This study examines the housing-related characteristics of unmarried youth using occupational history data from the 10th-14th (2016-2020) youth panel (YP2007) of the Korea Employment Information Service, and the characteristics of housing and employment. Their effect on marriage intention was empirically analyzed. The results of the analysis show that highly educated people, high-wage workers, household heads or economically independent young people, and young people in good financial conditions have a high willingness to marry. Their economic conditions are very important factors. Among the young employed who have become economically independent from their parents, full-time permanent workers, workers at large corporations, and highly waged youth showed a strong desire to get married. On the contrary, young people who are insecure temporary/daily workers, workers at small firms, and low-wage workers show a low willingness to marry. In conclusion, the results imply that young people who are in a vulnerable state in the labor market are giving up or delaying their marriage. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance policies to provide better employment opportunities for youth and, simultaneously, revamp the policy measures to enhance housing conditions.
The present study was conducted to examine the effect of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control in explaining multicultural receptive behavior intention as well as multicultural receptive behavior, i.e., test the theory of planned behavior(Ajzen, 1991), to investigate the role of Korean social identity in the prediction of multicultural receptive behavior, and to investigate the role of stereotype and prejudice(i.e. attitude about object) in the prediction of multicultural receptive behavior. A sample of 505 undergraduate participated in the survey. The results from stepwise regression analyses indicated that the multicultural receptive intention was explained 47.4% by the theory of planned behavior, while multicultural receptive behavior was explained 61.1% by this theory. When the Korean social identity, stereotype and prejudice were added into the stepwise regression analysis, the variance was increased to 51.8% for multicultural receptive intention and 65.9% for multicultural receptive behavior. Furthermore, the influence of the Korean social identity on multicultural receptive intention/behavior was weak, but the influence of the stereotype on multicultural receptive behavior was strong. Finally the implications and limitations of the present study as well as the future directions of this area were discussed.
Objectives : A Pregnancy becomes a developmental challenge and a life-turning point for both the woman herself and her family. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation amomg the family support, intention of pregnancy and the antenatal self-care of pregnant women. Method : The data were collected from 129 pregnant women by a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, using the SPSS program. Result : The findings of the study are as fellows : Statistically significant variables related to family support were age, religion, educational level, occupation, relationship with husband, relationship with mother. Statistically significant variables related to intention of pregnancy were religion, abortion history. Statistically significant variables related to antenatal self-care were age, religion, occupation, abortion history, relationship with mother, the term of marriage. There was a significant correlation between family support and intention of pregnancy, family support and antenatal self-care, intention of pregnancy and antenatal self-care. Conclusion : Therefore, it is proposed that family support is an appropriate nursing intervention to improve the antenatal self-care and intention of pregnancy in pregnant women.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting job satisfaction, job stress, turnover intention, work-family and family-work relationship of married dental hygienists with young children. Methods: 242 copies of self-reported questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analysis of collected data was conducted using the statistical program of Stata 13.0 (StataCorp., College Station, TX, USA). Results: Turnover intention was higher when the child age was lower and the child support and parenting stress were higher. But when working hours were adjustable, the turnover intention was low. Job stress was higher as the position, monthly income and night working hours were higher. Job satisfaction was higher as night work was fewer, work time was adjustable and family life satisfaction was higher. When parenting stress was high, job satisfaction was low and job stress and turnover intention were high. Work-family relationships were more affected by lower monthly income and parents-first child caregivers. Workplace factors affecting the family life were monthly income, caregiver and number of night work. The higher the parenting stress, the greater the mutual influence between family and work life. Age, family life, parenting stress and turnover intention were identified to affect family-work relationship. Parenting stress and job stress were identified to be influential on work-family relationship. Conclusions: Married dental hygienists are leaving the clinical setting due to their marriage and childbirth, or showing the effects on family-work and work-family relationships due to parenting. Efforts should be made to efficiently utilize professional manpower and to improve the psychological and physical working environment surrounding the married dental hygienists.
This study was conducted to identify the effects of perception of job characteristics, personal-organizational fit and emotional labor on the turnover intention. 228 nurses working in across 11 hospitals in U city participated in this study. Data were analyzed descriptive statistics t-test, one way, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Hierachial Regression analysis. The factors affecting the turnover intention of the subject are the marriage (β=-.106, p=.044), personal-organizational fit (β=-.441, p=.001), emotional labor (β=.318, p<.001) and the three variables could be sufficiently explained by 47.7%. therefore, it is necessary to create an environment where nurses can adapt to their organizations, and to find a way to reduce their emotional labor to decrease nurses's turnover intention.
The online shopping industry in China has experienced rapid growth, particularly in the infant goods sector, which is considered highly promising in terms of its growth potential. This growth can be attributed to the Chinese market's increasing economic power, the implementation of new policies concerning marriage and childbirth, changes in family structure, and evolving and diverse consumer demands for infant products. While the infant clothing industry has emerged as a significant player in the Chinese market, there is still a lack of sufficient academic research on the online shopping environment specific to China's infant clothing industry. The objective of this study was to explore the influence of online experiential marketing on brand loyalty and purchase intention among Chinese consumers of children's wear. The study findings indicated that the emotional experience, action experience, and relationship experience encountered by consumers during online interactions had a positive and significant impact on brand loyalty. Both perceptual experience and cognitive experience had a positive and significant influence on consumers' willingness to make a purchase. The study also revealed that brand loyalty had a positive and significant effect on consumers' purchase intention. The perception of online experiential marketing, brand loyalty, and purchase intention varied based on individual attributes, and gender was found to moderate the relationship between online experiential marketing and brand loyalty.
This study compared and analyzed the effect of the burden of household expenditure in the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas on the intention to childbirth intention to married women using a panel logit model. To this end, this analysis targeted married women aged 25 to 39 who are highly likely to be fertile. The main results are as follows; First of all, it was confirmed that the economic power of spouse can be an important factor in the childbirth intention regardless of region. Second, it was found that the higher the satisfaction of marriage had a positive effect on the childbirth intention, and also higher the value that children must have, the higher the childbirth intention. Third, it was confirmed that the burden of household expenditure is the most important factor in the willingness to childbirth intention, excluding factors such as the number of existing children. In particular, the burden on education spending in both the capital region and non-capital region was found to be a key reason for the decrease in the childbirth intention. Lastly, the burden of household expenditure showed different effects on childbirth intention on depending on the region. Specifically, in the capital region, medical spending and loans had a greater impact, while, in the non-capital region, transportation and communication costs had a greater impact on childbirth intentions. Through the results, this study confirmed the implication that easing the burden on household expenditure is continuously necessary to enhance childbirth, and that discriminatory policy approaches are required depending on the area of residence.
Given the interdependence of a marital couple, this study examined the effects of both cultural challenge and economic hardship on intention to divorce among the multicultural couple using the actor-partner interdependence model(APIM), and explored dyadic patterns of actor and partner effects. 415 couples(n=830) participated in this self-administered questionnaire study. Results of path analyses based on APIMs revealed that for Korean husbands perceived cultural challenge contributed positively to divorce intention of the couple showing both actor and partner effects, whereas for immigrant wives such perception showed only an actor effect. In contrast, perceived economic hardship among the husbands had little effect on divorce intention of both husbands and wives, whereas such perception by wives had both actor and partner effects on divorce intention. Results of dyadic pattern analyses performed by Bootstrap indicated the actor-only pattern and the couple pattern of perceived cultural challenge on divorce intention of husbands and wives respectively. In case of perceived economic hardship comparison of the effect size suggested the partner-only pattern and the actor-only pattern for divorce intention of husbands and wives respectively. These findings implied that in order to promote conjugal harmony and to prevent the multicultural family from being dissolved, Korean husbands need to develop greater cultural competence so as to tolerate cultural differences between the couple, whereas immigrant wives and their families need to develop greater economic competence so as to foster a hope for economic reliance.

Purpose : This narrative research study aimed to identify the degree of correlation between hospice awareness and knowledge of and attitude toward advance directives. Methods : A survey was conducted from July 5 to July 15, 2018 with 210 adults in C city, Gyeongsangnam-do. Using the SPSS 21.0 program, the data analysis methods utilized were the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results : The degree of hospice awareness was measured according to the general characteristics of the subjects, which were as follows: heard about economic level, importance of religion, heard of hospice, heard about advance directives, and intention to execute advance directives. The knowledge of advance directives had significant differences by age, hospitalization experience, religion, and being the final decision maker for a family problem. The attitude toward advance directives differed significantly by marriage status and the intention to write an advance directives. The relationship between hospice awareness and knowledge and attitude toward advance directives showed a positive significant correlation (r=.47, p<001). The relationship between knowledge of and attitude toward advance directives also indicated a positive significant correlation (r=.20, p=.005). Conclusion : This study provided basic data to inform promotion of hospice awareness and an educational intervention about advance directives.

Vietnam has become one of the largest markets in Southeast Asia, with huge demand for many kinds of consumer goods, including dairy products. Although the domestic industry of producing and distributing milk has flourished dramatically in recent years, Vietnam still heavily hinges on dairy imports. The total value of milk products in 2020 exceeded 1 billion USD, leading to Vietnam being one of the 20 biggest importers of dairy milk globally. To explore this potential industry, we applied a multivariate linear regression model to investigate the milk consumption behaviors of Vietnamese adults. 2000 participants took part in our survey in which the products evaluated were Dielac Alpha - the most famous national powdered milk introduced in 2007 by Vinamilk. This product was designed for all ages, from children aged 0-6 to pregnant women or adults. The results indicate that the decision to purchase milk could be attributed to a host of factors. While price represents the most strongly influential factor, there might be variations according to consumer characteristics, namely age, marriage status, gender, and particular shopping behavior. From these findings, we propose some managerial implications for regulatory bodies and relevant enterprises to prepare appropriate policies and strategies for their business development.
