It has been known generally that investment in the extending ability to use the IT applications have further enhanced the productivity of effects of IT on firms by reducing costs, increasing returns, and increasing the speed of operations, etc. Notwithstanding this fact, it was very complex and difficult to evaluate concretely the effect of informatization of firm. SMEs(Small- & Medium-sized Enterprises) in particular. In this study, I point out the weakness of SMEs and analyze the effects of informatization through the count data model. For this analysis, I separate the effects into two part, such as organizational effect and personal effect. It comes to conclusion that organizational effect is larger than personal effect and the ability to practical use of IT systems is most efficient item related with informatization level. Since it will be important to cencentrate on raising this ability for heightening the competitiveness of SMEs.

The purpose of this study ws6 to find out women's informationized conditions and their life changes. The subjects of this research were 482 women living in large and small-medium sized cities. The data analysis used average, pearson's correlation, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression by SAS/PC. The major findings were as follows: 1. Women's level of informationized conditions is under median in computer using and information technology. The effect of informatization is over median about improving the ability, recognizing from family and neighbor, achieving the occupation. The change of individual and family is under median except educational stimulus, life vitality and educational effect on the family. 2. The effect of informatization was influenced by ability of using computer, necessity and purpose of informatization. The change of individual was influenced by ability of using computer, purpose and effect of informatization and also the change of family was influenced by handicapped reason in information education and the effect of informatization.

This study introduces the adoption of the logistics industry by the Korean government as a threshold of overcoming economic difficulties. The core contents of the National Logistics Plans (2001-2020) which contain the basic principles of the logistics policies of the Korean government and its aim to be an 'Excellent Nation of Logistics' is introduced. The economic effect of the logistics policies implemented between 2001 and 2005, (the period of the first Medium-term Logistics Plan according to the National Logistics Plans (2001-2020) set up by the Korean government at the end of 2000) is estimated through input-output analysis. The input-output analysis result is as follows: the total output effect is 8,856 billion won of which indirect output effect is 3,982.9 billion won; indirect output effect comes mainly from real estate and business services, non-metal products, metal products, electrical and electronics products, finance and insurance, wholesale and retail, petroleum and coal; the total amount of value-added effect is 3,376 billion won and total import effect is 726 billion won. Employment effect including self-employed and unpaid family supporters with paid laborers is 79,203.7 people of which paid laborers comprise 67,547.7 people.

Transient heat transfer characteristics of cooling of a spherical body were investigated in the radiatively active spherical medium. Initially the spherical body and the medium were maintained at their constant temperatures. Then heat transfer begins from spherical body t medium. The heat transfer mode inside the spherical body is just conduction. But heat is transferred by both conduction and radiation inside the medium. All thermodynamic properties were held constant in time. Spherical symmetry is assumed. DOM was adopted to solve RTE. The effect of characteries-tic optical thickness, conduction to radiation parameters, and solid surface emissivity has been studied.

Purpose: Various studies on the soil-based green roof systems have been conducted, and a lot of green roof systems were developed. A growing medium board is one of them which was developed for better application and maintenance, however the effect and performance of this material need to be verified. On this background, the purpose of this study is to prove cooling load reduction of green roof by monitoring experiment on the full-scale mock-ups. Method: To do this, Solid growing medium boards were installed on the mock-ups, and indoor temperature and humidity were monitored and analyzed. Result: As a results, the green roof with solid growing medium board were verified effective for controlling indoor temperature in summer.

Effects of dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng on primary cultured chicken embryonic brain cells were studied by microscopic observation and determination of the activity of pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDHC). Brain cells were prepared from the brain of 10-day-old chicken embryo and cultured with either a standard medium consisted of 85% Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), 10% horse serum and 5% chicken embryonic extracts or a deficient medium consisted of 90% DMEM and 10% horse serum. It was observed that dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng seemed to show the tendency to stimulate the neurite outgrowth of brain cells which were cultured with a deficient medium under microscopic observation. The activity of PDHC in brain cells cultured with a deficient medium was increased by dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng.

This study investigated the management environment of medium and small business by examining the role of medium and small business in national economics, the change in management condition, and the problems in quality and technique. Also we analyzed problems in the past quality control activity of our medium and small business, and examined the driving direction and introduction method of QM. And to understand the effect of manager's concern in quality management to observe the quality system before and after introduction of QM. A target for this investigation is the medium and small business which has introduced QM through ISO 9000.

In this study, I analysed the influence of the Korean Officially Supported Export Credit System upon Improvement upon Korean Export, investigated Korean Officially Supported Export Credit System focussing on the Short-term Export Loan System & Medium and Long-term Export Loan System in Korea Eximbank and sought for the measures overcoming problems therewith. In my research I started from a basic model analyzing Short-term Export Loan & Medium and Long-term Export Loan using added several variables that have effect on export such export relative price, world income and the amount of post-shipment credit bank guarantee. As a result, amount of Short-term Export Loan & Medium and Long-term Export Loan, world income and export relative price showed expected responses and Short-term Export Loan was significant. In case of amount of Short-term Export Loan System was statistical significance.

For the more effective isolation of soil actinomycetes, we have developed HHV (Hair hydrolysate-vitamin) agar medium, containing hair as the sole source of carbon and nitrogen. The HHV agar medium was superior to other media such as colloidal chintin agar, glycerol-arginine agar and starch-casein-nitrate agar, and HV (humic acid-vitamin) agar. The maximum effect of this medium has been shown in hair dry weight 0.4 g/l medium. Of each soil sample, the greatestest number of actinomycetes was isolated from the potato annual planted soil among the tested samp- les. The genus of actinomycetes isolated from the potato annual planted soil sample was identified such 5 group as Stretomyces, Micromonospora, Microbispora, Nocardia and Saccharopolyspora.

Rice farmers can save labor and expenses by using expanded rice husk (ERH) as a seedling medium since ERH is lighter and cheaper than other commercial seedling media (CSM). This study was carried out to develop a method for rice seedling cultivation using ERH as a seedling medium. It is suggested that a mixture of $60\%$ of ERH and $40\%$ of a CSM could be used as a seedling medium; the planting densities would be 240g per tray for infant seedlings and 200 g for young seedlings; and nitrogen (N) would be applied at a rate of 1g per tray for infant seedlings prior to planting and 2g per tray for young seedlings with division. Great care should be taken to use $CO(NH_2)_2$ as an N-source fertilizer. These results would lay a foundation for the rice seedling cultivation with ERH as a medium.
