It seems obvious to the contemporary eye that modern technology has finally brought chaotic abundance to the present world, and provided a superficial civilization over the last century. Nevertheless, such an argument about the external phenomena of present culture does not help constitute the right track of modern technology and architecture. Rather, this discussion comes to re-signify the importance of critical metaphysics as a part of man's cultural activities, especially the ontological meaning of them. In this point, the research is intended both to re-certify the essential nature and mythic value of technology through reviewing the ancient and modern philosophical contemplations, and to examine its architectural condition against the rapid expansion of commercial material-culture.

The rural traditional houses in Taebaek mountainous regions play important roles in figuring out values and social aspects of past time including housing life. But due to the introduction of convenient facilities in the current housing life style after industrialized society, many transformations have been taken place even to exist rural traditional folk houses such as installation of new equipment and furniture, the arrangement and function change of rooms, expansion of residential area and etc. So this study aims to secure basic data to prepare installation standard of the convenient facilities as examining convenience facility installation status of the cultural asset designated as rural traditional house, and to identify the meaning and usage of major room of rural traditional houses in order to prepare the proper balances between its original form preservation and residents' convenience living.

The purpose of this study is to study the inner meaning and formative with distorted and atypical Informel image, body image expressed in modern fashion. Method of the study is as follow. The study method examined philosophy of art 19th century?in order to consider interconnections between social and cultural characteristics of expressionistic abstract art, a form of Informel and changed physical style. Based on this method, the Informel image that appeared in the plastic arts in terms of artistic significance and aesthetic value was examined. Based on the above discussion on modern fashion Informel images were expressed in any formative characteristics were considered. The results of this study are as follows. Contingencies through the spontaneous act of art to transcend the image of atypical lines formed elements of coincidence, was developed. Liberation was expressed from liberation of physical boundaries and created outward expansion of the free formative. Atypical was organic forms pursuing spontaneous plasticity and diversity, and appeared in the form of distortion and deformation.

This thesis has purpose of explaining that blur color is not only appreciated but also undecided spacial color in contemporary space design and examining effects of space experience through the light. In keeping such developments, blur color has been perceived as the object of another tool in contemporary space and has provided us with new views by providing various program, sensor and screen from digital media. With the expansion of blur color, light has changed a spacial color structural that is not simple meaning factor into the essential concept. So this research aims to understand the principle of blur color in Olafur Eliasson's work, which of the fine artist in diverse fields from installation art to media art. The principle of blur color such as deconstruction of vanishing point, dimensional transfer, color gradation, and fiction of visual perception makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of blur color. Meanwhile, the features of blur color such as sense of depth from viewpoint changes, hybrid from collapse of order, media metamorphosis from reconstitution and interaction from uncanny can be inferred from case analysis.

Single formative language created by the standardization of industrial society carries a cell constructive aspect. Such space structural form made gigantic buildings, which has a symbolism as an independent object. Such space shows a morphological symbolism by public preference but it did not establish essential meaning of a shape or concentrated relation. In this regard, this paper tries to show organic similarity of structural formality of small commercial space (patterned space), which was made by the continuity of concentrated patterns not an object of dualistic unit features. Therefore, this study analyzed the cultural, commercial and public space based upon systematical concept and features. Systematical space formality that makes multilateral relation between human, environment and a thing is a concentrated view point by relational features not by the cluster displayed by hierarchical features. Systematical space of small patterned space emphasized its appropriateness of expansion and creating diversified spaces unlike gigantic symbolic buildings.

The purpose of this paper is to present failure analysis, of the heat exchanger tube in a district heating system. SS304 stainless steel is used, as material for the heat exchanger tube. The heat exchanger operates in a soft water environment containing a small amount of chloride ions, and regularly repeats operation and standstill period. This causes concentration of chloride ions on the outer surface of the tube, as well as repeat of thermal expansion, and shrinkage of the tube. As a result of microscopic examination, cracks showed transgranular as well as branched propagation, and many pits were present, at the initiation point of each crack. Energy disperstive spectroscopy analysis showed Fe and O peak, as well as Cl peak, meaning that cracks were affected by Cl ion. Failure of the tube was caused by chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking by thermal stress, high temperature, and localized enrichment of chloride ions.

유교에서 교육 또한 가르치고 변화시키는 의미가 있으나, 『중용』 1장에서의 교(敎)의 의미는 매우 간명하고 함축적이다. 『중용』 1장에는 천명(天命)을 성(性)이라고 하고, 성을 따르는 것이 도(道)라고 하며, 이 도를 닦는 것을 교(敎)라고 하였다. 요약하면, 천명을 따르도록 닦는 것이 바로 교(敎)라는 것이다. 그러니까 『중용』 1장에서의 교(敎)의 의미는 바로 수(修)와 일맥상통한다. 여기서 교(敎)의 의미는 소위 『천자문(千字文)』이나 『논어』와 같은 경전을 가르친다든지 지식 전달을 말하는 것이 아니다. 세상의 이치와 사람의 도리 등을 깨치고 수양하는 의미이다. 수양은 자기 변화를 말한다. 교(敎)의 내면적 확충이 바로 수양이 되는 것이며, 타인에 대한 수양의 가르침이 바로 교육이 되는 것이다. 이처럼 최소한 『중용』 1장에서는 수양과 교육은 동의어이다. 나에게 향하면 수양이 되는 것이고, 타인에게 향하면 교육이 되는 것이다. 이것이 중요한 이유는 교육이 전정한 의미에 대한 재고의 여지 때문이다. 오늘날 교육에 대한 보편적 정의는 지식이나 기술의 전달이다. 그러나 『중용』에서는 다른 사람이 수양할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 교육이라고 하였다. 지식이나 기술 전달이 중요한 것이 아니라 본인의 천명을 스스로 깨닫도록 도와주어서 누구나 깨쳐서 행복하게 살 수 있도록 하는 것이 바로 교육의 본연의 역할임을 강조하였다.

'리부트'와 '오마주' 방식은 드라마와 영화 등 전통적인 스토리텔링 분야에서 창작 기법으로 활용되고 있지만 트랜스미디어 스토리월드의 확장 유형의 가능성은 아직 제시되지 않았다. 본 연구는 '리부트'와 '오마주' 방식을 트랜스미디어 스토리월드 확장 유형의 새로운 개념으로 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. '리부트'와 '오마주' 방식은 끊임없이 콘텐츠를 발간하여야 하는 K-POP 아이돌 그룹의 대표적인 스토리텔링 방식으로 자리잡고 있다. 독자적인 스토리월드를 구축한 <엑소>,<방탄소년단>,<워너원>을 사례로 선정하여 서사 창작 부문과 마케팅 활용 부문을 함께 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존의 스토리 리부트 사례인 엑소는 기존 설정을 '과거'로 만들어 새로운 스토리라인을 삽입하는 형식을 취하고 있다. 둘째, 캐릭터의 리부트는 방탄소년단 사례로서 '아이돌 방탄소년단'과 '캐릭터 방탄소년단'을 병행하여 스토리월드를 구축했다. 셋째, 기존 스토리월드의 오마주는 워너원의 사례로 <프로듀스 101>의 스토리월드를 재구성하며 기존 향유층을 자연스럽게 끌어오고 있다. 넷째, 타 미디어 오마주는 방탄소년단 사례로 고전 작품의 의미를 방탄소년단의 캐릭터와 스토리월드로 재해석하여 보여준다.

본 연구는 TMA wire로 제작된 transpalatal lingual arch에 의한 골내 응력 분포를 파악하기 위하여 양측성 및 편측성 확장을 가하여 이때 발생하는 치아주위조직 응력 분포 양상을 광탄성 응력 해석법으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 양측성 확장시 수평 변형만 적용했을 때 탄선끝이 각진 경우 둥근 탄선끝을 적용한 경우보다 응력이 치근단으로 집중되며 회전 중심을 의미하는 흑색선이 변화하는 양태를 보였고 수직변형량이 증가되면서 전체적인 응력차수의 증가와 흑색선의 하방 이동 양상을 보였다. 2. 편측성 확장을 위해 수평 변형과 함께 확장측에만 수직 변형을 적용하였을 때 확장력이 확장측으로 편중되는 응력 분포를 관찰할수 있었다. 수직 변형량의 증가시 확장측 구치는 정출하는 응력을 보였고 수평변형량의 증가시 고정측 치아도 경사지려는 응력 분포가 관찰되었다. 3. 편측 구치의 회전을 개선하기 위해 철사끝을 비대칭적으로 toe-in한 경우 변형량이 적은 구치의 치근단 원심측에 응력 분포를 관찰할수 있었다. 4. 악궁 확장시 철사의 길이를 줄일수록 무늬차수가 증가하는 응력 분포를 보였다.

특공무술은 은폐된 역사로 인해서 진실이 왜곡되어 있다. 이러한 정황을 찾기 위해서 특공무술 관계자들의 증언을 토대로 한 구술사(口述史)를 연구방법으로 적용했고, 대외비(對外秘)로 발간된 대통령경호실 육군본부 제27부대 제5특전여단 등의 문헌자료들도 정보공개 과정을 거쳐서 수집했다. 첫째, 박정희 대통령의 지시로 1978년 6월 1일에 창설된 특전사 소속 제606부대는, 1978년 7월 2일 대통령경호실에 배속되어 국내 최초의 항공기 대테러를 목적으로 비밀리에 운용되었다. 그리고 제606부대에서는 기존 무술들의 장점을 합한 실전 종합무술로서 특공무술을 체계화하였다. 둘째, 특공무술은 경호무도의 특성을 가지고 개발되었다. 제606부대원들은 대통령경호실 소속 특공부대의 일원으로 특공무술을 개발했고, 이에 특공무술은 개발단계부터 경호무도로서의 특성을 포함하게 되었다. 셋째, 제606부대의 특공무술은 군과 경호실로 나뉘어 발전했다. 군에서는 제5공수특전여단에 의해 새롭게 구성한 국방무술로 보급되었고, 대통령경호실에서는 기존에 수련하던 합기도를 특공무술로 교체하여 보급되었다. 넷째, 특공무술의 개발과 발전은 정치적인 배경에 많은 영향을 받았다. 특공무술을 개발한 부대는 당시 정치적인 권력이 막강했던 경호실의 통제 하에 있었으므로, 이후 부대의 명칭이나 활동의 변화도 한국 내 정치적인 상황과 밀접하게 연관되었다. 이 같은 점은 제606부대가 제27부대로 개칭한 뒤에 차기 대통령의 경호를 담당하게 되면서부터 본격적인 경호업무로 전환했다는 점에서도 나타난다.
