P대학에서는 수학 기초학력 부진학생들의 문제해결력 향상과 학업성취도 고양을 위하여, 기초수학및연습 교과목을 개설하고 있다. 이 교과목은 미적분학의 선수과목으로 운영되며, 수준별 학급을 편성하여 다양한 학습 자료를 활용한 발표 중심의 수업을 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국공학인증 지원을 위해 기초수학및연습 교과목의 강의 포트폴리오를 제출한 30개 학급에서 수강한 1,106명의 취득 성적과 및 강의평가 결과를 분석하였다. 아울러, 각 담당교수가 제출한 강의 포트폴리오의 강의개선 보고서를 기반으로 기초수학및연습 교과목의 수준별 학급 운영에 대한 유의점과 그 개선방안을 찾아본다.

This study investigated the perception of pre - service teachers in order to find out how paper textbooks are used in high school classes and what improvement is needed. Firstly, the results of analyzing the perception about the utilization of textbooks are as follows. First, in the case of Korean language, social studies, mathematics, science, and English, textbooks were used most frequently, and most of the respondents did not use textbooks for arts and physical education subjects. Secondly, Korean language, social studies, mathematics, science, and English textbooks are most frequently used as teaching materials. Third, in the case of Korean, social, mathematics, science, and English subjects, in addition to textbooks, problem collections were used most frequently and arts and physical education subjects showed the most use of prints. Next, the results of analyzing the perception of the improvement method of the textbooks are as follows. First, in the high school class, the response rate was high in that Korean, social, mathematics, science, and English classes needed a textbook. Most of the respondents answered that they were not necessary for the textbooks of arts and physical education subjects. Second, in order to improve the textbooks, the most demanding textbooks focused on the core basic contents, followed by self - directed learning activities, competency centered contents selection, cooperative learning activities, and teacher self - development. The demand for digital textbooks was low.

This study investigates the perceptions toward prospective elementary teachers regarding the revised 2015 elementary mathematics curriculum. The aim is to understand the importance and implementation of the revised curriculum and provide implications for curriculum improvement in elementary teacher education institutions, using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The research findings are as follows: Firstly, prospective elementary teachers perceived that the areas of the revised 2015 elementary mathematics curriculum that require particular focus are number and operations and data and probability. Secondly, they identified the specific elements within these areas that demand dedicated attention as follows: numbers up to four digits in number and operations, mixed calculations with natural numbers, shapes of solid figures, spatial sense of solid figures, comparison of quantities in measurement, etc. These findings can inform the improvement of the curriculum in elementary teacher education institutions.

This paper discusses and searches for mathematical analysis and efficient algorithm for types of wallpapers. We study some previous classification methods, develop a systematic process, and present some examples of determining types of wallpaper through our algorithm. Through this approach, we expect to introduce a mathematical perspective on relation between real life and mathematics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate various mathematics education improvement or reform movements of Western Europe countries (United Kingdom, Germany, etc.) and the United States of America, to see the effects of those movements on Korean mathematics education circle, and to find a direction of Korean mathematics curriculum design. The third Korean mathematics curriculum was most affected by the new mathematics movement of the United States of America. This movement was emphasizing abstract structure, logical rigorousness and discovery learning of mathematics, which was fired from late fifties. Korean mathematics education circle imported the new mathematics early seventies from USA, but serious problems had been found at that time in USA. This study has pointed out that new math oriented Korean mathematics curriculum was not proper and the new mathematics itself was disastrous for most Korean students' learning. The study also points out that they hurried too much introducing the new mathematics and publishing new mathematics oriented textbooks but they had not sufficient teacher training programs. In our future mathematics curriculum reform, we have to remember such a historical lesson.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the problems of mathematics education in Korea by conducting an in-depth analysis of international comparative studies, a Delphi method, and a survey. Further analysis of TIMSS and PISA results also reveals several negative aspects of mathematics education practice in Korea. The mathematics education experts' opinions collected by Delphi method were classified into 12 categories: private education and test-driven education, curriculum and textbooks, lessons, evaluation, teacher, learner, teaching aid and facilities. affective aspects of mathematics, discrepancy between a theory and a practice, preservice/inservice teacher education and teacher employment test, education policy, and overall. Another survey was conducted to focus more on the development of curriculum which is a pending issue. Considering the fact that mathematics education should contribute to improve practical aspect as well as elaborate theoretical aspect, this study lays a foundation of improvement of mathematics education in Korea.

This research aims to analyse implementation effects of the Real mathematics Education(RME) in the high school probability and statistics For this aim, two research questions are estabilished as fellows. (1) Is there any improvement of mathematical achievement in the class by RME's lecture than in the class by the mathematics text's lecture ? (2) Is there any improvement of mathematisation level in the class by RME's lecture than in the class by the mathematics text's lecture ? Before answering the above research questions, RME.`s lecture notes and ordinary lecture notes are developed based on the learning principles of the RME and mathematics textbook respectively. Two classes are randomly chosen from a high school located at midium size city and assigned as the experimental group and the control group respectively. The 20 hours of the RME's lecture notes is administerd to the experimental group and the 20 hours of the odinary lecture notes is administerd to the control group. It is shown that the class by RME's lecture is more effective in both of the mathematical achievement and the mathematisation activity than the class by the ordinary lecture. Hence, it is urged from the result of this research that RME's context will be developed and the RME's lecture will be implemented in the other field of high school mathematics.

최근 들어, 한국학교교육의 개선을 위한 방안의 탐색이 이루어지면서 융복합교육이 새로운 교육 모델로 제기되고 있다. 융복합교육이 대안적인 교육 모델로 제기되는 바탕에는 국가경쟁력의 유지 발전에 지식 융합 역량이 기여하는 바에 대한 기대감, 융합 학문 및 산업의 발전에 따라 변화하는 대학교육에 대응하여 초중등교육이 변화해야할 필요성, 지식기반사회에서 요구되는 기본 역량으로서 창의적 지식 창출 능력을 함양해야 할 필요성 등 다양한 입장이 존재한다. 이에 대하여 본 연구에서는 융합현상의 인식론적 규범에 대한 고려에 기초하여 실존적 존재로서 학생의 전인적 성장을 촉진할 수 있는 학습 환경을 제공함으로써 교육의 인본화를 실현하는 것이 융복합교육이 지향해야할 핵심적 과제임을 주장하였다. 이러한 관점에서 국내외 융복합교육 프로그램 사례를 검토함으로써 융복합교육이 학교수학교육을 개선하는데 기여할 수 있는 방법론을 탐색하고 그 실천에서 고려해야할 사항을 논하였다.

Ten years have passed since Korea began its movement of modernization of mathematics education. In that period, there have been many studies for the movement. But most of the studies were those of curriculum. But the topic of this report reveals that the modernization of mathematics education in Korea depends on the frontiership, the deliberate studies of materials and the improvement of teaching forms in class.

본 논문에서는 미국, 러시아, 싱가포르, 이스라엘의 수학영재교육을 비교 분석하여 이들 사이의 유사점과 차이점을 통해 외국의 수학영재교육이 우리나라 영재교육에 주는 시사점이 무엇인지 알아보는 것이다.
