  • In proposing the concept of flow which focuses on experiencing the sites visited by Korean wave tourists as induced by drama or movies, this paper investigated role of involvement variables for Korean wave tourists in influencing flow construct of film sites. The involvement of Korean wave was found to operate as a mechanism by which challenge, skills, focused attention on site might be more organized or more actively experienced. This recognizes that there is clearly a need for making the FIT sites exposed much by any mix of various media. This study showed that challenges and skills influence enjoyment as output factor of flow film site visitors are assumed to participate the roles of film characters, experiencing the places and atmosphere. The degree of visitors' reflections in the film optimizes awareness of flow experiences on the site. Therefore, it is necessary to provide more detailed experiential program on the film sites with the wide variety of flow-related contents in the film.

  • A detailed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation analysis model was developed using ANSYS CFX 16.1 and analyzed to simulate the basic design and internal flow characteristics of a 180 MW small modular reactor (SMR) with a natural circulation flow system. To analyze the natural circulation phenomena without a pump for the initial flow generation inside the reactor, the flow characteristics were evaluated for each output assuming various initial powers relative to the critical condition. The eddy phenomenon and the flow imbalance phenomenon at each output were confirmed, and a flow leveling structure under the core was proposed for an optimization of the internal natural circulation flow. In the steady-state analysis, the temperature distribution and heat transfer speed at each position considering an increase in the output power of the core were calculated, and the conceptual design of the SMR had a sufficient thermal margin (31.4 K). A transient model with the output ranging from 0% to 100% was analyzed, and the obtained values were close to the Thot and Tcold temperature difference value estimated in the conceptual design of the SMR. The K-factor was calculated from the flow analysis data of the CFX model and applied to an analysis model in RELAP5/MOD3.3, the optimal analysis system code for nuclear power plants. The CFX analysis results and RELAP analysis results were evaluated in terms of the internal flow characteristics per core output. The two codes, which model the same nuclear power plant, have different flow analysis schemes but can be used complementarily. In particular, it will be useful to carry out detailed studies of the timing of the steam generator intervention when an SMR is activated. The thermal and hydraulic characteristics of the models that applied porous media to the core & steam generators and the models that embodied the entire detail shape were compared and analyzed. Although there were differences in the ability to analyze detailed flow characteristics at some low powers, it was confirmed that there was no significant difference in the thermal hydraulic characteristics' analysis of the SMR system's conceptual design.

  • This paper is a study to check the flow of how addiction to media services has been studied from a long-term perspective, and to identify variables that can be the basis for future addiction research. Researchers noted the addiction of media services in adolescents in particular, and identified a combination of factors depending on the background of the times. Addiction variables were largely aggregated into four properties: adolescent properties, personal properties, media properties, and media-dependent properties. Addiction variables belonging to the attribute were influenced by major media and divided into four periods. During the study period, the frequency of variables was most related to personal attributes, followed by media attributes, adolescent attributes, and media-dependent attributes. Also Individual attribute variables gradually shifted from object-relationship to individual psychological factors. Variants in media attributes were influenced by the introduction and spread of new media. Variations in adolescent and media-dependent attributes have been weak in studies that observe teenagers' motivations for media use or are related to addiction, and no papers have been published since 2020. Although addiction research on media services is important in terms of industry, there has been an emphasis on social aspects, based on the results of this study, we hope to continue to study the variables of service users who can be used in terms of industry.

  • This study was designed to look at a gap between what is reported and what is real, based on 'virtuality' shown in the media coverage of the Sewol ferry disaster. The way the Korean media reported the disaster raised serious concern in describing realities as the coverage was dotted with omitted, diluted, misleading, false and biased information, dubbed as the sinking of journalism by the Special Committee of the Korea Broadcasting Journalist Association. Virtuality can be problematic in journalism since users, when frequently exposed to 'mediated reality' or mediated presentment, often consider it actual and respond to it, rather than reacting to 'actual reality'. Many studies have found that media users tend to perceive mediated reality as an actual outside world. This paper aimed to explain signification of media reporting and limitations of user perception by reviewing major discussions and arguments on virtuality in previous research and history of thoughts. It was easy to link virtuality of mediated reality to the role of the media, which impact public opinion and change the flow of an event, and to other concepts such as the socialization of power, social control and social hegemony.

  • Chinese white cabbage, Chinese flat cabbage, lettuce, garland chrysanthemum, and green perilla were grown in nutrient solution culture to investigate the effects of various media and nutrient solutions. The culture media were sand, mixed substrate(peatmoss : sand= 1 : 1), and non-media(deep-flow culture). The nutrient solutions were Cooper's, Hoagland's, and Yamazaki's solution. Plants were grown under different treatments for three weeks. Generally, the growth was greatest in non-media culture and followed mixed substrate culture, and poorest in sand culture. In non-media culture, the growth of Chinese white cabbage, Chinese flat cabbage, lettuce, and green perilla was good in Yamazaki's solution. And regardless of nutrient solution, garland chrysanthemum was good in non-media culture. Relative chlorophyll was not different among the treatments.

  • Companies and brands that practice sustainability pay attention to New Media due to its ability to build a sustainable relationship between companies and consumers. The need for research on specific roles, characteristics, and social media effects on eco-friendly advertising has had rapid growth in marketing programs for sustainable activities especially shown through social media. Information about sustainable fashion has spread to consumers through social media, and multifarious efforts have been made to attract the attention of youth. Despite the dramatic increase in eco-friendly marketing through social media as a part of sustainability, there is a lack of research on the major influences of emotional factors such as ad color and expression in social media. In this context, it is meaningful to identify relationships between emotional responses, advertising value and consumer behavior of sustainable fashion brands in Instagram and implement a suitable advertising type (color vs expression) for consumers. We used 366 responses for the final analysis. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, structural equation modeling using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of this study suggest that emotional responses, advertising value have a significant effect on the flow. This study expands on a previously limited research field by verifying consumer responses to image advertising on Instagram, rather than general sustainable fashion marketing. The study results also provide meaningful implications for a relation formation between customers and fashion brands vis-${\grave{a}}$-vis sustainable social media marketing.

  • The media transport systems, such as printers, copy machines, facsimiles, ATMs, cameras, etc. have been widely used and being developed rapidly. In the development of those sheet-handling machineries, it is important to predict the static and dynamic behavior of the sheet with a high degree of reliability because the sheets are fed and stacked at such a high speed. Flexible media are very thin, light and flexible, so they behave in geometric nonlinearity with large displacement and large rotation but small strain. In the flexible media analysis, aerodynamic effect from the surrounding air must be included because any small force can make large deformation. In this paper, surrounding air was modeled by incompressible Navier-Stokes flow and an arbitrary Lagranigan-Eulerian(ALE) finite element method with automatic mesh-updating technique was formulated for large domain changes. In the numerical simulations, the results with consideration of the air fast decayed and converged into static results while the results without considering air oscillated continuously.

  • Flexible media such as the paper, the film, etc. are thin, light and very flexible. They behave in geometrically nonlinear. Any of small force makes large deformation. So we must including aerodynamic effect when its behavior is predicted. Thus, it becomes fully coupled fluid-structure interaction(FSI) problem. In FSI problems, where the fluid mesh near the structure undergoes large deformations and becomes unacceptably distorted, which drive the time step to a very small value for explicit calculations, the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE) methods or rezoning are used to create a new undistorted mesh for the fluid domain, which allows the calculations to continue. In this paper, FE sheet model considering geometric nonlinearity is formulated to simulate the behavior of the flexible media. Aerodynamic force to the media by surrounding air is calculated by solving the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Q2Q1(Taylor-Hood) element which means biquadratic for velocity and bilinear for pressure is used for fluid domain. Q2Q1 element satisfies LBB condition and any stabilization technique is not needed. In this paper, cantilevered sheet in the viscous incompressible Navier-Stokes flow is simulated to check the mesh motion and numerical integration scheme, and then falling paper in the air is simulated and the effects of some representative parameters are investigated.
