Interpersonal trust is the mutual "faithfulness" on which all social relationship ultimately depend and applicable to the relations among people rather than to their psychological states taken individually. Recent development in the organizational sciences reflect the importance of interpersonal trust relationships for sustaining individual and organizational effectiveness, researchers have recongnized trust's influence on coordination and control at both institutional and interpersonal levels of organization. Because economic action is embeded within networks of social relationships. researchers have argued that efficiency within complex systems of coordinated action is only possible when interdependent actors work together effectively. Thus, for managers and professionals in organizations, developing and maintaining trust relationship is especially import. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the mechanism of interpersonal trust in the organization. Especially, the major concern of this study is to verify role of interpersonal trust in the member's task behaviork behavior
Purpose - Small- and medium-sized enterprises often rely on the owner's personal characteristics. This study aims to verify the impact of the awareness of such a business leader's sincerity and the sincerity of their leader-member exchange (LMX) on employee psychological ownership and organizational commitment. The findings offer clues to how small- and medium-sized company leaders should engage with employees. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 289 valid questionnaires were examined using frequency, descriptive statistics, and correlation analyses and structured equation modeling. Results - Authentic leadership and LMX were both found to have a positive impact on each trust factor, each trust factor had a positive impact on psychological ownership and organizational commitment, and psychological ownership had a positive impact on organizational commitment. Conclusion - These results suggest that small- and medium-size company leaders should use self-awareness and self-regulation to encourage the recognition of their sincerity, and strive to achieve a positive relationship with employees. It also suggests that leaders should improve trust between employees and establish various strategies to enable employee psychological ownership.
In this study, we examined the impact of empowering leadership on leader-member exchange(LMX), leader trust, and in-role behavior. The role of LMX and leader trust in the relationship between empowering leadership and in-role behavior was verified. We surveyed 289 small and medium enterprises in Yangsan, Ulsan and Gyeongju city. SPSS 18.0 was used for overall descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. AMOS 18.0 was used to conduct confirmatory factor analysis to confirm the validity of the research variables and to conduct a covariance structure analysis to verify the research hypothesis. The result of this study were as follows. First, empowering leadership has a significant effect on LMX, leader trust. Second, empowering leadership did not have a significant effect on in-role behavior. Third, LMX has a significant effect on leader trust and in-role behavior. Fourth, leader trust has a significant influence onin-role behavior. Finally, LMX and leader trust play a mediating role in the relationship between empowering leadership and in-role behavior. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the LMX and leader trust should be strengthened through the leader's empowering leadership in order to enhance the employee's in-role behavior.
Recently R&D projects take a collaborative works which involve industries, research institutions, and academic fields together. Collaborative R&D enjoys the economy of scales and economic efficiencies in that costs and risks share each others and compensate their competences. But there are some problems. The imbalance of power, the asymmetry of information, loss of trust, and opportunism among the co-researchers make the collaborative R&D difficult to succeed and disappointed outcomes. There are many variables on explaining the interorganizational relationships. Among them, I choose some relevant variables, construct research model and some hypotheses. Independent variables are fairness and quality, and dependent variables is loyalty. And trust are treated as the intervening variable between the independent variables and dependent variable. To test the research model and some hypothesis empirically, I collected the data using the questionnaire, The questionnaire was distributed to the persons that do collaborative R&D in Daeduck Innopolis. Sample size was 448, it was enough to analyze statistically. Data were analysed using the SPSS and AMOS. Procedural fairness and distributive fairness affect the organizational trust positively, and procedural fairness and distributive fairness affect member trust positively. Procedural quality and outcome quality affect the organizational quality positively. Procedural quality affects the member trust positively, but outcome quality does not affect member trust. Procedural fairness and distributive fairness does not affect the loyalty positively. Procedural quality does not affects loyalty, but outcome quality affects the loyalty positively. The organizational trust affects loyalty positively, and member quality affect loyalty positively.

We study to confirm the relationship between leadership trust and job satisfaction on the leadership style of managers recognized by ICT organization members. To this end, the research hypothesis established by using SPSS23.0 for the survey results of 230 ICT organization members was analyzed as follows. First, the hypothesis 1 person leadership type (individual consideration: H1-1, intellectual stimulation: H1-2, charisma: H1-3, conditional compensation: H1-4, exceptional reward: H1-5) had a significant effect on leader trust. The results were obtained. Second, the hypothesis 2 manager's leadership type (individual consideration: H21-1, intellectual stimulation: H2-2, charisma: H2-3, conditional compensation: 2-4, expected compensation: H2-5) is based on job satisfaction. As a result of verifying the impact relationship, all showed significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, it acted as a positive factor in the job satisfaction of the leader of the hypothesis 3-member organizational member. It was confirmed that the job satisfaction of organizational members started based on the trust of actual leaders. Fourth, the role of leadership trust was partially confirmed between leadership type and job satisfaction. Through this study, in order to improve job satisfaction of ICT organizational members, the importance of exerting competency on the leadership type of managers and trusting the leaders on the characteristics consistent with ICT organizational characteristics was emphasized.
This study examines factors that influence organizational identification of employees who work for foreign multinational corporations in Korea. First, we test whether employee perceptions on leader-member exchange, trust in CEO, and career growth opportunity can influence their organizational identification. second, we also investigate moderation effects of employee perception on subsidiary level factors such as co-operation between the subsidiary and its HQ, firm reputation of the subsidiary, and opportunity to work overseas. 391 survey results from 350 subsidiaries of multinational corporations in Korea has been collected for this study. We found that leader-member exchange, trust in CEO and career growth opportunity had a positive effect on organizational identification of employees who work for foreign subsidiaries of multinational corporations in Korea. We also found partial support for the moderation effects of HQ-subsidiary interrelationship and opportunity to work overseas in the relationship between predictors and organizational identification. With this in mind, I hope this help to reconsider competitiveness of global companies in Korea by increasing organizational identification.

A great number of institutions around the world have been building digital repositories to communicate scholarly information. Meanwhile, digital repositories have been struggling with how to preserve increased volume of digital contents for the long term and how to build a sustainable information environment. The HathiTrust partnership was established to meet the need of a sustainable collaborative model of digital repositories in research libraries, mainly in North America, and has been expanded globally by signing with other libraries around the world. This paper is dealt with the establishment, operation and policy, construction status, and user service of the HathiTrust. The results presented in this paper include the benefits and potential opportunities of the HathiTrust as a participating member. Partnership in HathiTrust would allow each member institution to provide more cost-effective operations, shared management and long-term preservation of digital content, ease of copyright management, and increased accessibility. In the future it is expected to provide a shared storage of printed materials and to facilitate a big data research center.
Objectives: This study aimed to identify the effects of team-member exchange (TMX) on dental hygienists' commitment. Methods: A self-administrated questionnaire was conducted from August 22 to September, 2016 with 191 dental hygienists in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. Teacher-member relationships and community were evaluated with the TMX scale and community scale, respectively. A self-administered five-point scale. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: Overall TMX and commitment levels of subjects were $3.78{\pm}0.43$ and $3.20{\pm}0.41$, respectively. The TMX subcategories that influenced commitment and change (a subcategory of commitment) were community consciousness, and trust and respect. The TMX subcategory that influenced organization (a subcategory of commitment) was community consciousness. Conclusions: Dental hygienists' commitment was closely related to community consciousness, and trust and respect.
Trust is formed from the day-to-day and persistent interaction relationship. The trust demands more and more at the age of uncertainty. Human beings are using media interaction. The area of communication with media is extended to virtual space. The purpose of this study is to qualitatively explain trust building process in virtual team by media using. In the pursuit of this purpose, we executed in-depth interview with the person who have experience communicating by media with a man of a complete stranger. They experienced the trust building process. Interview data were analyzed by a Structured Coding Techniques. The derived seven categories were reconstructed in consideration of the cause-and-effect relationship and the flow of events. We have discovered a new trust model that was the result from communication by a media using. The model presented is very useful to Individuals who need a new trust building relationship with stranger or virtual team member.
Mobile Ad Hoc Network is easy to be attacked because nodes are distributed not network based infrastructure. Intrusion detection system perceives the trust values of neighboring nodes and receives inspection on local security of nodes and observation ability. This study applied clustering mechanism to reduce overhead in intrusion detection. And, in order to measure the trust values, it associates the trust information cluster head received from member nodes with its own value and evaluates the trust of neighboring nodes. Secure data transmission is received by proposed concept because the trust of nodes on network is achieved accurately.
