한·중 FTA에 따른 중국산 금속 품목의 한국시장 경쟁력 분석 (An Analyzing the Competitiveness of Chinese Metal Items in the Korean Market under Korea-China FTA)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis Korean market competitiveness of Chinese metal items. Methods of analysis were Market Share Index, Market Comparative Advantage. The data was collected through Korean Materials & Components Technology Network and period of analysis were 2009-2016. Chinese main 6 metal items which recorded high-ranked export sum and exported to Korea in 2009-2016. From this study, following results were found. i) In searching trade balance aspects through MSI, highly ranked Chinese metal items in Korea market were steel rolling, pressing&elongation products, steel tubes, steel casting industry. ii) In searching market advantage aspects through MCA, Chinese metal items have strong competitiveness in Korea market. especially, steel rolling, pressing & elongation products, steel tubes, steel casting industry had strong competitiveness in Korea Market. In conclusion, we found that most of Chines metal items have competitiveness in Korea market. Especially, steel rolling, pressing & elongation products had very strong competitiveness in Korea market.

국내 뿌리산업의 현황과 진흥정책에 관한 연구 (A study on current status of domestic Ppuri industry and its promotion policy)

  • Recently, de-industrialization phenomenon has been intensified in global. It caused negative issues of manufacturing economy, so many countries are carrying out a policy to protect and promote their manufacture industry. Also in Korea, government is implementing a policy to promote their manufacture based technique and process. It was named "Ppuri industry". We studied how important Ppuri industry is in Korean manufacture economy and the relation of between the metal industry and Ppuri industry. Finally, we analyze the problem of korean promotion policy of Ppuri industry and suggest an alternative policy.

해외 패키징 산업현황과 방향 (Current Status and Trends of Overseas Packaging Industries)

  • This paper introduces the current status of total overseas packaging industries. The total market of the world packaging industry reached over 500 billion dollars in 2002. The top nations for the packaging industry were U.S. at about 27 percent, the countries of Western Europe at about 27%, Japan at about 14%. In terms of packaging materials, the overall market rate for paper, plastics, and metal parts in world packaging industry was 84%. Also, the market rate of glass, packaging machine, and others was only 5-6%. Among EU nations, Germany showed largest packaging consumption of 23 percent in 2000, and consumed about 17,125,814 ton of packaging materials yearly. For paper and paperboard cartons, the percentage used for the packaging consumption was about 39.4%. The consumption rate of plastic and glass packaging was approximately 14.6% and 23.7% respectively. For metal packaging the consumption rate was about 5.9%. In Japan, the production rate of packaging materials was decreased slowly at paper, metal, glass, and wood areas, but plastic packaging showed a constant rate of growth. In China, total production of packaging industry amounted to about 33.7 billion in 2003. The paper packaging in china was a remarkable production rate of 32%. The production rate of plastic and printing packaging was 28% and 20% respectively. The rate of packaging industry for printing in China was much higher than that in other countries.

0.002% 보론첨가 저탄소강의 미세조직 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 열처리의 영향 (Effects of Heat Treatment on the Micro-structures and the Mechanical Properties of 0.002% Boron-added Low Carbon Steel)

  • The effect of heat treatment on the micro-structures and the mechanical properties of 0.002% boron added low carbon steel was investigated. The tensile strength reached the peak at about $880-890^{\circ}C$ with the rising quenching temperature and then the hardness decreased sharply, but the tensile strength hardly decreased. The tensile and yield strength decreased and the total elongation increased with a rising tempering temperature, but the tensile and yield strength sharply fell and the total elongation prominently increased from above a $400-450^{\circ}C$ tempering temperature. Tempered martensite embrittlement (TME) was observed at tempering condition of $350-400^{\circ}C$. In the condition of quenching at $890^{\circ}C$ and tempering at $350^{\circ}C$, the boron precipitates were observed as Fe-C-B and BN together. The hardness decreased in proportion to the tempering temperature untill $350^{\circ}C$ and dropped sharply above $400^{\circ}C$ regardless of the quenching temperature.

LED와 메탈핼라이드 집어등을 겸용한 오징어채낚기 어선의 조업 성능 (Operating performance of squid jigging vessel using the LED and metal halide fishing lamp combination)

  • Fishing efficiency of the squid jigging vessel using the LED and metal halide fishing lamp combination was analyzed to reduce the cost for fishing operation utilizing the fishing light system for high degree of efficiency in the squid jigging fishery (one of the representative coastal and offshore fisheries in Korea). This study aims to improve the nature of existing LED lamps and to develop fan-shaped LED lights having 180W of power and ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ angle of light intensity distribution. The marine experiment for making a comparison of their fishing efficiency was tested by a 9.77 tons fishing vessel from Oct. through Dec. 2012. As a result, experimental fishing vessel showed slightly higher fishing efficiency than the average of metal halide lamp-equipped vessel and 20% energy savings. This means that the combination of LED and metal halide lamps would provide an efficient way to lower energy consumption while maintaining fishing efficiency.

  • The safety of metal cask and concrete cask storage technology has been verified by CRIEPI through several research programs on demonstrative testing for the interim storage of spent fuel. The results have been reflected in the safety requirements for dry casks issued by NISA/METI (Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) of the Japanese government. On top of that, spent fuel integrity has been studied by the Japan Nuclear Energy Safety Organization (JNES). This paper reviews these research programs. Future issues include the long-term integrity of cask components and high burn-up spent fuel.

산처리가 펄프의 금속 이온 제거 및 백색도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Acid Treatment on the Removal of Metal Ions and the Brightness of Pulp)

  • This paper presents the effect of acid treatment on the removal of metals and the brightness of pulp. The bleached kraft pulps, metal-absorbed pulps and recycled pulps((ONP, OCC, MOW, and SC) were treated with the acidic solutions. Among metals in the bleached kraft pulps, Cu, Ca and Mg were removed easily by the acid washing, whereas Fe, Al and Si were not removed. The acid washing also removed distinctly metals from the metal-absorbed pulps. The metals absorbed in pulps reduced the brightness (%, ISO). Especially, Fe was the most detrimental metal. However, the brightness which was decreased by metals was restored to the status quo by the acid washing. The level of metals in recycled pulps was gradually reduced after the first flotation and acid treatment. Hence, the degree of metal removal by the acid washing was mainly dependent upon the kinds of waste pulps and metal ions.

  • In the present industry, there is not only the cutting of iron metal, but also the cutting of alloy aluminum, brass and plastic to wood(Paulownia). A variety of material is used and these industry is made need of the cutting material but lots of experiments processing is not enough at the moment. At this point, our team processed the basic experiment about influencing of Feedrate and Backrake angle of bite concerned to manufacture in the turning of non-iron metal. Generally speaking, we recognized that there was occurrence of increase of Surface Roughness with increasing of cutting angle in the non-iron metal, but in the cutting of wood we knew, there was special change with change of cutting angle

A Study on Bi-metal 3D printing Technology Development based on Laser Technology

  • Additive manufacturing(AM) can create complex shapes directly in 3D CAD models with internal geometry compared to conventional subtraction manufacturing. AM technology has the advantage of adopting various materials as well as the reduction of material. However, the high cost of AM is still a significant barrier preventing the wider adoption of AM in industries. This paper analyzes the technical application cases for solving these entry barriers and proposes a bi-metal 3D printing technology as an anticipated application to overcome the difficulty. The paper investigates the complications for current 3D metal printing technology to conduct bi-metal 3D printing and addresses ongoing solution research based on laser technology.

금속산업폐수의 재이용을 위한 물리화학적 전처리공정의 유기물 및 무기물제거 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Organics and Inorganics Removal of Physicochemical Pretreatment Processes for Reuse of Metal Industry Wastewater)

  • 역삼투기반 금속산업폐수 물재이용시스템의 전처리공정을 선정하기 위해 연수화, 응집침전, 활성탄, 이온교환 및 중화 침전공정에 대한 무기물 및 유기물 제거특성을 조사하였다. 유기물제거를 위해 DOC중 친수성 및 소수성 유기물을 분류하였으며, 이를 이용하여 조합공정을 최적화하였다. 다양한 전처리공정 중에서 연수화는 금속산업 방류수에 존재하는 칼슘경도(1,201 mg/L as $CaCO_3$)를 93.4%제거함과 동시에 소수성유기물을 모두 제거하는 것으로 나타났다. 연수화 후에 응집침전공정을 연계할 경우, 방류수에 포함된 유기물 5.1 mg DOC/L을 1.6 mg DOC/L까지 저감할 수 있었다. 또한, 금속공정 원폐수를 대상으로 가성소다를 이용한 중화침전공정을 적용하였을 때, 수중경도를 유발하지 않으면서도 철과 총용존성고형물을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
