  • The purpose of this study is to find a way for social welfare organizations to actively cope with environmental changes such as the corona incident according to the work coordination theory that work performance improves when actively coping with environmental changes. In other words, the mediating effect of member agility in the relationship that participatory decision-making affects job performance was identified. The subjects of the survey were workers in welfare centers in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong area, and 310 questionnaires were analyzed, and confirmatory factor analysis, research model analysis, and mediation effect verification were conducted to verify the hypothesis. As a result of the study, participatory decision-making had a significant positive effect on member agility and job performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the partial mediation model including the path that participatory decision-making directly affects job performance and the indirect effect that is linked to job performance after first affecting the agility of members is appropriate. The study has academic significance in that it verifies the effect of participatory decision-making and agility necessary for social welfare organizations, and suggests ways to improve participatory decision-making and agility in hiring, evaluation, and education of employees in social welfare organizations. In this respect, significance can also be found in practical terms.

  • In this study, we analyzed the main factors contributing to SCM quality improvement. The external factors influencing the SCM are environmental aspects and aspects of cooperation with other companies. Internal factors include agility management, flexibility management, and uncertainty management. We analyzed how the factors on each side can improve the quality of SCM and proposed new measures to improve overall SCM performance.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Tai Chi exercise program on physical fitness, pain, and self-efficacy in patients with osteoarthritis. Method: A preexperimental research design was applied to 22 subjects who dwelled at a welfare institution in C-city and agreed to participate in this study. The Tai Chi exercise was conducted with a duration of 60 minutes per session twice a week for 9 weeks. Outcome measures were physical fitness($VO_{2}max$, strength, flexibility, foot power, agility, balance), pain, and self-efficacy. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and paired t-test. Result: After participating in the Tai Chi exercise program, the subjects showed significant improvements in strength, agility, balance, pain and self-efficacy. But there were no significant differences in $VO_{2}max$, flexibility and foot power. Conclusion: The results showed that Tai Chi exercise would partially improve physical fitness and be effective for pain reduction and self efficacy as well. Further studies are needed to confirm the effects of Tai Chi exercise on physical fitness.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented IoT sensors based badminton motion analysis and training system that can be readily used by badminton players with PC. Unlike the traditional badminton training system which uses signals of the flags by coach, the proposed electronic training system used IoT sensors to automatically detect and analysis the motions for badminton players. The proposed badminton motion analysis and training system has the advantage with low power, because it communicates with the program through BLE communication. The badminton motion analysis system automatically measures the training time according to the player's movement, so it is possible to collect objective result data with less errors than the conventional flag signal based method by coach. In this paper, training data of 5 athletes were collected and it provides the feedback function through the visualization of each section of the training results by the players which can enable the effective training. For the weakness section of each player, the coach and the player can selectively and repeatedly perform the training function with the proposed training system. Based on this, it is possible to perform the repeated training on weakness sections and they can improve the response speed for these sections. Continuous research is expected to be able to compare more various players' agility and physical fitness.

  • The pivotal emphasis of the physical training for the security agents of the security headquarters in the North Korea is to inspire them with the defense physical training-centered ideology and the war spirit. Their special martial arts is the protectee-centered offensive arts rather than the self-centered arts. It puts emphasis on training black belt-holders in diverse martial arts rather than in a certain martial art. Thus, the physical training for security agents in the South Korea should be also developed into the ways to rear them as black belt-holders in diverse martial arts rather than to foster them as high grade-holders in a certain martial art. And also, professors majoring in security and physical science have to develop jointly the measures to improve the physical and mental agility and the basic physical strength to inspire rapid handling and perseverance, to develop the physical training program to reduce mental and physical stress of security guards, to develop the standard for the examination of physical strength suitable for the body figures of Korean people and the regular evaluation with the standard and to apply traditional folk-games such as the swing and the seesaw to the physical training for security guards.

  • This study was conducted by dividing L-arginine intake group (n=14) and placebo group (n=14) to investigate the effect of L-arginine intake on athletic performance, lactate, lactate dehydrogenase, and ammonia of men's college Taekwondo Kyorugi players during 8-week of intensive winter training. The L-arginine intake group consumed a total of 3 g, including 1 g for breakfast, 1 g for lunch, and 1 g for dinner, and the placebo group consumed maltodextrin in the same way. The 8-week winter training program was conducted at 70-90%HRR (heart rate reserve). Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used for the interaction between the L-arginine intake group and the placebo group of the measured data, paired t-test was used for the difference between the periods within the group, and the difference between groups was analyzed using independent t-test. As a result, there was an interaction between groups in the average number of kicks among the performance ability through the TAAA (Taekwondo-specific aerobic anaerobic agility) test , and the main effect between groups was shown (p<.05). In addition, there was an interaction between groups and time in the kick fatigue index (p<.05). In lactate, the time-interaction were shown (p<.05) and interaction effects and inter-time main effects were observed in lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)(p<.05). In the case of ammonia, the interaction effect between the group and time was shown (p<.05). These results show that L-arginine intake can play a positive role in quickly synthesizing nitric oxide in blood vessels and expanding blood vessels to quickly remove fatigue-causing substances in the body for athletes who are easily exposed to fatigue after high-intensity training for male college Taekwondo Kyorugi players. Therefore, it is recommended to take L-arginine as a way to improve the performance of high-intensity elite Taekwondo Kyorugi players and recover from fatigue.

  • The elderly population has been dramatically increasing over the past years, but most of the population has developed chronic diseases and handicaps due to aging. High-intensity resistance training is one of the most effective ways to improve muscular strength, but it is unclear whether body composition and functional fitness would be increased by high-intensity resistance training. The aim of this investigation was to explore whether 12 weeks of high-intensity training would improve muscular strength, body composition, and functional fitness in women over the age of 70 years. Twenty-four participants were randomly assigned to a high-intensity resistance training group (n=8), a low-intensity resistance training group (n=8), and a control group (n=8). The experimental groups exercised 3 days per week for 12 weeks at a local fitness center. An analysis of variance(ANOVA) with repeated measures was used for analysis. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in agility and muscular strength following the high-intensity resistance training. Moreover, Moreover, %body fat and body fat mass decreased significantly after the 12 weeks of high-intensity resistance training(p<0.05). Based on these results, it was concluded that high-intensity resistance training is efficient for women over the age 70 years in increasing their muscular strength and functional fitness and reducing their total body fat mass.
