국제화가 가속화됨에 따라 국가 단위가 아닌 도시 단위의 경쟁력 제고의 필요성이 대두되면서 도시재생에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 도시재생의 위한 공간의 효율성 극대화와 고부가 가치를 갖는 공간의 창출을 위해서는 입체 복합 공간구조 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이론과 시공 사례를 바탕으로 하여 입체 복합 공간구조에 대한 개념을 정립하고 이를 위한 구조시스템에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 입체 복합 공간을 구성하기 위해서는 규모 및 용도에 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있는 Mega structure 시스템이 타당할 것으로 판단되었고, 이에 따라 Mega structure 모델의 구조해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 해석을 위해 기본 Mega structure 모델을 제안하였으며, 제안된 모델의 Mega column과 Mega beam의 형태 및 위치를 변화시켜가며 구조해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에 따르면 Mega structure 시스템이 실제 입체 복합 공간을 실현시킬 수 있는 충분한 성능을 발휘한다고 판단되었다.

Since MegaStudy started e-learning business for Korean high school students, the Korean e-learning industry began to expand and steadily gain attention. This paper focused on the analysis of the development of the Korean e-learning business for teens and the growth of MegaStudy. The three institutional mechanisms were used to examine the factors that aided the development of the business. The regulatory mechanism was the government policy to prevent the expansion of the offline private education sector, which greatly aided the growth of the e-learning business. The mimetic mechanism was the notion to mimic the characteristics of the Korean e-business initiatives. The normative mechanism involved the widespread social norm suggesting that every student should be given an equal opportunity of private education. This paper also examined the case of MegaStudy as a successful case of the e-learning companies. It analyzed the business model of MegaStudy, which is based on its advantage as the front-runner and its high-quality contents and services.

The purpose of this study is to explain the impact of hosting mega event using the system dynamics and to establish the model for analysis of the impact of hosting mega event. The results are as follows. First, the growth of inbound tourists have influenced long term effect. Second, the export has increased for a limited period only after the hosting mega event, but the increase in export returned to the previous state in terms of economic impact of mega event. Third, nation brand has been improved for a limited period only such as the economical impact in terms of socio-cultural impact of mega event. Last, citizenship consciousness has been improved after hosting mega event. Further researches have to be carried out to modify and reinforce the model.

현대 사회에서 메가 스포츠이벤트는 한 지역이나 국가의 스포츠 역사를 이해하는데 중요한 키워드로서 자리매김하고 있다. 이러한 역사적 의미를 지닌 메가 스포츠이벤트를 효과적으로 기록화 하여 후대에 전달하는 일은 매우 중요한 일이다. 그러나 국내에서 1986년서울아시안게임을 시작으로 1988년서울올림픽대회 그리고 2002FIFA월드컵대회 등과 같은 메가 스포츠이벤트가 다수 개최되었음에도 불구하고 한국의 체육 스포츠 현장에서는 기록의 중요성에 대한 인식 부재로 이를 체계적으로 기록화 하여 후대에 전달하려는 방법론에 대한 논의는 미진한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 국내에서 개최할 예정인 메가 스포츠이벤트를 효과적으로 기록화 할 수 있는 방법론을 탐색하기 위하여 메가 스포츠이벤트의 진행 단계별로 기록화 사례를 분석하여 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 수행하기 위해 문헌고찰을 통해 메가 스포츠이벤트의 진행단계를 이벤트 이전단계, 운영단계 그리고 이후단계로 구분하였고, 각각의 단계별로 참고할 수 있는 기록화 사례를 선정하였다. 이후 문헌고찰을 통해서 각 단계별로 선정된 사업의 개요를 파악하였고, 이를 토대로 현지 방문조사를 실시하여 구체적인 사업내용을 분석하였다. 각 단계별로 선정된 사례는 다음과 같다. 이벤트 이전단계는 국민의 기록(The People's Record)사업, 운영단계는 올림픽대회 지식관리(Olympic Game Knowledge Management)사업 그리고 이후단계는 올림픽 구술사(Olympic Oral History)사업이다. 이들을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국민의 기록 사례는 다양한 계층의 경험을 포착하여 기록화 하는데 유용한 방법으로 이벤트 이전단계에서 활용이 가능하다. 올림픽대회 지식관리 사례는 대회운영을 위한 조직위원회의 업무 활동과 지식을 기록화하는데 효과적인 방법으로 이벤트 운영단계에서 이용이 가능하다. 셋째, 올림픽 구술사 사례는 이벤트의 전 단계에서 발생한 결락기록을 보완할 수 있는 방법으로 이벤트 이후단계에서 적용이 가능하다. 이상의 연구결과는 국내에서 개최가 예정된 메가 스포츠이벤트의 기록화에 일정한 역할을 할 것이며, 메가 스포츠이벤트의 기록을 관리하고 있는 기관에서 기록관리 방법론을 마련하는데 활용이 가능할 것이다.

The Korean government has operated various mega-development projects in order to help nation progress into the future. However, many problems and concerns have been raised on the mega-projects' delay and failure in South Korea. Moreover, there are many technical and executive problems; such as trial and error of development work, failure of validity test, complicated decision-making processes, and so on. With these concerns and problems to mega-development projects, finding a sustainable development from mega-projects is becoming a new issue in the field of mega-development projects. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not most mega-development projects conducted by the government exactly corresponds with sustainable development (such as environmental soundness, economic efficiency and social equity) focusing on Saemangeum project. Using causal loop analysis, this study gives some significant results to us. First, for environmental soundness, both central and local government should ensure water-purity control system for farming, industry, leisure, and others. Second, for economic efficiency, both governments not only have to secure a budget for completion of infrastructure of the Saemangeum project but also support financial assistance to Saemangeum project. Third, for social equity, three local governments (i.e., Gunsan, Gimje, and Buan) should stop debate and conflict with regard to an administrative district of Saemangeum region. Finally, most politicians should not use Saemangeum project for political means. Rather, they should recognize the project as a motive power for economic development of Jeollabukdo.

Since the mega frame structure has significant numbers of elements and nodes, it takes tremendous times and computer memories to analyze and design the structures. Therefore, the exclusive structural analysis program for mega frame system is developed to reduce the efforts and time required for the analysis and design of mega frame structure. To this end, an efficient modelling technique using the characteristics of mega frame structures and an efficient analytical model, which uses a few DOFs selected by the user using the matrix condensation method. are developed in tins study. Static and dynamic analyses are conducted using an example structure.

The purpose of this study is to analyze efforts of the mesa trends on the modern fashion design. For the study documentary research and qualitative content analysis have been carried out. Articles in magazines, seminar reports, and news related to trends were collected and analyzed to develop mega trends nowadays. As results, $2002{\sim}2006$ mega trends were extracted to Co-divergence, Emotional tech, Bi-dentity, Private+One and $2002{\sim}2006$ design trends extracted to Camouflage, Transformation, Modular system, Blur, Ease. The influences of mega trends and design trends on the modern fashion design have been proved. Those were expressed as eclectic style, deconstructionist style, reductive style and functionalist style in fashion design. The present era could be defined as cultural pluralism blended with various cultures and styles. Fashion as the essential display of contemporary culture and society has been successfully confirmed in this study.

A mega sport event as the globalization phenomenon is not only the symbol of the process of modernization but also the vehicle to upgrade global power and hold a dominant position in the world competition under the post-industrial era. This study notifies the role of mega sport events as a strategy for urban innovation in the context of global and local. Comparing the different roles of mega sport events between developing countries and developed countries, we intend to answer two questions: 1) what explains the nature and role of mega sport event, and 2) what are the major evidences of the transition in the globalization era. The conceptual framework, based on the temporal and spatial perspective, provides the mechanism through which the strategy for urban innovation has been changed from 'motivation for modernization' to 'rethinking of localization.' Focusing on the case of Seoul, we also compare major issues between two phases: role of agent, urban form, and urban development. Finally, this study sheds light on the concept of 'glocalization' which means the convergence of globalization and localization; and suggests the roles of (local) agent for hosting mega sport events.

The 'one-day-shopping' concept that we experience today in a modern mega mall changed the propensity to consume compared to the past. The idea of a mega mall originated in the U.S. and the first suburban shopping malls as we know them today were built in the 1950s. The convenience of these malls had a great impact not only on consumers but also on the retail industry in general and the new mega mall idea has since spread around the world, with the largest ones located in China and Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Korea had the fastest-growing economy during the last three decades and with that boom the compositional structure of domestic retail facilities became extremely diverse. Today, there are 36 new mega mall development plans to be completed before 2016, which represent a rapid and dynamic change in consumerism lifestyle in Korea. In this regard, this study will re-evaluate the first mega mall in Korea, the COEX Mall, and identify initial errors regarding its circulation plan and provide an ideal design strategy for future commercial mega malls based on literature review and comparison analysis.

Recently, mega-float offshore structure is studied as one of the effective utilization of the ocean space. And mega-float structure are now being considered for various applications such as floating airports, offshore cities and so on. This mega-float structure is relatively flexible compared with real floating structures like large ships. when we estimate dynamic responses of these structures in waves, the elastic deformation is important, because vertical dimension is small compared with horizontal. The analysis of the dynamic response as it receives regular wave is studied. The finite element method is used in the analysis of structural section of this model. And the analysis is carried out using the boundary element method in the fluid division. In order to know the characteristics of the dynamic response of the mega-float structures, effects of wavelength, water depth, and wave direction on dynamic response of the floating structure are studied by use of numerical calculation.
