40Mv. As a result, at a size smaller than 40Mv, there is little change in the magnitude of the potential-current, and an invalid signal was generated when it is out of this size.

미세금속입자의 루멘충전 특성평가 (Evaluation of Lumen-loaded Fiber with Micro Metal Particles)

  • In this study, the lumen loading technology for preparing magnetic papers were evaluated. The rice husk fiber, softwood kraft pulp, hardwood kraft pulp were applied and the morphological properties of pits on the those fibers were investigated with SEM. The softwood kraft pulp had the bigger size of pits, $3{\sim}5{\mu}m$ in diameter, which resulted in higher loading amount. The comparison of two methods for lumen loading such as the low concentration method with the disintegrator and the high concentration method with the Hobart mixer showed the Hobart mixer could resulted in the higher efficiency. The conditions of lumen loading process such loading time, addition amount of metal particles and addition of PEI were also evaluated. The magnetic hysteresis loop of handsheet samples made of lumen loaded fiber with $Fe_3O_4$ and $Fe_2O_3$ were examined. The differences in magnetic properties could be found according to the ferrite types.

티타늄 합금 폐기물의 연소 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study on the combustion characteristics of titanium alloy)

  • Most titanium alloy waste with cutting oil was discarded without recycling process so that it can be caused by metal and oil fires. However, there is no fire management system and studies on the titanium or titanium alloy waste in spite of high fire risk. The purpose of this experimental study is to identify the fire risk of the titanium alloy waste with cutting oil. We collected the 120g waste which was made in the biomedical titanium alloy cutting process. The waste was burned and conducted thermal image analysis with infrared camera. The experimental results which illustrated the process, characteristics, and trends of fire are presented. Firstly, the cutting oil was burned and partially the titanium alloy waste was burned. The maximum temperature of the fire was more than $650^{\circ}C$ in some specific spots. These results means when a lot of titanium alloy waste with cutting oil was ignited, this fire could connect the titanium fire. In other words, the fire has a flammable liquid fire and combustible metal fire at the same time. The experimental study could be used fire prevention, response, and investigation of the titanium alloy waste.

동력전달용 기계부품의 물성 확보를 위한 인라인 인산염 피막처리 공정기술개발 (Research on the Development of Inline Phosphate Coating Process Technology to Secure the Properties of Parts for Power Transmission Machinery)

  • The steel wire or steel bar processing process applied to the manufacture of various bolts and power transmission shafts was improved by applying in-line phosphate film treatment technology. By applying a polymer lubricant for a non-reactive metal forming process and a non-reactive non-phosphorus lubricating coating agent, the film formation for each process time was comparatively analyzed and reviewed. Compared to the nine processes applied previously, the in-line phosphate film treatment technology applied with only two processes has been effectively improved in terms of reduction of treatment time, reduction of facility installation area, prevention of water pollution due to wastewater, and non-use of ozone-depleting substances. In addition, it was found that it can have an important effect on productivity improvement and price competitiveness from the simplification of quality control and process control as well as improvement of the working environment.

수소저장합금을 이용한 열수송시스템 제어기술 연구 (Study on the control technique for the heat transportation system using metal hydride)

  • 현재 증기나 온수에 의한 열수송은 배관을 통하여 열손실 및 마찰손실 등이 발생하므로 수송거리는 3 내지 5km가 한계이다. 그러나 대부분의 공단이 도시지역에서 10km 이상 떨어져 있으므로 이들 지역에서 발생되는 폐열을 적절히 활용하기 위해서는 새로운 열수송 시스템이 개발되어야 한다. 수소저장합금은 수소를 흡수 또는 방출하면서 발열반응과 흡열반응을 일으키는 특성을 가지고 있으므로 산업공단지역의 폐열로부터 수소저장합금의 수소를 방출시키고, 이 수소를 인근 도시지역에 파이프라인으로 수송한 후 필요시 또 다른 수소저장합금과 반응시켜 열을 얻을 수 있다. 이 시스템에서는 난방의 목적 외에도 수소의 흡수 방출온도가 낮은 합금을 이용하여 냉열을 얻을 수도 있다. 따라서 수소저장합금은 폐열의 저장이나 열수송의 수단으로 활용할 수 있다. $MmNi_{4.5}Al_{0.5}Zr_{0.003}$, $LaNi_5$, $Zr_{0.9}Ti_{0.1}Cr_{0.6}Fe_{1.4}$, $MmNi_{4.7}Al_{0.1}Fe_{0.1}V_{0.1}$ 합금들이 열수송에 적합한 합금으로 선정되어 그 특성을 검토하였으며, 열수송시스템의 설계 및 제어기술에 대하여 검토하였다.

  • 금속세정은 제품의 품질향상은 물론 후속공정에도 지대한 영향을 미친다. 그러나 이러한 세정공정은 환경적으로 많은 유해성을 내포하고 있기 때문에 개선해야될 여러 문제점들을 가지고 있고 게다가 전지구적으로 세정제로 인한 규제가 강화되고 있으므로 기존의 염소계세정제를 대체할 수 있는 대체세정제의 개발과 이와 연관된 세정공정의 개발이 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 최적의 대체세정제를 선정하기 위하여 고려해야되는 인자들을 분류하였고 세정공정에 적용된 개선사례들을 통하여 결과를 분석하고 개선점을 모색함으로써 세정공정에서의 청정기술적 접근방법을 제시하였다.

Electrodialysis of metal plating wastewater with neutralization pretreatment: Separation efficiency and organic removal

  • Electrodialysis has been applied for treatment of industrial wastewater including metal electroplating. The wastewater from metal plating industries contains high concentrations of inorganics such as copper, nickel, and sodium. The ions in the feed were separated due to the electrical forces in the electrodialysis. The concentrate compartment is exposed to the elevated concentrations of the ions and yielded inorganic precipitations on the cation exchange membranes. The presence of organic matter in the metal plating wastewater affects complex interfacial reactions, which determines characteristics of inorganic scale fouling. The wastewater from a metal plating industry in practice was collected and the inorganic and organic compositions of the wastewater were analyzed. The performance of electrodialysis of the raw wastewater was evaluated and the effects of adjusting pH of the raw water were also measured. The integrated processes with neutralization and electrodialysis showed great removal of heavy metals sufficient to discharge to aquatic ecosystem. The organic matter in the raw water was also reduced by the neutralization, which might enhance removal performance and alleviate organic fouling in the integrated system.

외경 36mm 강관의 관대관 마찰용접 특성과 공정 변수 최적화 (Mechanical Property and Process Variables Optimization of Tube-to-Tube Friction Welding for Steel Pipe with 36 mm External Diameter)

  • Friction welding is a very useful joining process to weld metals which have axially symmetric cross section. In this paper, for the friction welding with tube-to-tube shape, the feasibility of industry application was determined using analyzing mechanical properties of weld and optimized welding variables was suggested. In order to accomplish this object, rotating speed, friction heating pressure, and friction heating time were selected as the major process variables and the experiment was performed in three levels of each parameter. Weld characteristic was investigated in terms of weld shape and metal loss, and 7mm of metal loss was regarded as the optimal metal loss. By tensile test, tensile strength and yielding strength was measured and fracture was occurred at base metal. In order to optimize the welding condition, fitness function was defined with respect to metal loss and yielding strength and the fitness values for each welding condition could be calculated in experimental range. Consequently, we set the optimal welding condition as the point which had maximum value of fitness function. As the result of this paper the optimal welding variables could be suggested as rotating speed was 1300 rpm, friction heating pressure was 15 MPa, and friction heating time was 10 sec.

  • Roll forming process is a sheet metal forming process where the forming occurs with rolls in several steps, often from an undeformed sheet to a product ready to use. And each pair of forming rolls installed in a forming machine operates a particular role in making up the required final cross-section. This process used to many industry manufactures and recently apply to automotive industry. This study, FEM simulation applied bumper reinforcement using SHAPE-RF software and analyzed about total effective strain, longitudinal strain, thickness according to the roll-pass.
