  • In this paper, the authors establish some double inequalities concerning the (q, k)-deformed Gamma function. These inequalities emanate from certain problems of traffic flow. The procedure makes use of the integral representation of the (q, k)-deformed Gamma function.

  • Mandelbrot sets and its generalizations have been extensively studied by using the Picard iterations. The purpose of this paper is to study superior Mandelbrot sets, a new class of Mandelbrot sets by introducing the Mann iterative procedure for polynomials Q$_{c}$(z) := z$^n$ + c. We generate some superior Mandelbrot sets for different values of n ($\geq$2) and these new figures are exciting and fascinating.g.

  • $\sub$e/$\^$2/, that were results from those three sources of such imperfection. Especially to eliminate the differences in severity among many raters the randomization procedure of raters sample was very effective in enhancing the reliability of ratings with comparatively small groups of examinees and raters. And we also introduced the new rating methods, i.e. the 2-step diagnostic procedures to check the sizes of the reliability stability of raters and the sore adjustment method to enumerate the optimal mean values in rating the examinees.

  • The aim of of the study is a powerful test for the discrimination and therefore an optimal desin for that purpose. This problem is studied by Chernoff ([5]) and used in Chernoff ([6]) for accelerated life tests using the exponential distribution for life times. The approach used here is similar to that suggested by Lauter ([10]) and used in Chaloner ([3]) and Chaloner and Larntz ([4]) where it is motivated using Bayesian arguments. The approach taken in this paper the loss function $L(\cdot)$ evaluating a test procedure and a design d.

  • In this paper, we provide 3 detailed and explicit procedure of obtaining some regions of attraction for the positive steady state (assumed to exist) of a well known Lotka-Volterra type predator-prey system. Also we obtain the sufficient conditions to ensure that the positive equilibrium point of a well known Lotka-Volterra type predator-prey system with a single discrete delay is globally asymptotically stable.

  • We in this note consider a generalized ring theoretic property of quasi-commutative rings in relation with powers. We will use the terminology of weakly left quasi-commutative for the class of rings satisfying such property. The properties and examples are basically investigated in the procedure of studying idempotents and nilpotent elements.

  • This paper suggest a method of inclusion probability proportional to size sampling that provides a non-negative and stable variance estimator. The sampling procedure is quite simple and flexible since a sampling design is easily obtained using mathematical programming. This scheme appears to be preferable to Nigam, Kumar and Gupta's (1984) method which uses a balanced incomplete block designs. A comparison is made with their method through an example in the literature.

  • An interpolation-based unique decoding algorithm of Algebraic Geometry codes was recently introduced. The algorithm iteratively computes the sent message through a majority voting procedure using the Gr$\ddot{o}$bner bases of interpolation modules. We now combine the main idea of the Guruswami-Sudan list decoding with the algorithm, and thus obtain a hybrid unique decoding algorithm of plane AG codes, significantly improving the decoding speed.

  • Gifted education has been becoming a focus of every field in Chinese society as a special educational mode, since Special Class for the Gifted Youth in the University of Science and Technology of China began to enroll students. In this paper we first introduce the developing procedure of the gifted education in China, and then recommend and analyze the characteristics of a successful gifted educational base in China. At length, we probe into the problems that exist in process of carrying on the gifted education in China for reference.
